Ronnie "Hacksaw" Mounts
Ronnie "Hacksaw" Mounts, age 56, of Newhope, died Sunday, January 20, 2013.
He was born on March 23, 1956, at De Queen, the son of Wilburn Mounts and Elberteen Pate Mounts.
On November 4, 1978, he was married to Becky Jester.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his father-in-law, Deloy Jester.
He was a logger, a Christian and a member of the Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Mounts of Newhope; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nic and Michelle Mounts of Glenwood and Todd and Shanna Mounts of Dierks; one daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Barry Tolleson of Kirby; eight grandchildren, Hannah, Tripp, Kason, Karter, Adi, Gus, Bo and Sadie; three brothers, Terry Mounts, Jerry Mounts and his twin, Donnie Mounts, all of Dierks; and his mother-in-law, Ceola Jester of Newhope.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 23, 2013, in the Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Kenny Fant and Bro. Raymond Dees officiating.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery
under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Hill, Joe Hill, Jackie Jones, James Sebren, Rhodie Romine and Mark Story.
Roy Page Dolph
Mr. Roy Page Dolph, age 95, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 22nd In the De Queen Medical Center, De Queen.
He was born to Charles Asken and Woodie Mae Hale Dolph at Oil City, Louisiana, on April 4, 1917. He was a retired conductor for the Kansas City Southern Railroad with 43 years of service.
Mr. Dolph was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Frances Dolph, and all his siblings, Jesse James Dolph, Clyde Dolph, Marguerite Grace, and Juanita Hibbs, and his son-in-law, Jerry Jones.
He is surived by his wife of over 37 years, Bea Dolph of De Queen, four daughters and their spouses, Betty Dolph and Randy McCain of Shreveport, Louisiana, Martee Dolph Guess of Bossier City, La., Glenda McLarty and Lyde Williams, Jr. of De Queen, and Janice McLarty Jones of Bloomburg, Texas, seven grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer McCain of Spokane, Washington, Erin and Bill Fegley of Shreveport, Louisiana., Lindsey and Adam Molloy of Manville, Texas, Teresa and Rodger Neeley of De Queen, Chrystal and Brian Walthour of De Queen, Tracy and Jenna Jones of Haughton, Louisiana, and Patricia Currie of Cheyenne, Wyoming, eleven great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Page Dolph will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 24th in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Benjamin Neeley and Bobby Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Frank Herman Davis
Mr. Frank Herman Davis, age 93, a resident of De Queen, died Monday, January 21, 2013, in the De Queen Medical Center.
He was born to Harry Charles and Ella Nora Keeton Davis at Mena, Arkansas. He was a veteran of World War II, and the Korean Conflict, retiring from the U. S. Navy with 20 years service. He attended the First Baptist Church of De Queen, and was a Mason. He enjoyed fishing and watching baseball.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mozelle Pride Davis in 2004. He is also preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Jack, Charles, Harold and Don Davis, Juanita Davis, Wanda Stumph, and Betty Ann Johnson.
He is survived by a step-son, Steven R. Bowser of Phoenix, Arizona, and two brothers, Gene Davis of De Queen, and Wesley Davis of Houston, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 25th in the Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, Arkansas, with Rev. Randy Davis officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
Kelly Blake Casteel
Kelly Blake Casteel infant daughter of Heath and Brooke Casteel passed from this life on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
She was born on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in Dallas.
Kelly was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Irene Rush; great grandparents, Shorty and Sadie Casteel and uncle, Bradley Damron.
She is survived by her parents; her grandparents, Bill and Brenda Damron of San Marcos, Texas and Paul and JoAnn Casteel of Horatio, Arkansas; her great grandparents, Charles and Betty Damron of Temple, Texas, L.C. Rush of Markham, Texas and Bill and Ruthie Pogue of Horatio, Arkansas; uncle, Blake Damron of Dallas, Texas and uncle and aunt, Doug and Sarah Casteel of Horatio; and a number of great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Wanda Lou Simmons Gross
Mrs. Wanda Lou Simmons Gross, age 74, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Friday, January 18, 2013 at her home.
She was born on July 1, 1938 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She was retired from Pilgrim’s Pride.
Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Mary James Simmons.
She is survived by her husband, Mack Gross of De Queen, Arkansas; one daughter, Mary White also of De Queen, Arkansas; one sister, Martha Lopez of Eureka, California; three grandchildren, Teresa Cannon and Andrew Hernandez both of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Keith White II of De Queen, Arkansas; and eight great-grandchildren, Kellie Dowell and Cassandra Hernandez both of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Dalton Dowell, Krista Cook, Austin Cannon, Mario Ponce, Maleah White and Surie White all of De Queen, Arkansas.
A memorial service for Mrs. Gross will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Lyle officiating.
Peggy Louise Jackson Williams
Mrs. Peggy Louise Jackson Williams, age 59, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas died Friday, January 18, 2013 at her home.
She was born on December 16, 1953 in Foreman, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and business owner. She attended Nix Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman “Dick” Jackson and Helen Faye Miller Lambert and two sisters, Linda Davis and Nancy Cubbage.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert “Junior” Williams of Dierks, Arkansas; one daughter, Kay Taylor of Benton, Arkansas; one son Jackie Ray McKnight of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Brandi Foster of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother, Ken Jackson of Dierks, Arkansas; two sisters, Marlynn Wallace and Donna Butler both of Dierks, Arkansas and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Williams will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks with Rev. Ann Holley officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Dierks.
Zeola Nelson Geiger
Mrs. Zeola Nelson Geiger, age 101, a resident of Hot Springs, and former resident of Wilton, Ark., died Tuesday, January 15th in Hot Springs.
She was born April 25, 1911, to Lewis and Mary Frances White Nelson in Lockesburg, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Evergreen Church of God in Christ in Wilton, Ark. She enjoyed fishing, reading the Bible, quilting, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, thirteen siblings, her husband, Cleaotis Geiger, a son, Bobby J. Geiger, and a daughter, Thelma Boston.
She is survived by one sister, Mildred Nelson of Lockesburg, three sons and daughters-in-law, Halton and Roberta Geiger of Dallas, Texas, Curtis Geiger of Wilton, Ark., and Howard and Renee Geiger of DeSoto, Texas, three daughters and sons-in-law, Eddnenta and Herman Thompson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Hazel and James Tookes of Madison, Wisconsin, and Ethel and Harvey Hammocks of Hot Springs, Ark., 33 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Zeola Geiger will be held on Monday, January 21st at 11:00 A.M., in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lockesburg, with Rev. Rufus Robinson and Rev. Robert Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Community Cemetery, Lockesburg, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Sunday, January 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Randall Lee Hughes
Randall Lee Hughes, age 33, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Saturday, January 12, 2013.
He was born November 16, 1979 in Mena, Arkansas.
Randall is survived by his parents, Arvel Steve Hughes II and Peggy Arlene Davis, both of Lockesburg, Arkansas; one sister, Rebecca Hughes of Camden, Arkansas; two brothers, Lloyd Hughes of Saratoga, Arkansas and Arvel Steve Hughes III of Lockesburg; his grandmother, Elna Davis of Hanford, California and a number of aunts and uncles.

with Elder Jerry Brazeal officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
Anna Beth Tollett
Mrs. Anna Beth Tollett, age 98, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas died Monday, January 14, 2013 in the Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville.
She was born on April 21, 1914 in Granger, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Tollett was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Granger Webb and Alia Webb Bagley, her husband, Henry Luther Tollett and one son-in-law, Jim King.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Diane Tollett of Dierks; one daughter, Kay King of Dierks; five grandchildren, Steven Tollett, Susan Tollett, Brian King, Jason King and Kristi Janes; six great-grandchildren, Josh Tollett, Jake Tollett, Luke Tollett, Brody King, Allison King and Caleb King.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Tollett will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Fellowship Cemetery
with Brother Chuck Reel and Brother Gary Welch officiating and under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
