He is preceded in death by his parents and a special friend, M. F. “Bubba“ Jackson. He is survived by: his wife, Lila Rawlinson Spratlan; one son, Mason H. Spratlan, III; step-children: Cherry Pinson, Donna Jucknies, Brenda Pinson, Brenda Dennis, Dot Brown, Melvin Lancaster, Kenneth Rawlinson and Curtis Lancaster; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Miss Hand attended Stanhope Elmore High School and was a member of the Stanhope Elmore Girl’s Volleyball Team.
