Martinez
Patricia Martinez, 23, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, June 8, in a fire at her residence which also claimed the life of her son, Ricardo Uriel Espinoza.
Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, she had lived in Jonesboro for the past three years. She was employed by Trinity Lighting.
Survivors include her husband, Victor Espinoza of the home; her parents, Cruz Martinez and Petra Canizales, both of Monterrey, Mexico; and two sisters, Martha Martinez of Monterrey and Alejandra Martinez of Jonesboro.
Memorial service will be conducted 4 p.m. Friday at Betel Church, 7703 Cottage Home Road. Hector Ruiz will officiate.
Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
No visitation is scheduled.
McClain
ASH FLAT -- Charles Glenwood McClain Jr., 61, of Ash Flat died Tuesday, June 8, at his residence.
Born in Long Beach, Calif., he was a Navy veteran and worked for a number of years as a self-employed drywall contractor.
He attended Williams Baptist College and Lyons College before moving back to California. Following retirement in 2003, he moved back to Arkansas from Mira Loma, Calif. He was a board member of the Inland Empire Foster Parent Association and a member of Abundant Life Church in Highland.
Survivors include his wife, Alice McClain of the home; eight sons, Charles McClain III of Hesperia, Calif., Nathan McClain and Adam McClain, both of Riverside, Calif., Jeff Chapman, Jeremy Rodola and Jonathan Rodola, all of Ash Flat, Dean Frey of Mira Loma and Robert Rodola of Arizona; three daughters, Dawn Clowdus of Riverside, Trina Gorell of Mira Loma and Christina Moreno of Hemet, Calif.; three sisters, Jessica Crain of Perris, Calif., Nadine Miller of Palm Springs and Susie Chapman of Colorado; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Abundant Life Church, with Joey Barnes officiating. Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland is in charge of arrangements.
McCrackin
SULPHUR ROCK -- Tammy McCrackin, 40, of Sulphur Rock died Tuesday, June 8, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born at Cash, she was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and was of the Assembly of God belief.
Survivors include her husband, Mike McCrackin of the home; two sons, Mark Ryan McCrackin and Michael Travis McCrackin Jr., both of Sulphur Rock; one daughter, Misty Dawn McCrackin of Lynn; her parents, Johnny Bagwell and Joan Eades Bagwell, both of Strawberry; one sister, Dianna Kunkel of Cave City; one brother, John Bagwell Jr. of Batesville; and one grandchild, Chandler Rayne Mitchell of Lynn.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home chapel in Cave City. Bobby Sanders will officiate, and burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery
near Cave City.
Active pallbearers will include Jeff Broyles, Mike Belt, Ted Bagwell, Randall Bagwell, Dustin Bagwell and Kenny McGraw.
Honorary pallbearers will include Joey Huckabee and Randy Whitlow.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Miller
CORNING -- Jessica Lynn Miller, 17, of Corning, died Wednesday, June 9, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
She was a student at Pocahontas Day Service Center and a member of the Success First Baptist Church in Success.
Survivors include her parents, Terry Gordon Miller and Janice Faye Teasley Miller of Corning; two sisters, Amanda Riley of Jonesboro and Jennifer Benson of Piggott; her grandparents, Imogene Miller and Milburn and Sylvia Teasley, all of Corning; and her great-grandfather, Sidney Hunt of Corning.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Gordon Miller; and her great-grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ermert Funeral Home chapel in Corning.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pocahontas Day Service Center or to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

Morris William Prater, 65, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, June 8, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Born at Egypt, he was a former employee of Crane Co. and Gillespie Egg Farm. He was a member of New Antioch Baptist Church at Goobertown.
Survivors include his wife, Belva Moody Prater of the home; one son, Stacy Prater of Jonesboro; a daughter, Kim Ewers of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Ritha Hufstedler of Egypt; two brothers, Huston Prater of Jonesboro and Charley Prater of Paragould; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jackson and Stella Mae Bridges Prater; his stepmother, Bettie Kell Prater; one sister; and four brothers.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro with the Rev. Randall Moody and the Rev. Larry Ring officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Scarborough
Faye E. Scarborough, 75, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, June 9, at Regional Medical Center of NEA.
A lifelong resident of Jonesboro, she had worked as a sales clerk for Douglas Drugs and as a manager at El Cena Casa Mexican Restaurant in Jonesboro. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Jonesboro.
Survivors include her husband, Doyle Scarborough of the home; three daughters, Sharon Stallings, Nancy Merrill and Linda Pinkston, all of Jonesboro; one son, Jerry Scarborough of Jonesboro; one sister, Blanche Miles of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Elphia Cross Perkins, and two sisters.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Pine Hill Cemetery
at Jonesboro with the Rev. Eugene Merrill officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Pat Spurlock, 62, of Jonesboro, who died Tuesday, June 8, at Craighead County Nursing Center in Jonesboro, will be 10 a.m. today at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Harold Ray, Stan Ballard and Craig Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.

FAYETTEVILLE -- Funeral services for A.C. Bull Jr., 80, of Fayetteville, who died Thursday, June 10, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, will be at 2 p.m. today at University Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
