ODENVILLE — Graveside service for Cheally McCrary Thomas, 95, of Odenville will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery
in Trussville.
Mrs. Thomas died June 17 at her daughter's home in Riverside.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Starnes and Faye White; two sons, Benny Thomas and Wayne Thomas; one brother, Leonard McCrary, 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds will direct the service.

Ms. Wilson died June 15 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Cust Wilson, and was a member of Cannon Baptist Church.

BOBBIE LEE BROOKS
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Bobby Lee Brooks, 75, of Talladega will be Saturday at noon at Jacobs Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Revs. Mark L. Cooper and Bernard Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Memory Gardens.
Mr. Brooks died June 14 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Anniston. A member of Jacobs Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, he was a graduate of Alabama School for the Blind and was a house parent at the school. He was employed by the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind until his retirement in 1996. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vanessa D. Porter; his father, Jessie B. Brooks; his mother, Lacreshia Shepherd Brooks; his stepmother, Susie M. Brooks; two brothers, Glover L. Brooks and Ceasar Brooks.
He is survived by his wife, Tina L. Brooks of Talladega; one son, Reginald Brooks of Atlanta; four sisters, Doris M. Gunn, Thelma Satterwhite and Barbara Higgins of Atlanta and Elizabeth Griffin of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, Elijah Brooks and Dawson Brooks of Atlanta; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Abraham Mathis, Horace Sims, Robert Swain, Clarence Dortch Jr., Clarence Dortch III and John Turner.
Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the service.

HOBSON CITY — Funeral service for Lela Ackles, 84, of Hobson City will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Hobson City with the Rev. G.L. Lauderdale officiating. Burial will follow in Chulafinne Cemetery
in Heflin.
Mrs. Ackles died June 17 at Montclair Baptist Hospital in Birmingham. She was a member of New Immanuel Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Ackles, and a son Aaron Ackles Jr.
She is survived by four sons, Martin Ackles of Hobson City, James Ackles of Carrolton, Ga., Lamar Ackles of Anniston and Lorenzo Pearson of Hobson City; two daughters, Bertha Ackles and Darlene Bailey of Anniston; two sisters, Martha Ball of Hobson City and Emma Lou Baker of Florida; one brother, Clyde Brown of Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Anniston Funeral Service will direct the service.

ANNISTON — Funeral service for Nellie Mae Carden, 89, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Usrey Chapel Hill in Pell City with the Rev. Doug Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Cresswell Cemetery
in Eastaboga.
Mrs. Carden died June 19, in Ragland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gussie Mae Carroll; her husband, Gete E. Carden; four sons, Ronald, Robert, Edward and Billy Carden; a daughter, Sybil Johnson; three brothers, Bruell, Henry and M.C. Carroll; and a sister, Mandy Rasmund.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha Thompson of Anniston and Shirley Lefever of Clayton, Ga.; two sons, Winford Carden and Ray Carden of Anniston; one sister, Annie Mae Harlin of Theodore; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Clay Thompson, Terry Carden, Joey Cooper, Kevin Isbell, John Ray and David Johns.
Usrey Chapel Hill in Pell City will direct the service.

in Anniston.
Mrs. Clark died June 17 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary McLain, and two sons, George and Bobby Clark. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and Slaughter Delight Chapter 782 OES.
She is survived by three sons, Morris Street of Woodlawn, Maryland and Harold Street and Wayne Clark of Anniston; one daughter, Emma Jackson of Anniston; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
LULA FAYE CUMMINGS
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Lula Faye Cummings, 74, of Talladega will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Chet Roden officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Cummings died June 19 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, a member of Southside Baptist Church and a member of the Joy Club. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy L. Cummings.
She is survived by two daughters, Candy Sue (Charles) Ponder and Karen Kay (Freddie) Smith of Talladega; one brother, Lawson Goray of Montgomery; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Scott Smith, Jon Paul Ponder, Kent Owens and Rickey Peters.
Emily Owens will be honorary pallbearer
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 until 8 p.m.

POWDER SPRINGS — Funeral service for Charles Fox, 52, of Powder Springs, Ga., will be Saturday at noon at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville with the Rev. M.L. Green officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery
in Jacksonville.
Mr. Fox died June 16, at Wellstar Community Tranquillity Care Center in Austell, Ga.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Fox of Powder Springs, Ga.; three daughters, Kimberly Fox of Powder Springs, Ga., Keisha Fox Fuqua of Washington, D.C., and Charnita Fox of Decatur; his mother Ida Mae Fox of Jacksonville; four sisters, Bobbie Jean (Dr. M.L.) Green of Smyrna, Ga., Jovita (Walter) Young of Anniston, Marguretta Fox of Birmingham and Vicki Fox of Jacksonville; four brothers, Paul Fox of Atlanta, Dwight Fox of Wichita, Kan., Jerome Fox of Jacksonville and Julius Fox of Jacksonville; and two granddaughters.
Brothers and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Hare died June 18 at her residence. A native of Orlando, Fla., she had lived in Talladega the past 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Hicks Brown; her father, Charles R. Brown; and a son, Joseph Fred Hare.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Hare of Talladega; a daughter, Lindsey Hare of Talladega; and two sisters, Lesia Paris of Talladega and Renee Preston of Orlando, Fla.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 until 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Lambert, Jared McCarle, Justin Chastain, Casey Bice and Brody Barnett.
