Mr. William Francis Robertson

Mr. William Francis Robertson, age 65, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Father on Saturday, April 20, 2013.

He was born to James V. and Lois Virginia Randall Robertson at Fort Smith, Arkansas on June 17, 1947. He was a veteran of the Vietname War, serving with the U. S. Navy, and was a mechanic. He was a Baptist, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Lois V. Smith of Wickes, two sons, Kenneth Robertson of Poteau, Okla., and Russell Robertson of Ohio, one daughter, Kimberly Archey of Shady Point, Okla, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchildren, three sisters, Verna Mae Cable and Martha Ann McClenden both of Fort Smith, and Virginia Ann English of Dora, Ark., and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in the First Baptist Church of Wickes, with Rev. Scott Ray officiating. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.

Mrs. Bernardine M. Limbordo Brown

Mrs. Bernardine M. Limbordo Brown, age 72, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Friday, April 19, 2013 in Brookewood Nursing & Rehab.

She was born to Pete and Lillian Comotto Limbordo in Albany, California, on April 11, 1941. She was a homemaker, and Catholic. She enjoyed painting, crafting, and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, LeRoy Robert Limbordo, and her husband, Robert Dale Brown, Sr.

She is survived by a son, Robert Dale Brown, Jr. of Grady, Ark, a daughter, Darla Sullivan of Springdale, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Sheena and her husband, Justin Brown, Madison Sullivan, and Brittney Sullivan all of Springdale, Ark., a great-grandson, Joshua Brown of Springdale, Ark.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Bernardine Brown will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 21st in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen

Mary Catherine White Holmes

Mrs. Mary Catherine White Holmes, age 88, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died on Thursday, April 18, 2013, in Brookewood Nursing & Rehab.

She was born to Edward Garfield and Oleiva Ann Pierre White in Hawarden, Iowa, on June 18, 1924. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, 4-H, Band concerts, football, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earnest William Holmes, and a step-daughter, Patricia Brenner.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Jan Holmes of Benton, Arkansas, Four daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and James Hettinger of Benton, Arkansas, Rita and John Cox of Holt, Missouri, Terrie and Robert Williams of Texarkana, and Nola and Roger Hall of De Queen, one brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Jean White of Hawarden, Iowa, eleven grandchildren, David, Dennis, and Sherry Duncan and Mike and Kevin Cox of Kansas City, Missouri, Christopher and Joshua Holmes of Benton, Arkansas, Yolanda Campell Hetrick of Noblesville, Indiana, Blake Campell of Texarkana, Brad Hall of Rosston, Arkansas, and Windee Hall Cole of De Queen, and a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mary Holmes will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 22nd the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Avon Cemetery, De Queen. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Sunday, April 21st from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.

Aubrey Leon Fatherree

Mr. Aubrey Leon Fatherree, age 65, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, died Monday, April 15, 2013 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

He was born January 4, 1948 in Mineral Springs, AR. He was a retired truck driver and attended the Newhope Freewill Baptist Church.

Mr. Fatherree was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Ruby Fatherree; his wife, Wanda Faye Fatherree and two grandchildren, Brendon Glasgow and Hayden Lemons.

He is survived by three sons, Leonard Null, Avery Fatherree and Jasper Fatherree; three daughters, Michelle Shock, Shana Kesterson and Barbara Godwin all of Dierks, AR; four brothers, Larry Fatherree of Mineral Springs, AR, Terry Fatherree, Robert Fatherree and Charles Fatherree all of Nashville, AR; two sisters, Sandra Couch of Nashville, AR and Freda Morris of Missouri; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mr. Fatherree will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 in the Newhope Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Vaughn officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, April 19th at the funeral home in Dierks.

Harold Dean Dunn

Mr. Harold Dean Dunn, age 69, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Friday, April 12th in the De Queen Medical Center, De Queen.

He was born to Harley and Sadie Dunn in Frontier County, Nebraska on May 15, 1943. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, and was a Baptist. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie Raylene Trickel Dunn of Horatio, four sons, Darryl Arrellano and Michael Wade Dunn both of Denver, Col., Michael Dean Dunn and Travis Wayne Dunn both of Horatio, five daughters, Darlene A. Arrellano of Pueblo, Col., Brenda Ortiz of New Mexico, Lisa Marie Benefield of Illinois, Tracie Deann Garber of Denver, Col., and Alyssa Dunn of Horatio, one brother, Harvey Dunn of Nebraska, two sisters, Ruth Brown of Nebraska, and Norma Lund of Florida, and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Harold Dunn will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 19th In Redmen Cemetery with Rev. Tim Johnson officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Bobby Dale Martz

Bobby Dale Martz, age 63, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his home.

He was born March 7, 1950, in Lockesburg where he was born and raised. He was a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising chickens. He also enjoyed spending time with family and loved his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and in recent years held a special place in his heart.

Mr. Martz was preceded in death by his father, Hollis Everette Martz.

He is survived by his mother, Ina Ruth Sharp Martz of Lockesburg; six children, Robert Martz, Rachel Skelton, Rhonda Dean, Jody Roberts, Angela Martz and Terria Martz all of Lockesburg; three brothers and two sisters; Hollis Martz of Lockesburg, Jetty Caple of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Phillip Martz and James Martz both of Lockesburg and Anita Helms of Provo; fourteen grandchildren and other relatives, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2013 in the Belleville Cemetery in Lockesburg with Rev. Jerrell Helms officiating.

Mr. Gerald Wayne Petross

Mr. Gerald Wayne Petross, age 71, a lifelong resident of Wickes, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 10th in the De Queen Medical Center.

He was born to Edkar Leroy “Roy” and Opal Estelene Bingham Petross in Wickes, Arkansas, on July 21, 1941. He worked as supervisor of the grow out for Lane Poultry, operated a clean out crew, and later was a poultry farmer. Gerald was of the Christian Faith, and was devoted to his family. He enjoyed rock hunting, antiquing, old tools, wood working, hunting deer, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Carol Petross of Wickes, a son and daughter-in-law, Cameron and Tonya Petross of De Queen, and a daughter and son-in-law, Renae and Petey Chambless of Lonoke, Arkansas, five grandchildren, James Key Chambless, Kelsi and Kaleb Petross, Lacey and her husband, Michael Kennedy, and Colton Brakeville, as well as one great-granddaughter, Addison Holland.

Funeral Services for Mr. Gerald Petross will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 13, 2013, in the Church of The Nazarene of Wickes with Bro. Leon McCleskey and Bro. Don Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in the Crystal Hill Cemetery, Wickes, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.

Billy Joe Crawford

Billy Joe Crawford, age 62, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, in the Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born April 2, 1951, in Cuba, New Mexico. He was a machinist for Suttle Equipment, a member of the First Baptist Church in Lockesburg and a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam.

Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his father, Jack Lee Crawford.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Hodges Crawford; his mother, Leoda Edwards Crawford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Carla Crawford and Mark and Krystal Crawford; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ray Hargrove; six grandchildren, Matthew Lovell, Jason Crawford, Kevin Crawford, Rachel Parish, Chase Parish and Tanner Parish all of Lockesburg; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services for Mr. Crawford will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013, in the First Baptist Church in Lockesburg with Harley Patterson, Jack Gilliland and Jerrell Helms officiating. Burial will follow in the Coulter Memorial Gardens in Lockesburg, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 12th at the funeral home

Mr. Eddie Lee Carver

Eddie Lee Carver was born on January 5, 1932 at the Falls Chapel community where he lived his entire life. He went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2013. Ed was a lifetime member of the Falls Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian church. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the Army, worked as a carpenter, worked on the pipeline, and retired from the Ashdown Paper Mill. He enjoyed spending time with his children, especially his grandchildren, family and friends. His favorite place to be was working in the shop, helping others, watching his grandson and other family at the race track, and playing with his grandchildren, and deer hunting with the family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Lee Carver and Mary Etta Brooks Carver, brothers and sisters: John Brooks Carver, Ida Faye Vann, Mary Lucy Carver, and Raymond “Punk” Carver.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Emma Ruth Carver. Two boys: Lee Todd Carver Sr. and Kim Carver; Paul Lance Carver and Brandie Carver. Three grandchildren: Cicyli Lane King and Mark King; Lee Todd Carver Jr. and Camillia Carver, and Catlin Nicole Carver. Four great-grandchildren: Thomas Isaac Brown, Masea Jade Billingsley, Trayton Ray Carver, and Emma Leigh Carver. Siblings: Betty Crow, Hugh Carver, Tommy Carver, Sarah Smart and Laura Jones, many special nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at the Falls Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian church at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, with Bro. Kenny Polk, and Ann Holley officiating. Burial will follow at the Falls Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be open. The family will be at the home of Lance and Brandie Carver, Cypress Road in Falls Chapel.

Mrs. Dena Jo Lyle Rodriguez

Mrs. Dena Jo Lyle Rodriguez, age 50, a resident of Grannis, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 in the Mena Regional Health System.

She was born to Jimmie Joe and Joyce Omega Mayo Lyle at De Queen, Arkansas on March 31, 1963. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Wickes, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, sports, butterflies, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Judy Martin, and a brother-in-law, James Walker.

She is survived by her husband, Cesar Rodriguez of Grannis, three sons, Anthony Higgins, Joey Higgins both of Grannis, and Jeremy Miranda of Wickes, a daughter, Sabrina Miranda of Grannis, two grandchildren, Callie Jo and Christian. She is also survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet Walker of Grannis, Rhonda and Terry Holman and Bonita and Earl Flint all of Wickes, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dena Rodriguez will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 11th in the Pentecostal Church of God in Wickes, Ark. with Bro. Chris Burke, and Bro. Larry Seabolt officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery, Wickes, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home

Mrs. Anna Price

Mrs. Anna Ruth Wheeler Price, age 92, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, and former resident of Lewisville, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her home.

She was born to Guy and Edna Louisa Rosencrance Wheeler in McBain, Michigan on March 3, 1921. She was retired from the Galion Memorial Hospital at Galion, Ohio, as well as a homemaker. She attended the First Baptist Church, and was a member of the De Queen Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, and was an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Claude Wheeler, Albert Wheeler, and Bertha Wheeler, and her husbands, Arthur Baddeley and Dick Price.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Gertrude Arnold of Cardington, Ohio, and Donald Baddeley of De Queen, two daughters and sons-in-law, Georgia Campbell and Jewels Myers of Lewisville, Arkansas, and Charlotte and Bill Lee of De Queen; thirteen grandchildren, Mark, John, Jeffery, Cheryl, Diane, Jimmy, Denise, Harmony, Tiffany, Carrie, Tonya, Billy and Elizabeth; thirty-three great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Price is also survived by two brothers, David Wheeler of Kanapolis, North Carolina, and Warren Wheeler, and his wife, Noni of Marengo, Ohio, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Anna Price will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 11th in Redmen Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Campbell officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 10th at Chandler Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
