Funeral services will be held Monday, September 2, 2002 at 1 p.m. from Autaugaville United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Hill Cemetery with Ridout’s Prattville Chapel directing. Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Tucker; one sister, Grace Middlebrooks; three brothers: Homer, Wesley and Earnest Motley. She is survived by: one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia (Jenny) and Bobby Lawrence, of Prattville, AL; one granddaughter, Jennifer Lawrence, of Prattville, AL; stepgrandchildren, Debbie and Wendell Kirkland and Vicky Lawrence; step great-grandson, Clint Kirkland; one sister, Margaret McCord, of Millbrook, AL; two brothers, Otto Motley, of Pine Level, AL and Raymond Motley of, Nashville, TN; several nieces and nephews, also, caregivers, Elaine and Hazel Stoudermire. Mrs. Tucker will lie in state 30 minutes at the church. CAMPBELL, Lena Mae. Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Mae Campbell, age 92, of Louisville, AL will be held Monday, September 2, 2002, at 2 p.m. from the Louisville Baptist Church. The Rev. R. C. Belcher and Rev. Steve Poteat will officiate and burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery with Kent Funeral Home of Clayton directing. Mrs. Campbell died Saturday, August 31, 2002 at Lakeview Community Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born December 14, 1909 in Biloxi, MS, Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Harvey and Willie Lena Crosby Pearson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar Campbell. Mrs. Campbell lived most of her life in Barbour County, but was raised in Hot Springs, AK and Miami, OK. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Campbell worked for Price Brothers Gas in Louisville for 33 years as a bookkeeper.
Survivors include a daughter, Jimmie Jean Bush, of Louisville and a grandson, Jim Bush of Auburn.
Active pallbearers will be: Dent Richards, Dr. M. N. Freeman, Buddy Bowdoin, Billy Weston, Lynch Beaty and Oyed McClendon. Donations may be made to the Louisville Baptist Church, Louisville, AL 36048.

VINSON, Bonnie (Johnston), 48, a resident of Millbrook, AL, passed away Friday, September 6, 2002 from a battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. from Alabama Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
She was a 1972 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Johnny Johnston. She is survived by a most devoted, dedicated and loving husband, Tankey (James) Vinson and one devoted and beautiful daughter, Ashley Rae Vinson. Other survivors include a devoted sister, Mona Penn and a devoted brother, Jeff Johnston; sisters, Eileen Thomas and Linda Johnston, both of Montgomery, AL; brothers, David Johnson and Mike and Donna Johnston, both of Montgomery, AL; very dedicated mother and father-in-law, Clodine and Tank Vinson, Montgomery, AL; one very loving sister-in-law, Diane Ballentine and Jimmy; very longtime and much loved friends, Janette and James Davis, Millbrook, AL; great-nieces and nephews, To My Miss Emily: Forever and Always and Lauren Segrest, Lexi Kirkpatrick, Nolan, Jessica and Elija Pharr.

LESLIE, Anita Doyle, age 80, of Montgomery, died September 6,2002 at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Birmingham and has resided in Montgomery for the past 38 years. She attended The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and Huntingdon College. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, The Junior League of Tuscaloosa, Pandora Literary Guild, Sojourners Club and was a Charter Member of Descendants of The Mayflower in Alabama.
She was loved and cherished by her husband of 60 years, Henry A.Leslie; her daughter, Anita Leslie Bagby (Arthur P. Bagby, III) of Bir-mingham; her son, Henry Arthur Leslie, Jr. (Jeanne Marie Leslie) of Montgomery; four grandchildren, Leslie Miller Klasing (Daniel Raymond Klasing) and David E. Miller, Jr. (Shannon Leigh Miller) of Birmingham, Henry Arthur Leslie, IIIand Culle Leslie of Montgomeryand two great-grandchildren, Anita Danielle Klasing and Katherine Joann Klasing of Birmingham.
