MONETTE -- Agnes Christine May, 83, of Monette died Thursday, Oct. 14, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Born at Biggers, she was a homemaker and a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dewayne May of Manila and Franklin May Jr. of Poyen; two daughters, Mary Johnson and Nadine Davis, both of Osceola; a brother, Leamon Gould of Lepanto; two sisters, Beulah Martin of Stuttgart and Betty Dixon of Lepanto; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin May; a son, Herman May; a daughter, Arlene May; three brothers; and a sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, with Steven D. Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
D. Medlock
Debra Sue Medlock, 51, of Paragould died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at her residence.
A native of Craighead County, she was a graduate of Greene County Tech High School, a member of Beta Sigma Phi fraternity and a former owner of J.K. Cody's floral and interior design shop. She was of the Church of Christ belief.
Survivors include two sons, Kelly Jones of Paragould and Cody Oldham of Jonesboro; one daughter, Jennifer Jones of Paragould; her mother, Doris Rains of Paragould; two brothers, Paul Rains and Bobby Rains, both of Paragould; one sister, Alva Shankles of Fordyce; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rains.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Heath Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tommy Toombs and the Rev. J.T. Ashby officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery
at Paragould.
Active pallbearers will include Grayson Daniels, Keith Eddings, Paul Gray, Jonathan Long, Clifton Powers and Dale Walters.
Paul Smith will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Lifehouse Ministry Julie Jones Memorial Fund or the American Heart Association.

JUDSONIA -- Edna Kate Clutter Medlock, 86, of Judsonia, died Thursday, Oct. 14, at Oakdale Nursing Home in Judsonia.
A retired factory worker at Pace Co., she was a member of Bradford Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Margie Bullard of Olyphant, Jeanie Goad of Bradford and Marilyn Amann of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Medlock; one son, James Melvin Medlock; her parents, Ben and Maggie Clutter; four brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bradford Baptist Church under the direction of Dillinger Funeral Home of Newport. The Rev. Tom Lewis will officiate, and burial will follow in Hickmon Cemetery
at Bradford.
Grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Trudy Niederbrach, 73, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Oct. 14, at her home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

WEINER -- LeAnn Danielle Phillips, 33, of Weiner died Wednesday, Oct. 13, near Greenfield.

Robinson
WYNNE -- Deborah Robinson, 44, of Wynne died Monday, Oct. 12, at UAMS Medical Center at Little Rock.
She was an employee at Coachman Inn.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Robinson of Wynne; two sons, Larry Robinson and Derrick Robinson, both of Wynne; a daughter, Jacinda Wallace of Forrest City; two sisters, Dorothy Griffins of Arizona and Brenda Evans of Wynne; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church at Wynne, with the Rev. Cortez Stegall officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Cemetery
at Wynne under the direction of Woodard Funeral Service of Wynne.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Stewart
NEWPORT -- Annie Jean Stewart, 86, of Newport died Thursday, Oct. 14, in Newport.
Born at Oil Trough, she had worked as a capper at Victor Metals for 38 years and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Floyd Wayne Stewart of Yukon, Okla.; a daughter, Bobbi Pollard of Newport; three grandchildren, Stuart Byrd, Paul Stewart and Jeffrey Pollard; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Stewart; her parents, George and Judy Voyles Pegg; one sister; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Jackson's Newport Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Kyler Cemetery
at Southside.
Pallbearers will include Bill Pollard, Tim Shirley, Craig Shirley, Stuart Byrd, Paul Stewart and Jeffery Pollard.

Thomas
BRECKENRIDGE HILLS, Mo. -- Gerald Wayne Thomas, 50, of Breckenridge Hills, Mo., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, in Creve Coeur, Mo.
He was a small engine mechanic and was of the Church of Christ belief.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Lamastus Thomas of the home; four sons, Brian Thomas, Craig Thomas, Keith Thomas and Stephen Thomas, all of St. Louis; one daughter, Emily Thomas of the home; his mother, Dorothy Thomas of Smithville; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Bettis Town Church of Christ near Poughkeepsie, with Jack Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Spotts Cemetery
at Poughkeepsie under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City.
Pallbearers will include Craig Thomas, Stephen Thomas, Tommy Morgan, Mike Stavely, Charles Breckle and Bob Burns.
Honorary pallbearers will include Steve Bailey, Aaron Estes and Ray Gann.
Thompson
ALGOOD, Tenn. -- Virgil Melvin Thompson, 80, of Algood, formerly of Manila, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Master's Health Care Center in Algood.
Born at Pangburn, he had lived in the Little Rock area most of his life and had been a resident of Manila from 1995-2001 before moving to Algood.
He served in the Navy during World War II, was a retired brick mason and was of the Jehovah's Witness belief.
Survivors include a son, Ron Thompson of Livingston, Tenn.; a daughter, JoAnn Robertson of Conway; three sisters, Jewel Calk of Little Rock, Eloise Caples of Sherwood and Charlene House of Jacksonville; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Wilkes Thompson, and his parents.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today in Manila Cemetery, with David Garner officiating. Howard Funeral Service of Manila is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
