John Huddleston
CONWAY — John Weldon Huddleston, 60, of Conway, formerly of Caulksville, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Conway. He was a welder for Am-Tran and a member of Paris Church of Christ.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Smith Mortuary in Charleston with burial at Garden of Memories in Charleston.
He is survived by a daughter, Christy Dawn Huddleston of Paragould; a son, John Weldon Huddleston Jr. of Charleston; the mother of his children, Clyde Mae Huddleston of Caulksville; two brothers, Billy Don Huddleston of Snyder, Texas and Wayland Huddleston of San Angelo, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Rick Law, Benny Riley, Joe and Jimmy Patterson, Ryan and Haskell Casalman, Larry Skeets and Clayton Cooper.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Maria Valdivia
SALLISAW — Maria Valdivia, infant daughter of Bill and Maria Valdivia of Sallisaw, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Fort Smith. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Brushy cemetery north of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Valdivia of the home; a brother, Nathan Valdivia of the home; her maternal grandparents, Juan Gutierrez of Mexico and Maria Valesco of Sallisaw, paternal grandparents, Guillermo Valdivia and Luz Maria Valdivia of Sallisaw.
Mitchell Ary
KINTA — Mitchell Ary, 17, of Kinta died Saturday, May 26, 2001, in Kinta. He was a Kinta High School student and was active in the high school football and basketball teams.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Faith Community Church in Whitefield with burial at Quinton City cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by his parents, Donna Richardson and Donnie Ary and Kevin and Ramona Bray; his grandparents, Velma Ary, Jim and Edith Bray and Betty and James Richardson; three sisters, Kelly Hyslop, Andrea and Tesa Bray; four brothers, Donald and Douglas Lubby, Clint Ary and Aaron Bray.

Ray Boster, 78, of Fort Smith died Monday, May 28, 2001, in a local hospital. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a retired service station owner and a butcher for Kroger, Market Basket and Goff Brothers Grocery Stores.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by a daughter, Diane Stuart of Van Buren; three sons, David Boster of Van Buren, Dennis Boster of Fort Smith and Donald Boster of Alma; a sister, Leila Lollis of Van Buren; two brothers, Wayne Boster of Van Buren and Doyle Boster of Lincoln, Neb.; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brad, Brent and Joe Dan Boster and Marty Stuart.
Lonnie Bonner
Lonnie “Butch” Bonner, 74, of Van Buren died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in a local hospital. He was born July 27, 1926, in Booneville. He was a retired truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service, a musician and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Dallas; two daughters, Lily Copeland of Van Buren and Janice Clark of West Fork; two sons, Jackie Bonner of Van Buren and Tommy Bonner of Monte Vista, Colo.; a sister, Edna Mae Beaty of Springdale; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and three nephews.
Pallbearers will be Conrad Smith, Charles Gilmore, Jerry Cottingham, James Beaty, Claudie and Carrol Copeland, John Szczerba and Leon Green.

COAL HILL — Donald Loren Nagel, 73, of Coal Hill died Monday, May 28, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born April 24, 1928, in Coal Hill. He was a farmer and ran Nagel’s Station in Altus.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. today in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark.
Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial at St. Mary’s cemetery in Altus.
He is survived by his wife, Reba; four daughters, Kim Tedford of Coal Hill, Bernadette Dillman of Bunker Hill, Ind., Jennifer Underwood of Quitman and Becky Nagel of Van Buren; four sons, Walter and Chris Nagel, both of Coal Hill, Gary Nagel of Holly, Mich., and Bret Nagel of Ozark; his twin sister, Dolores Skulman of Ozark; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

RUDY — Brett Austin Stephens Rainwater, 38, of Rudy died Friday, May 25, 2001, in his home. He was a construction worker for Reeds’ Construction of Alma.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. today at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren. The body will be cremated.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa; two daughters, Cierra and Britney Rainwater, both of the home; a stepdaughter, Ashley Mosby of the home; his mother and stepfather, Anita and Jerry Carter of Alma; his father and stepmother, Milton and Linda Stephens of Spiro; four sisters, Angella Brown of Rover, Mary Tyler of Fort Smith, Stefoni Melton of Texas and Crystal White of Alma; and four brothers, Royce Blood of Sapulpa, Okla., Bryant Stephens of Fort Smith, Neal Tyler of Pine Bluff and Jess Carter of California.
H.J. Bill Hurley
H.J. Bill Hurley, 82, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather of Fort Smith died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Fort Smith. He was born Nov. 4, 1918, in Miami, Okla., the son of the late Harold and Alma Reather Hurley Sr. Bill was a retired sales representative and a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Belle Point Lodge No. 20, a 32nd degree Mason. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret; two daughters and sons-in-law, Meredith and Wayne Muncy of Fort Smith, Sunde and Bob McGinnis of Mesa, Ariz.; a son, Joseph “Joe” Hurley of Phoenix; three sisters, Celestine Hoedl of Shawnee, Kan., Anglyn Berdan of Fort Smith and Barbara Mackey of Van Buren; and eight grandchildren, Traci Sanchez, Amy Sanford, Tara Clifford, Joshua Salle, Joe Hurley, Michael McGinnis, Megan and Mandy Hurley; eight great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael McGinnis. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith. Wilka Vera Wann
Wilka Vera Wann, 86, of Pocola died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a retired school teacher of 37 years, a member of Pocola First Baptist Church and Retired Oklahoma Teachers Association and Alpha Delpha Kappa.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Pocola First Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by her husband, Farmer Wann of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Deborah Wann of Siloam Springs; two grandchildren, Suzanne and Mason Wann; seven nieces and nephews, Jean Schwindt, Delores Dye, Clarice Almond, Maxine Smith, Earlene Kirk, Nolan and James Dunham.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Basinger, Eddie Coleman, Jerry Smittle, Don Richardson, Steve Hendrix and Jerry Gregory.

Dwight L. Durrington
Dwight L. Durrington, son of William and Effie Durrington, beloved husband of Ethel Durrington, loving father to Wayne, Jim and Carole, plus 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, William Elton, his wife, Ethel and granddaughter, Connie Simmons, a brother, Clint Durrington and a sister, Ruth Frisch.
Dwight was born in Dallas County, Mo. on Oct. 14, 1904 being the middle son of nine children he grew up on a Missouri farm, breaking horses and working in the fields with his brothers. He left Missouri when he was just 16, going to Iowa to shuck corn then riding the rails to California, where he met his life time love, Ethel Butcher. They traveled to Canada to homestead and as a result 15 years later returned to California then up to Idaho to farm. Only traveling a short distance they first lived in New Acres (close to Parma), then on to Middleton until retirement then into Caldwell. After many years of bowling and traveling until 1992 when Ethel passed away and soon thereafter Dwight went to live with Carole in Arkansas.
Dwight passed this world for a better place and to keep a long awaited date with Ethel, on May 29, 2001, leaving a legacy that cannot be equaled. He was well loved by everyone that came in contact with him in Pink Bud nursing home and we know that he would have said “Thank You” to all of them for being so good to him. The world is a lesser place but Heaven is rejoicing over him.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Canyon Hill cemetery in Caldwell, Idaho.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Tammy Lynne Jarvis, 27, of Fort Smith died Saturday, May 26, 2001, in Fort Smith.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Glenda Moore of Fort Smith; two sisters, Elesa Hodge and Jennifer Moore, both of Fort Smith; four brothers, Jerry Moore of Keota, Travis, Cleve and Mordecai Moore, all of Fort Smith.

TULSA — Hettie Grigsby Price, 84, of Tulsa died Saturday, May 26, 2001, in Tulsa. She was a homemaker and the widow of Claude William Price.

She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Mosteller of Muldrow, JoAnn Haynes of Tulsa, Linda McCoy of Hindsville, Ark., and Charlie K. Griggs of Muskogee; a son, Jerry Price of Tulsa; 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

KINTA — Bonnie Mae Ford, 70, of Kinta died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Kinta.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler with burial at Quinton City cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Herman; two daughters, Teresa Ann Price of Kinta and Carol Lynn Ford of Laurens, S.C.; a son, Vernon Ray Ford of Kinta; two sisters, Katherene Weathers of Kinta and Juanita Franklin of Quinton; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen and Michael Price, William Deaville, James, Jeremy and Waylon Ferguson.
