ANDERSON, Elizabeth Jane Lee, age 71, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at a local hospital on November 15th, 2011, after an extended strong fought cancer battle. She was born in Forest, Mississippi to Former Mississippi Supreme Court Chief Justice and Mrs. Percy M. Lee on December 13th, 1939. She was one of eight children. A funeral service will be held November 18th at 7 PM. at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery. Dr. Jay Wolf will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 6 PM. A private burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery the next morning. Mrs. Anderson graduated from Forest High School in 1957 and from Mississippi College in 1961. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dr. James Noble Anderson; son, Dr. James Noble Anderson, Jr., daughters; Beth Sullivan (Paul), Lee Batey (Todd), grandchildren, Christianna Lee Sullivan, Mary Elizabeth Sullivan, Katherine Ruth Sullivan, and James Noble Anderson III, Her brothers; retired Mississippi Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Noble Lee, Sr, Forest, Mississippi, Robert Edward Lee, Clinton, Mississippi and U.S. District Judge Tom S. Lee (Norma Ruth) of Jackson, Mississippi, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by brothers Percy Mercer Lee, James Walter Lee, Charles David Lee and sister Annie Laurie James. Jane will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a devoted lady of Christian faith. She had a wonderful gift of giving and providing for others. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and was humble, gentle and kind. EPTON, Delmar F., 77, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2011 at his home after a lengthy illness. Born August 21, 1934, he was preceded in his death by his parents and two siblings. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Pope Epton; children, Janet Weir (Mike), Sheila Helms (Ron), Michael Epton (Susan), Lisa Cox; step- children, Celeste Ryan (Spencer), Michael Rowell; and a sister, Laverne Holmes (Don). He was also a devoted grandfather to eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Delmar served in the US Army, stationed in Korea and Ft. Benning, GA, until 1957. After residing in California for 8 years he moved his family to Montgomery in 1965. He began work with First National Bank in 1966 where he worked through multiple re-organizations, acquisitions, and mergers as First National became First Alabama Bank and then Regions Bank. Delmar was an integral part of the growth and success of Regions Financial Corporation until his retirement in 1998 as Executive Vice President of Operations. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 2:30 followed by a Memorial Service at 3:30. FORSTER, Leslie Stark of Montgomery, Alabama, age 44, went into the arms of the Lord on November 16, 2011 after a brief illness. Leslie was preceded in death by her grandparents Henry and Josephine Stark and Walter and Lillian Forster and her aunt Nova Lee Galvin. She is survived by her parents, Richard "Dick" and Doris Forster; brothers, Michael Forster (Valerie) and David Forster (Antrice), sister; Ann Elizabeth Forster, many loving and caring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special "Thank You" to the doctors, nurses and staffs of Father Purcells (St. Jude Hospital), Tarwater and Partlow Facilities and Hilltop Home who cared for Leslie during her life and all those Saints at Princeton Baptist Hospital in Birmingham who showed their love and care for her in the last days and hours of her life. Bye sweet Leslie we will miss you! The family will greet friends on Saturday, November 19 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel. A private family graveside will be held at a later date. Russell, Sr. and is survived by her daughters: Melissa Linn and husband, Gregg; Jennie Weller and husband, Jeff; Sons: Charles E. Russell, Jr. and wife Tina; John Russell and wife Jackie; Scott Russell and wife Kim; Brother: Joe Crain; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Marijohn was born in Newnan, Georgia and grew up in Welcome, Georgia. She was a graduate of Crawford W. Long School of Nursing in Atlanta and was a long time resident of Hope Hull where she was a member of Pintlala Baptist Church and a member of the Ruth - Lydia Sunday School Class.
