He is survived by his son, Robert Wayne Starling of Panama City, Fla.; his mother, Sue Starling of Panama City, Fla.; his sister, Donna Sue Wyatt of Lecanto, Fla.; his brother, Kenneth Ray Lunsford of Indiana; his nephew, Micheal Wyatt; and his grandparents, Raymond and Margaret Lunsford of Cahaba Heights and Betty Moore of Panama City, Fla.
Rockco's Funeral Home in Montevallo directed the service.

Patty Mann Martin, 60, of Leeds died Sept. 26, 2003. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Scott Jones.
She is survived by her husband, John (J.T.) Martin; her parents, Wilburn and Esteen Mann; her daughter, Jody Jones (Jeff) Washington; her stepdaughter, April Martin (Rickey) Smith; her stepson, Alan Martin; three stepgrandchildren, Wes (Gretchen) Smith, Calah Smith and Jessica Smith; and two step great-grandchildren.
Service was Sept. 29 at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Harpersville Garden of Memory, Kilgroe in Leeds directing.

Angie McDonald, 46, of Vestavia Hills died Sept. 27, 2003. She was a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. She had worked formerly as a special education teacher. She was past president of the Civiettes, a service organization benefitting United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham. She was also past president of the PTA at Vestavia Hills Elementary School East.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kerry McDonald of Vestavia Hills; two daughters, Kristin and Kallie McDonald of Vestavia Hills; her mother, Sarah Oliver; her father, Al Oliver; and her sister, Michelle Oliver of Birmingham.
Graveside service was Sept. 29 at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing.
DEVAUGHN CARL MOORE
Usher Board member
DeVaughn Carl Moore, 26, died Sept. 19, 2003. He was a 1995 graduate of West End High School and a member of the South Elyton Baptist Church, where he served on the youth usher board.
He is survived by his parents, the Rev. Michael and Dottie Moore; one sister, Ebony Michelle Moore; and his grandparents, Gussie Moore and Vera Weldon Stone.
Service was Sept. 28 at the church, pastor Reginald Brown presiding. Burial followed in George Washington Carver Memorial Park, Westside Funeral Home in Calera directing.
SEALE WARNER RAY
Hoover resident
Seale Warner Ray, 82, of Hoover died Sept. 24, 2003. He was a member, usher and greeter at Hunter Street Baptist Church and a former member and deacon at Central Park Baptist Church. He was in the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He was retired from U.S. Steel after 43 years of service and also from Crown Automobile. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Dale Jones Ray.
He is survived by his daughter, Angi (Ernie) Griffin of Alabaster; his son, Randy (Judy) Ray of Leeds; four grandchildren, Kimberly Griffin of Hammond, La., Kristin Griffin of Troy, Emily and Robert Warner Ray of Leeds; his sister, Eloise Ray Bingham of Easton, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
Service was Sept. 26 at Southern Heritage Chapel, the Rev. Buddy Gray presiding. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery, Ridoutís Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Betty Jo Wright, 57, of Pelham died Sept. 17, 2003.
Service was Sept. 23 at the Freewill Baptist Church in Alabaster, pastor Larry Coleman presiding. Burial followed in new Gracehill Cemetery, Westside Funeral Home directing.

Martha "Jo" Bradford, 63, of Columbiana died nov. 16, 2003, at her home. She was born July 4, 1940, in Huntsville.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ollie H. "Pete" Bradford; seven children; Steve (Jean) Bradford of Harpersville, Mona (Larry) Chapman of Wilsonville, Mike Bradford of Columbiana, Cathy (Mike) Qualls of Toney, Ala., Danny Bradford of Columbiana, Chris (Ronnie) Bradford of Wilsonville and Charlie (Michelle) Bradford of Columbiana; three brothers, Alfred Evett, Bart Evett and Terry Evett; four sisters, Polly Honea, Debbie Creel, Pam Jackson and Alma Ford; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and Sassy.
Service will be today, Nov. 19 at Bolton Brown Service Chapel, the Rev. B.R. Johnson presiding. Burial will follow in Harpersville Cemetery, Bolton Brown directing.

Gordon "Jack" Brown, 63, of Montevallo died Nov. 11, 2003. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Chub and Cork Brown, and his sister, Sister.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley Brown of Montevallo; four sons, Timothy (Kim) Brown of Helena, Michael John (Gerri) Brown of Montevallo, Jeffery K. Brown of Montevallo and Randy J. Brown of Montevallo; six grandchildren, Christina, Mindy, Lindsay, Jake, Morgan and Madison; four brothers, Rich Brown of Florida, Tink Brown, Lid and Ken Brown, all of New York; and Bett Crvickshank of New York; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Service was Nov. 14 at Southern Heritage Chapel, the Rev. Danny Winfrey presiding. Burial followed at Southern Heritage Cemetery.

Jackie Lee Burns, 33, of Columbiana died Nov. 10, 2003. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Columbiana and an employee of W.E. Fence Company in Columbiana.
He is survived by his mother, Bessie Lee Burns; his brothers and sisters, James Allen (Augusta) Burns, Michael Burns, Waymon (Lisa) Burns, Ivy (Douglas) Portis, Debra (Phillip) Carter and Rebecca (Eddie) Nunn; his grandfather, Jasper Woods; and his fiancee, May Lee Goodman.

J.C. Cummings, 89, of Montevallo died Nov. 15, 2003, at Bibb Medical Center. He was born in January 1914 in Bibb County.
He is survived by five sons, Charles (Bonnie) Cummings of Atmore, John (Dorothy) Cummings and Gerald (Jimmie Ruth) Cummings, both of Montevallo, David (Jane) Cummings of Brierfield and Billy (Patsy) Cummings of Alabaster; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Service was Nov. 18 at Bolton Brown Service Chapel, the Rev. Carroll Spain presiding. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens, Bolton Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

Kenneth Ray Dennis, 65, of Wilsonville died Nov. 11, 2003, at his home. He was born in June 1938 in Shelby County.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Ray Dennis; his daughters, Beverly (Bill) Justice of Columbiana and Lavonda (Doug) Bryant of Wilsonville; six grandchildren, Magan, Whitney, Robert, Blake, Andrew and Andrea; and one sister, Dorothy Crawford.
Graveside service was Nov. 13 at Fourmile Cemetery, the Revs. Marvin McCormick and Mike Miller presiding and Bolton Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
