The body was cremated under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville.
He is survived by his fiancee, Cassandra Green of Magazine; a son, Troy Shaddon Jr.; adopted son, James Bruner of the home; his mother, Betty Miller of Magazine; 10 sisters, Linda Hoy of Knoxville, Laquitta Osbourne of Havana, Brenda Walker of North Little Rock, Ronda Miller of Booneville, Rose Underwood of Florida, Loretta Gray and April Shaddon, both of Russellville, and Hazel Shaddon of Arkansas, Sally Shaddon and Martha Cornwell, both of Magazine; two brothers, James Shaddon of Sr. of Paris, Tenn., and Chester Shaddon Jr. of London; two stepsisters, Sherry Masengil of Arkansas and Bonnie Masengil of Florida; two stepbrothers, Mark Masengil of Magazine and Mike Masengil of Iowa.
Dr. Harry Baker
OZARK — Dr. Harry M. Baker, 71, of Ozark died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in his home. He was born July 14, 1932. He was a former hospital administrator for Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial, a member of American Medical Association and Hospital Administration Association, and was an Air Force veteran.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at cemetery Ridge cemetery in Ozark.
He is survived by a companion, Wyatt Smith of Ozark; a son, Raymond Baker of Houston; two sisters, Janice Miller of Friendswood, Texas and Joyce Naeger of Columbia, Mo.; four brothers, Stanley and Ralph Baker, both of East Brunswick, N.J., Raymond Baker of Hartford, Conn., and Donald Baker of Bloomfield, Conn.
Pallbearers will be Sue McCain, Gwyn Franklin, Wayne Hodges, Joe Powell, C.A. Kuykendall, Chad Stacy and Brian Rinke.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Janiece Chambers
Janiece Medlock Chambers, 52, of Van Buren died Monday, May 31, 2004, in her home. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; a son, Billy Chambers of Van Buren; a sister, Betty Turner of Rudy; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Yandell, Rick Turner, Billy Chambers, Terrance McFarland, David Matevia and Charlie Roberts.
Charles Parker
OZARK — Charles L. Parker, 77, of Ozark died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in his home. He was born Sept. 16, 1926. He was a mechanic for the U.S. Government and an Army veteran of World War II.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Pond Creek cemetery in Altus under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
He is survived by his wife, Alma; two sons, Larry and Mike Parker, both of Ozark; a sister, Molly Graham of Ozark; a brother, Billy Parker of Ozark; and two grandchildren.
Joe Rhodes
POTEAU — Joe Wayne Rhodes, 46, of Poteau died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in Poteau. He was born June 22, 1957, in Poteau. He was a KCS Railroad engineer and a graduate of Spiro High School.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Baptist Church in Spiro with burial at Fairview cemetery in Panama under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by a daughter, Joanna Whisenhunt of Shady Point; a son, Joe Rhodes of Spiro; his mother, Mary Starr of Tahlequah, Okla.; his father, Joe Rhodes of Monroe; and a sister, Jerri Diver of Tahlequah, Okla.

Sandra Trimble, 44, of Van Buren died Sunday, May 30, 2004, in her home. She was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Gracelawn cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck; a daughter, Janna Trimble of Van Buren; a son, Joshua Trimble of Van Buren; and her mother, Mary Brooks of Van Buren.

Reginald Columbus House, 60, of Van Buren died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in his home. He was a self-employed ceramic tile installer and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Cowell of Fort Smith; three sons, Kevin House of Van Buren, Keith House of Arkoma and Keraig House of Rudy; two sisters, Sandra Swaim of Natural Dam and Barbara Hutson of Fort Smith; three brothers, Richard and Jim House, both of Fort Smith, and Johnny House of Rye Hill; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Raymond L. Spruell, 67, of Fort Smith died Monday, May 31, 2004, in Oklahoma. He was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church and current Eucharistic minister, was the former parish council member and past PTA president, a member of the Knights of Columbus, former member of the Fort Smith Little Theater, former commissioner of the church baseball league, a member of the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club, the Bass Masters and past Water and Sewer Commissioner for the city of Fort Smith.
Rosary will be 6:30 p.m. Friday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Christ The King Catholic Church with burial at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Bettye; two daughters, Libby Strong and Amy Sembritzky, both of Dallas; a son, Raymond Spruell Jr. of Jonesboro; two brothers, Bud Spruell of Hot Springs and Bill Spruell of Fort Smith; and one grandchild.

Sid Lakin, 78, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, June 2, 2004. He was a retired electrical engineer from Holley Industries (Division of Colt Industries) in Sallisaw, a member of the United Hebrew Congregation, the Boy Scouts of America, Arkansas Game and Fish, Westark Wildlife Association, Fort Smith Association of the Deaf, National Rifle Association, Old Fort Gun Club, 
military Order of the Purple Heart, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Graveside service will be at New Montefiore cemetery in West Babylon, N.Y., with local arrangements under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Anita; five children and three grandchildren.

Reed Douglas “Super Dad” Hildebrant Jr., 72, of El Paso, Texas, died Friday, June 4, 2004, in Lubbock, Texas. He was of the Catholic faith, was a graduate of Texas Western College in June 5, 1955. He received a bachelor’s degree of business administration. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was a member of the East El Paso Rotary Club for 35 years and holder of Paul Harris Fellow, and a member of the “Sons of the Sun.” He was an Eagle Scout for 40 years with BSA holder of the Silver Beaver. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict and received the Bronze Star. He was the owner of Hildebrant’s Inc. in El Paso.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Evelyn Newman Hildebrant; two daughters, Janet Anne Mattingly of Houston and Mary Lee Hildebrant Scholz of Lubbock, Texas; three sons, Reed Douglas Hildebrant III of Sheridan, Ore., James Arthur Hildebrant of El Paso, Texas, and Christopher Lee Hildebrant of Fort Drum, N.Y.; a sister, Diana Mohrhauser of Ruidoso, N.M.; a brother, Dennis Hildebrant of El Paso; and 13 grandchildren.

Thelma Izola Davis, 77, of Clarksville died Friday, June 4, 2004, in Countryside Manor in Lamar. She was a cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Arce Floyd Curtis and Mary Syble Rowbotham Curtis.

Eileen Sobarnia Fillingham, 85, of Paris died Saturday, June 5, 2004, in Searcy of natural causes. She was a retired accountant with the federal government. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Paris.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris. The burial will be at San Diego at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Fillingham of Paris; a daughter, Janet Neil of Ramona, Calif.; two sons, Don Sobarnia of San Diego and Jay Sobarnia of Las Vegas; a sister, Ruby Serviss of Apple Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
