Florence M. Allen, age 92, of Benton; passed away Saturday February 19, 2005. She was born on August 18, 1912 in Wilmont, Arkansas. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Marshall Allen and Rev. Lewis Justice will be officiating. Arrangements by Ashby Funeral Home.
LOUIS WALLS, JR.
Louis Allan Walls, Jr., age 26, of Benton; passed away Saturday February 19, 2005. He was born on June 18, 1978 in East Point, Georgia. Louis worked as a C.N.A.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Sue Yeager and husband James R. of Springdale ; father, Louis Allan Walls, Sr. of Tennessee; grandmothers, Billie S. Young of Benton and Dorothy Walls of Tennessee; two sisters, Frances Leann Walls and Ashley Megan Burgos both of Springdale.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Nelan Hester will be officiating.
KENNETH PAGE, SR.
Kenneth Roger Page, Sr., age 69, of Benton; passed away Wednesday February 23, 2005. He was born September 2, 1935 in Benton, Arkansas. Mr. Page was retired from Reynolds Metals as a chemist and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur C. and Urma Sue Page and a daughter, Kelley Page.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Page of Benton; son, Roger Page and wife Pauline of Bauxite; daughter, Michelle Page of Malvern; step-son, Kyle Rea of Benton; two step-daughters, Donna Simmons of Benton and Sharon Duvall of Tull; five brothers and sisters, Wilbur Page, Jr. of Little Rock, Linda Nelson of Denver City, Texas, Brent Page of South Carolina, Mary Lou Smiley of Glenwood and Larry Page of Roland; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Brooks Bethel Baptist Church in Alexander.
CHARITY HUMPHREY
Charity Elizabeth Humphrey, age 28, of Beebe; passed away Sunday February 20, 2005. She was born on May 3, 1976 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Charity graduated from Benton High School in 1994, earned an academic scholarship to the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, graduating cum laude and in the top five of her class in the College of Applied Life Sciences. She was active in student government and did volunteer work in the Catholic Hospital and in the Meals on Wheels program in Lafayette. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benton.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Dennis Humphrey; daughter, Emily Humphrey; son, Jared Humphrey all of Beebe; mother, Dean Davis and husband Jim of Benton; father, Fred Pohnka and wife Martha of Maumelle; grandmother, Ruby Higgs of Jacksonville; sister, April Ashworth, half-sister, Pricilla Pohnka all of Sherwood; two step-brothers, Doug Davis of Conway and Don Davis of Ft. Scott, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Ashby Funeral Home.
JEAN SPEED
Mrs. Jean Speed, age 73, of Benton died February 22, 2005 at Saline Memorial Hospital. She was born February 7, 1932 in Hempstead County to the late Sylvester and Arbra Carman and was retired from Arkansas Health Center. Mrs. Speed was preceded in death by her husband, A. B. Speed, brother, William Robert Carman.
Survivors, sisters, Bobbie Lancaster, Delonga, Georgia; Virginia Smith, Beaufort, South Carolina; Janelle Lapaglia, Nixa, Missouri; brothers, Winford Carman, Traskwood; Bill Carman, Benton; Don Carman, Benton; Manuel Carman, Bismarck; step-daughter, Charlotte Swearigan, Mississippi.
Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Mt. Harmony Cemetery. Minister will be Bro. Robert Christian.

TEDFORD SMITH
Tedford Sidney Smith, age 69, of Lonsdale; passed away Saturday October 15, 2005. He was born on October 30, 1935 in McCrory, Arkansas. Mr. Smith was a heavy equipment operator and of the Missionary Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Florence Smith and a grandson, T. J. Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. Smith of Lonsdale; four sons, Jimmy Dale Smith and wife Esta of Lonsdale, Michael Dewayne Smith of Dallas, Texas, Tedford Smith, Jr. and wife Judy of Hot Springs and Terry Joe Smith and wife Deann of Hot Springs; three daughters, Bonnie Elizabeth Romanski and husband Casey of Plano, Texas, Debra Lucille Marshall and husband Tim of Benton and Lisa Gail Dickens and husband David of Lonsdale; two brothers, Elige B. Smith of Lonsdale and Jack M. Smith of Paron; three sisters, Peggy Dalton of Kentucky, Marry Modlin of Kentucky and Susie Loyd of Tennessee; seven grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

CHARLES NICKLAUS
Charles L. Nicklaus, 78 of Haskell-Benton died Saturday, October 15, 2005 at his home. He was born February 3, 1927 in Scott, Ar. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in WW II. He was a member of the American legion.
He is survived by one Son; Charles Fred Nicklaus, one daughter; Janis Polston, six step-children; Charles Gray, Johnny Gray, Jackie Gray, Patricia Gray, Shiela Gray, Lola Gray, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 4:00 P.M. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Curtis Kyle officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Nicklaus, Chris Nicklaus, Tyler Robinette, Cord Nicklaus, Paul Ruddick, and Robbie Robertson.
MR. CARY MARK HUNNICUTT
Mr. Cary Mark Hunnicutt, age 45, of Benton died Tuesday October 18, 2005. He was born June 27, 1960 in Benton. Mr. Hunnicutt was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Hunnicutt.

James Ernest Ceal Weeks, Jr. 75, of Benton, passed away Wednesday October 19, 2005. He was born June 26, 1930 to the late James Ernest Ceal Weeks, Sr. and Henrietta Forsyth Weeks in Beebe, Arkansas. Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy.
Survivors, sons, James Eli Weeks, Mabelvale; John Timothy Weeks, Mabelvale; Roger DeWayne Weeks, Conway; daughters, Barbara Withem, Benton; Sandra Thomas, Sheridan; three brothers, one sister, fifteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Pinecrest Cemetery. Minister will be Rev. Carroll Reed.

LUCY SHELTON
Lucy P. Shelton, 76 of Benton died October 11, 2005 in Little Rock, Ar. She was born in Webster County, Georgia. She was a Pentecostal. She was preceded in death by her husband; Coy Leon Shelton, her parents; Martin and Lula McCall, and two brothers-Clarence McCall, and J.C. McCall.
She is Survived by three sons; Ronnie Wayne Adams, of Alabama, Charles Shelton of Conway, Ar, and Robert Eugene Shelton of Little Rock, Ar, her daughters; Alice Shelton of Alexander, Ar, and Mildred Augustine of Riverfalls, Wisconsin, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a special friend; Johnny Hill of Benton.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Burden officiating. Burial will be in New Rosemont Cemetery.
MARGE MORRIS
Margie Inez Morris, age 90, of Alexander; passed away Thursday October 13, 2005. She was born on July 14, 1915 in Senath, Missouri. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Carrie Crosland and a son, Shirley Wayne Morris of Dumas.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, David Wister Morris of Alexander; three sons, Wister A. Morris of Alexander, William (Bill) Morris of Alexander and Gene A. Morris of Lancaster, Texas; daughter, Dorothy A. Rooks of Little Rock; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Rooks, Wister Morris, Gene Morris, William (Bill) Morris, David Morris and Roy Morris.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Ashby Funeral Home.

GERALD L. CLIFT
Gerald L. Clift, age 64, of Traskwood; passed away Friday October 14, 2005. He was born on June 7, 1941 in Malvern, Arkansas. Mr. Clift was retired from Reynolds Metals and served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and the Brumbelow Creek Hunting Club. Mr. Clift was preceded in death by his parents, Coulter and Aline Clift and three brothers, Edward, James and Jerry Lynn Clift.
He is survived by his wife, LaVoye Clift of Traskwood; three sons, Scott Clift and wife Shelly of Rayburn Creek, Jimmy Clift and wife Ruth of Gifford and Mark Clift of Traskwood; brother, Albert Clift of Malvern; two sisters, Mary Perry and Ann Whitley both of Gifford and five grandchildren, Tyler Clift, Tori Clift, Hope Clift, Jill Saunders and Billy Trammel.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night at Ashby Funeral Home.

LUKE RAMSEY, JR.
Luke Ivan Ramsey, Jr. 69, of Benton, passed away December 12, 2005. He was born October 30, 1936 in Alexander, Arkansas to the late Luke Ivan and Mary Bishop Ramsey.
Luke was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and served 20 years in the United States Air Force.
Survivors are wife, Betty Ann Ramsey, son, Luke Ivan Ramsey, III of Lompoc, California, daughters, Lou Ann Turri of Lompoc, California, Cheryl Mari Brooks of Benton, brother, David Ramsey of Benton, and sister, Barbara Mefford, Rapid City, South Dakota and eight grandchildren.
Memorial service by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Ashbys with Entombment at the Little Rock Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church building fund.
MARY CLIFT
Mary E. Raper Clift, age 89, of Benton; passed away Tuesday December 13, 2005. She was born on September 28, 1916 in Benton, Arkansas. Mrs. Clift was a retired Dietary Aide A2 at the Benton Service Center and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eula Mason; husbands, Allen Raper and Sampie Clift; son, Charles Raper; daughter, Jenetta Pruitt; step-sons, Wayne Raper and Kenneth Raper; step-daughter, Geraldine Hunnicutt and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Alma Raper of Benton ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a dear friend and caregiver, Gene Walker and Dan Scott.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at Ashby Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Harmony Cemetery. Arrangements by Ashby Funeral Home.

Cola K. Crabb, age 90, of Bauxite; passed away Tuesday December 13, 2005. She was born on May 8, 1915 in Mabelvale, Arkansas. Mrs. Crabb was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley King; husbands, Emmit Jolly and Jessel Crabb; children, Wanda Hardin and Larry Crabb and a grandson, Dennis Hines.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Hines and husband Jim, Jerry Crabb and wife Cindy, Gary Crabb and wife BJ, Joe Bob Crabb and wife Gay; siblings, Leona Michaels, Bobby King, Doris Franklin and Peggy Venable; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
