Evelyn H. Hawkins, 80, of Hoover died July 28, 2003. She was born in Alabama in 1922, the daughter of James Garfield Hammock and Lulu Belle White Hammock. She retired from South Central Bell.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbye (Don) Davis of Montevallo; her granddaughter, Jill Isenhower of Homewood; her grandson, Don R. Davis of Virginia; her grandson, Steven Davis of Montevallo; two great-granddaughters, Madeline Tennyson and Summer Davis; two great-grandsons, Alan Isenhower and Michael Davis; one great-great-granddaughter, Miranda Davis; one brother, Harold Hammock of Florida; and one sister, Clarcille Keener of Anniston.
Service was July 30 at Charter Funeral Home, the Rev. David Vinson presiding and Charter Funeral Home in Calera directing.
MILTON "BUTCH" INGRAM
Wilsonville resident
Milton "Butch" Ingram, 55, of Wilsonville diied Aug. 2, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born in 1948 in Tuscaloosa.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ingram of Wilsonville; two daughters, Tonya Ingram of Hueytown and Ashley Doron of Wilsonville; his brothers and sisters, Mervle Ingram of Salinas, Calif., Tilman Ingram of Tuscaloosa, Mable Antley of Tuscaloosa, Bettye Mitchell of Northport and Judy Stacks of Parrish; and two grandchildren, Samantha Haynes and Hunter Haynes of Hueytown.
Service will be today, Aug. 6 at Wilsonville Baptist Church, Brother Jim Jacks and Brother R.L. Rasmussen presiding. Burial will follow in Wilsonville Cemetery, Bolton Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
DOUGLAS PATTON "PAT" JONES
Montevallo resident
Douglas Patton "Pat" Jones, 73, of Montevallo died Aug. 1, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born in January 1930 in Rocky Ridge in Jefferson County. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He spent many years in Columbus, Ohio, in the construction trade and the last 12 years in thhe Montevallo area.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elise Poarch Jones.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Myers of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kenneth, Kendra and Kolin; one brother, James A. Jones of Galloway, Ohio; one sister, Eleanor Gamble of Birmingham; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside service was Aug. 4 at Shelby Memory Gardens, the Rev. Scott Fowler presiding and Bolton Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
DANIEL PATRICK MILLARD

Daniel Patrick Millard, 24, died Aug. 2, 2003. His four years in Birmingham and Auburn brought him great rewards in friendship and love. Prior to these years, he had lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Austin, Texas; and Chicago. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Millard.
He is survived by his father, John Millard; his sister, Amanda Millard; his grandmother, Betty Corbett; his uncle, Greg Millard; his aunts, Kathy Taylor and Mary Povilaitis.
Service will be Thursday, Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. at Southern Heritage Chapel, Ridout's Southern Heritage directing.

Melba Thrift Patrick, 57, of Wilton died July 28, 2003.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Patrick; two sons, Jefferey Scott Patrick of Atlanta, Ga., and Tommy Jerome Patrick of Wilton; and other relatives.
Service was Aug. 2 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with burial following in Montevallo Cemetery, The Good Shepherd Funeral Home directing.
RAYMOND LAWRENCE WILLIAMSON

Raymond Lawrence Williamson, 70, of Alabaster died July 29, 2003. He had retired from Blue Cross after 30 years and from the U.S. Army after 32 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Alma Williamson.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Massie Williamson; his daughter, Jeanine (Willy) Williamson of Dothan; his son, Robert P. (Sherry) Williamson of Dothan; his daughter, Danna (Michael) Scott of Atlanta, Ga.; his son, Christopher Williamson of Alabaster; three grandsons, Garrett Robinson, Gavin Robinson of Dothan and Michael Anthony Scott II of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Lillian (Tommy) Thornell; and two brothers, David Williamson and Byron (Linda) Williamson, all of Dothan.
Service was Aug. 2, the Rev. Allan Murphy presiding. Burial was in Selma Baptist Church Cemetery in Dothan, Charter Funeral Home and Ward Wilson Funeral Home in Dothan directing.

Willis Luther Savage, 83, of Montevallo died Aug. 3, 2003, in Alabaster. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Eugene Savage.
He is survived by his wife, Annie L. Savage of Montevallo; one daughter, Dorothy Sue (John Thomas) Cummings of Montevallo; one son, Billy Joe (Martha Jean) Savage of Pace, Fla.; one sister, Fannie Pearl Anderson of Jacksonville; one brother, Johnny Savage of Massillen, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Service was Aug. 5 at Rockco's Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Steve Johnson and Frankie Godsey presiding. Burial followed in Montevallo Cemetery, Rockco's directing.

J.D. Bice, 77, of Jemison died Sept. 16, 2003, at his home. He was born in June 1926 in Shelby Springs.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, G.W. Bice, Buery Bice, Oneal Bice and Benny Bice, all of Jemison, Wayne Bice of Cosby, Tenn., Lorene B. Bice of Jemison, Annie R. Cofer of Maylene, Aileen Collum of Slapout and Leona Wells of Pelham.
Graveside service was Sept. 18 at Center Hill Cemetery in Jemison, the Rev. Royce Ellison presiding and Bolton Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Jowers Bryars of Mobile; three sons, Bennie (Speedy) Ramsey of Bessemer, Terry Carroll of Pelham and Neal Blackwelder of Pelham; her granddaughters, Marie Carroll of Pelham, Tresia Ramsey Ervin of Pelham and Beth Blackwelder of Mobile; and her grandsons, Michael Carroll of Pelham, Bryant Blackwelder of Pelham and David Blackwelder of Denver, Colo.
Service was Sept. 20 at Rockco's Funeral Home in Montevallo, Brother Paul Lane presiding. Burial followed in Pelham City Cemetery, Rockco's Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Roger Leslie, Kevin Smith, Michael Carroll, Trey Wallace, Neil Blackwelder and Bryant Blackwelder.
