Loretta Marie Young Rowell
Mrs. Loretta Marie Young Rowell, age 63, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at her home.
She was born to Charlie and Bessie Lee Jones Young at Idabel, Oklahoma, on December 19, 1948. She was a Certified Nurse Assistant, as well as a homemaker. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church, and enjoyed fishing, and board games.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rowell, Sr., her parents, and several siblings.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Roy, Jr. and Benita Rowell of De Queen; one daughter and a son-in-law, Vivian and J. R. Green of Lockesburg, Ark., two step-sons, Harvey “PeeWee” and and his wife, Brenda Rowell of Noxon, Montana, Scott Rowell of Odessa, Texas, one step-daughter, Sherry Land Watts of Wickes, One grandchild, and Roy Rowell, III; four step-grandchildren, Tonya Olalda, Timmy Land, Ashley Watts, Dakota Watts, two step great-grandchildren, four sisters, Juanita Cox of Benton, Arkansas, Mary Nowell, and Margie McNeal both of Texas, and Evelyn Young of Pleasant Hill, Okla. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Loretta Rowell will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 in the Belleville Cemetery
with Bro. Wallace Wooten officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Sunday, May 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
James Thomas “Jamie” Taylor
Mr. James Thomas “Jamie” Taylor, age 66, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at his home.
He was born to Elve C. and Inez B. Young Taylor at De Queen, Arkansas, on February 4, 1946. He was a veteran of the Vietname War, having served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church and a member of the Gideon’s International Camp #U03027. He was owner and operator of JT’s Dozer, Inc, as well as a building contractor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and serving the Lord..
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. “Sandy” Taylor of Lockesburg, two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Teresa Taylor of Horatio, Chris and Loni Taylor of Luther, Oklahoma, a daughter and son-in-law, DeAnn and Joe Weatherly of Denton, Texas, his mother, Inez B. Taylor of Lockesburg, Ark. four sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol Bishop, Anita and Kurt Farquhar both of Lockesburg, Leesa and Wayne Kemp of Ashdown, and Lucy and Jimmy Mize of Ben Lomond, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Beau, Corley, Heath, Olivia, Mitch, Taylor, and Jason, one unborn grandchild, Adeline, two great-grandchildren, Jason, and Kiara, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Jamie Taylor will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. DeWayne Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellville Cemetery, Lockesburg, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Jackie Wayne Dinger
Mr. Jackie Wayne Dinger, age 70, a resident of De Queen, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at his home.
He was born December 11, 1941 in De Queen. He was retired from the U.S. Army.
Mr. Dinger was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Eula Smith Dinger; two brothers, Frank Dinger and Bobby Dinger and two sisters, Peggy Deer and Evelyn Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Edna Marie Frasch Dinger of De Queen; one son, Mark Dinger of Texarkana, Arkansas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Alice Marie and Jimmy Box of Panama, Oklahoma and Dawn Ann Tutton of Poteau, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Randy Wayne Sims, Jesse Andrew Sims, Dustin Wayne Dinger, Taylor Nichole Tutton, Timothy U. Tutton, Megan June Marie Sims and Caleb Wayne Kissinger; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jeannine and David Nickerson, Helen and Don McGalliard and Marty Munoz; one brother, Billy Dinger; three brothers-in-law, Jack Hill, David and Don; one sister-in-law, Betty Dinger and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Memorial Service for Mr. Dinger will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012 in the Sweet Home Cemetery
in De Queen with Shane Haarmeyer officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
Jenny Rausch
Jennifer (Jenny) Elizabeth Rausch died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Telluride, Colorado at age 27.
She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on July 3 1984. Jenny grew up in Rogers Arkansas.
She is survived by her parents, Earl and Anita Rausch of Rogers; one sister, Lisa Rausch of Washington DC; Grandparents, Bennie and Sue Rausch of Ratcliff, Arkansas; Laverne Robertson of Cordova, Tennessee. She loved to travel and enjoyed much of that during her short life. Jenny left us much too soon, but those who knew her will treasure the memories she left with us.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at Green's Chapel Cemetery
under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas with the Reverend Bobby Neal officiating.
Evona Christeen Owen
Evona Christeen Owen, age 57, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at her home.
She was born February 7, 1955 in Bache, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and attended the First Pentecostal Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Howard and Margaret Christeen Lay Goss; her husband, Michael Owen and one brother, Dwayne Goss.
Mrs. Owen is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Charlotte and Bret Boatright of Horatio and Coty Taylor of De Queen; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Julie Owen of Conway and Michael and Shamie Owen of De Queen; three brothers, Billy Goss, Stanley Goss and Travis Goss; two sisters, Loyce Swift and Diane Maurer; 15 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16th at Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the home of Charlotte and Bret Boatright, 304 Main Street in Horatio with Duane Alspaw officiating.
Ola Mae Richardson
Ola Mae Richardson, age 70, of Grannis, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 in Hot Springs.
She was born March 10, 1942 in Wickes, Arkansas to the late Guy Herring and the late Ollie Tunnel Herring. She was united in marriage to L. C. Richardson. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Baker Rock Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Sons: Jerry Richardson and wife Donna of Royse City, Texas, Lonnie Richardson, Jr. and wife Angie of Grannis, Arkansas

Brothers: George Allen Herring and wife Margie of Wickes, Arkansas, Darrell Wayne Herring and wife Esther of Wickes, Arkansas, John Herring and wife Susan of Potter, Arkansas

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Ollie Herring.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wickes Church of the Nazarene with Brother James Squires officiating. Interment follows in Daniel Cemetery
under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. The family will return to the church for lunch and fellowship.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening, May 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Carlton Richardson, John Richardson, Rex Herring, Clayton Belcher, Lynn Blackmon, and Neal Warren. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Gillaspy, Scott Richardson, Gordon Dehart, Roger Cartwright, and Davon Downing.
Hoyt G. Cauthen
Mr. Hoyt G. Cauthen, age 55, a resident of Gillham, Arkansas, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born September 26, 1956 at Ellington Air Force Base, Texas. Mr. Cauthen was a veteran and a cowboy.
Mr. Cauthen was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Patricia Neil Cauthen.
He is survived by his father, Charles H. Cauthen; two sisters, Cheryl Petitt of Texas and Charlotte Gail Morse of North Carolina; two nieces and a great-nephew.
Lillie Faye Moon Norwood
Mrs. Lillie Faye Moon Norwood, age 62, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in the Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas.
She was born October 2, 1949 in De Queen. She was the current owner of Lillies Phillies, worked at the Dickinson Nursing Home, was the dietary manager at the De Queen Hospital, and was the secretary/treasurer of the Mt. Pleasant Church. She enjoyed helping others, and for the last seven years she prepared Thanksgiving dinner for the community at no charge. Her desire was to one day open a soup kitchen.
Mrs. Norwood was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lola Cates Lewis Moon; her husband, C. W. Norwood, Jr.; two daughters, Betty Kimmel and Peggy Sue Norwood; one sister, Nellie Herring; a granddaughter, Katelen Parson; and three great grandchildren, Jason Burgess, Meko Norwood and Justice Norwood.
She is survived by three sons, John Allen Norwood (Jeannie) of Lockesburg, Arkansas, James Edward Norwood and special daughter-in-law, Stacy McGuffin of Lockesburg, Danny Andrew Norwood (Tonya Sue) of Glenwood, Arkansas; five daughters, Bonnie Kathleene Hulbert (Ronald) of Glenwood, Pattie Ann Talley of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Helen Elizabeth Burgess (Wade) of Glenwood, Angela Faye Stewart (James) of Lockesburg, and Cindy Annette Becerra and special son-in-law, Natividad of De Queen; four sisters, Mary Lou Taylor of San Angelo, Texas, Patricia Bell Bills of Rockport, Texas, Virginia Lee Bryan of Odessa, Texas and Carolyn Maxine Bills of San Angelo; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Norwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alfred Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
