Ronald “Ronnie” V. Jones
Ronald “Ronnie” V. Jones, age 62, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at his home.
Ronnie was born on December 8, 1950 in De Queen and was a retired employee of the De Queen and Eastern Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harmon W. and Pat McKaughan Jones; one sister, Theressa McGaha and a brother, Bill Jones.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Kathleen Jones of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Lisa Jones of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law; Sarah and Jeremy Adams of Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Damon Swan of Tyler, Texas; seven grandchildren, Abigail Jones, David and John Adams, Peyton Lowery and Tayden, Rowdy and Tallan Brantley.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Good News Fellowship Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Doug Deramus officiating.
Mrs. Carolyn Lee Kerley “Carol” Reeves
Mrs. Carolyn Lee Kerley “Carol” Reeves, age 68, a resident of Fouke, Arkansas, and former resident of Lockesburg, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, in Christus St. Michael Health System.
She was born to Oner Iven and Estell Oketa Montgomery Kerley at Brownwood, Texas on February 24, 1945. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed painting, and reading.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Bill Reeves.
She is survived by one son, Glynn Sears of Laguna Park, Texas, and Angela Householder of Laguna Park, Texas, two grandchildren, Kaitlin Kendrick and Madison Kendrick, a brother and sister-in-law, Maloye and Marie Kerley of Midlothian, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Carol Reeves will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, May 20th in the Bellville Cemetery, Lockesburg, with Bro. Wesley Blankenship officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
Verna Lynn Rivers
Verna Lynn Rivers, age 75, a resident of De Queen, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, in the De Queen Medical Center.
She was born October 5, 1937, in Okemah, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Mrs. Rivers was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Leon Rivers and one grandson, Brody Green.
She is survived by one son, Johnny Rivers of Foreman, Arkansas; two daughters, Rene Green of Hooks, Texas and Yvonne Rivers of De Queen; 6 grandchildren, Jeromy Green, Jennifer Barton, Michael Green, Shawna Royal, Zack Rivers and Seth Rivers and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25th at the funeral home in De Queen.

Alfonso Loredo Vasquez
Alfonso Loredo Vasquez, age 71, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Friday, May 3, 2013, in Detroit. Michigan.
He was born September 15, 1941 in Mexico. He was retired from Tyson Foods and enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Loredo and Narcisa Vasquez.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sally Loredo and Israel Gonzalez of De Queen and Nancy De La Rosa of Mexico City, Mexico; five grandchildren, Lexie Velazquez, Lessley Gonzalez, Nicholas Gonzalez, Diego De La Rosa and Mariana De La Rosa; and several brothers and sisters in Mexico and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Eduardo Abril officiating. Cremation will follow.
Maria Guadalupe Ramirez
Maria Guadalupe Ramirez infant daughter of Jose Enrique and Rosa Maria Fraire Ramirez, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at UAMS in Little Rock.
She is survived by her parents; two sisters, Nadia and Carolina Ramirez; paternal grandparents, Jose Ramirez and Carolina Gallardo; maternal grandparents, Guillerno Fraire and Monica Martinez and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. William Clinton “Willie” Wray
Mr. William Clinton “Willie” Wray, age 54, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Monday, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was born to James David and Shirley Mae Smith Wray at De Queen, Arkansas, on June 30, 1958. He was an employee of TDS Erectors and Crane Service in Ashdown, and was a Christian. He enjoyed race cars, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Lee Wray of Lockesburg, a daughter and son-in-law, Elisha and Corey Stone of Ashdown, a son and daughter-in-law, William and Erin Wray of Texarkana, Texas, his mother, Shirley Wray of Ashdown, three grandchildren, Weston Lawrence, Carter Stone, and Kinley Wray, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Glenna Mae Mears of Ashdown, and Pat and Gale Wright of Ashdown, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Willie Wray will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 16th in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, De Queen with Bro. Jerrel Helms officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Chandler Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M

Mrs. Emma Jene Shirey, age 86, of Foreman, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 10th in the Ashdown Nursing Home.
She was born January, 7, 1927 in Carlise, PA. and was a Protestant.
Mrs. Shirey was preceded in death by her husband Earl Shirey and her parents.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Dan Linke of Foreman, Arkansas, and Jdy Messer of South Carolina; two sisters, Mary Jane Emmlet of York Springs, PA, and Helen Niedig of Machaniceburg, PA; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Clara Lee "Sweet Granny" Sims Williamson, age 87, a lifelong resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her home.
She was born April 1, 1926 in Horatio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Williamson Community Church.
Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Martha Lee Sims; her husband, Herbert Cooper Williamson; two brothers, one sister, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by one son, Ed (Jonnie) Williamson of Horatio; six daughters, Mary Jane (Jimmy) Woodall, Pat (Danny) Black, Diane Lightfoot, Bobbie (Ricky) Sexton, Debbie (Larry) Sadler and Barbara Klitz, all of Horatio; two sisters, Martha Westbrook of Broken Bow, OK and Letha Langford of Pasadena, TX; one brother, Cotton Sims of Ashdown, AR; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Dwight Murphy and Mickey Leverett.

Debra Kay Kesterson Perez, age 55, a resident of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, May 13, 2013 in the Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana.
She was born January 8, 1958, in De Queen. She was a cook.
Mrs. Perez was preceded in death by her parents, William Olen and Marilyn Faye Smith Kesterson and one brother, Benny Kesterson.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Perez of Texarkana; one daughter, Ann Michelle Whisenhunt of Blairs Town, New Jersey; one son, Rodney D. Whisenhunt of Centerpoint, Arkansas; one brother, William Sherrill Kesterson of Lockesburg, Arkansas; two sisters, Sherri Schoolfield and Sandra Kesterson of Chickasha, Oklahoma; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Frankie Joe Myers, Sr.
Mr. Frankie Joe Myers, Sr., age 72, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Saturday, May 11th at his home.
He was born to Joseph Franklin and Rosetta Joann Brown Myers on December 14, 1940, in Sayre, Oklahoma. He was retired from Weyerhaeuser Company at the Dierks Mill, and was a Methodist. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and nine siblings.
He is survived by his wife of almost 46 years, Mary Juanita Wilson Myers of Horatio, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joe Jr., and Kerri Myers of Huntsville, Ark., and David Dewayne Myers of Horatio, one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Michelle and Roger Lee Priddy of Dierks, four grandchildren, Justin Cole Myers, Allison Brooke Myers, Taylor Allen and Gracie Jo Allen, two brothers, Floyd David Lee of Joplin, Montana, and George Edward Myers, of Hobart, Oklahoma, one sister, Hazel Zink of Missouri, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Frankie Myers will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 13th in Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Crumbly officiating. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, May 12th.
Barbara Ann Fowler Neathery
Barbara Ann Fowler Neathery, age 73, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at her home.
She was born April 21, 1940 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a retired cook for Western Sizzlin in De Queen. She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizen Center and playing cards. She attended the Kern Heights Baptist Church in De Queen.
Ms. Neathery was preceded in death by her parents, Walter A. Fowler, Sr. and Ida Bell Robinson Perryman; a grandchild, Christopher “Smiley” McArter; two sisters, Georgia Neal and Wanda L. Crown; three brothers, Walter A. Fowler, Jr., Freddie Lee Fowler and Robert C. Perryman.
She is survived by three children, Margaret Ann MCarter of Canton, Texas, Randal Scot Neatherly and his wife, Tana of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Angela Kay Southerland of Lockesburg, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Stephen Lee McArter, Jamie Ann Lester, Matthew McArter, Blake Ann Neathery, Scot Jr., Jacob Neathery, Tiffany M. Southerland, Jeffrey Southerland and Tenescha L. Wilkerson; and many nieces and nephews.
