CATHERINE ARNELL BEAVERS RIDDLE
TALLADEGA — Graveside service for Catherine Arnell Beavers Riddle, 87, a longtime resident of Talladega, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Birmingham with Gina Howard officiating.
Mrs. Riddle died June 18 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
She is survived by one son, James Davis (Donna) Riddle Jr.; one daughter, Sue Ellen Riddle; one sister-in-law and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bennett of Biloxi, Miss.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic, 312 Prince St., Sevierville, Tenn. 37862.
Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville, Tenn., will direct the service.

TALLADEGA — Lois Gaston Suttle, 68, of Talladega died June 19 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega.

HARPERSVILLE — Janie Mae Threatt, 70, of Harpersville, died June 18.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Carol "MiMi" Wester, 57, of Pell City will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with Dr. Kenneth Bullard officiating. Burial will follow in St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Wester died June 18.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Wester of Pell City; three daughters, Kim (Joey) Hobson of Pell City, Cathy Brittain of Milledgeville, Ga., and Kelley (Chris) Atkerson of Pinson; eight grandchildren, Morgan Hobson, Brittney Hobson, Joel Hobson, Benjamin Hobson, Courtney Brittain, James Brittain, Dale Atkerson and Kristen Atkerson; four brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kilgroe Funeral Home of Pell City will direct the service.

PELL CITY — Graveside service for Louise Bell, 81, of Vincent, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Vincent City Cemetery.
Mrs. Bell died June 20.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

WANDA FAYE GARNER
PELL CITY — Graveside service for Wanda Faye Garner, 68, will be Saturday at 4 p.m. in Macedonia Cemetery
in Ragland with the Rev. Doug Ford officiating.
Mrs. Garner died June 18 at her residence. She was a native of St. Clair County, but spent 45 years living in Ohio. She had lived in Ragland for the past 15 years, where she was a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence H. Garner of Ragland.
Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home will direct the service.
REBECCA LYNN HARE
TALLADEGA — Graveside service for Rebecca Lynn Hare, 45, of Talladega will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery
with the Rev. Bill Gandy officiating.
Mrs. Hare died June 18 at her residence. A native of Orlando, Fla., she had lived in Talladega the past 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Hicks Brown; her father, Charles R. Brown; and a son, Joseph Fred Hare.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Hare of Talladega; a daughter, Lindsey Hare of Talladega; and two sisters, Lesia Paris of Talladega and Renee Preston of Orlando, Fla.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Lambert, Jared McCardle, Justin Chastain, Casey Bice, Shawn Campbell and Brody Barnett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. David Roberts, Allen Miller, Jim Hare and Vance Paris.
Usrey Funeral Home will direct the service.
WANDA JEAN KIRK
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Wanda Jean Kirk, 61, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. R.L. Morris officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Ms. Kirk died June 19. She was a member of Grimes Chapel Baptist Church and a graduate of Weogufka High School.
She is survived by a nephew, Jason Kirk of Weogufka; and a great-niece, Jacey Kirk.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Helms, Richard Corbitt, Lanier Corbitt, Timmy Mitchell, Larry Worley and Tommy Hamilton.
Radney-Smith Funeral Home will direct the service.
CLARENCE D. SPURGEON
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Clarence D. “Bud” Spurgeon, 67, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Todd Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Tallassahatchie Cemetery.
Mr. Spurgeon died June 17 at Latrobe Area Hospital in Latrobe, Pa. He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Spurgeon; a sister, Mildred Gann; and his parents, Lonnie and Alma Spurgeon.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Spurgeon of Prattville; a son, David Spurgeon of Sylacauga; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Frontiero of Prattville and Nikki Palangio of Greensboro, Pa.; a stepson, Ron Palangio of Hannastown, Pa.; a grandson, Brandon Spurgeon of Sylacauga; a stepgrandson, Nicholas Frontiero of Prattville; two stepgranddaughters, Melanie Layton and Lori Layton of Sylacauga; two sisters, Clara Mae Rutledge and Opal Buford of Berry; and two brothers, Early Spurgeon of Prattville and Jerry Spurgeon of Trussville.
Pallbearers will be Steve Frontiero, Wayne Spurgeon, Phil Machen, Wendell Hickman, Randy Spurgeon and Brandon Spurgeon.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
