Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Salem Church of Christ with Ministers John Dixon & Davis Moorer officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Pouncey was survived by his wife, Doris Pouncey, Lapine; children, Margaret Ann (Warren) Foster, Lapine, Kathy (Kenny) Huett, Lapine, Mathew (Jennifer) Pouncey, Honoraville; grandchildren, Donna Lynn (Ricky) Jeffcoat, Stephen (Candice) Foster, Brittany Pouncey, Adrienne Pouncey; great grandchild, Adam Jeffcoat; Several brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Leslie Michael Mosley
Mr. Leslie Michael Mosley, 59, a resident of Georgiana, died Tuesday, April 08, 2008 at Georgiana Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with the Rev. Watson Wasden officiating.
Burial followed in Antioch West Baptist Church Cemetery with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Mosley is survived by daughter, Pamela Renea Coleman of Greenville; daughter, Jonika Powell of Selma; great-grandson, John Powell, Jr. of Selma; mother, Edith Mosley of Georgiana.
The family received friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Myrtle Alice Clark
Myrtle Alice Clark, age 86, a resident of Greenville, died April 8, 2008 in a Birmingham hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Park with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by her sons, Lavon ( Patricia Von) Clark, Jimmy ( Daphne) Clark; daughter-in-law, Glenda Clark, all of Greenville; grandchildren: Michael (Mandy) Powell , Brentwood, Tenn., Michelle (PD) Sumner, Austin, Texas, Alex Clark , Longview, Texas, Brady Clark, Evan Clark, David (Brenda) Clark and Roxanne Eastman, all of Greenville; great - grandchildren: Nicole Clark, Katelyn Sumner, Paul David Sumner III, Jessie Bentley, Josh Eastman, Emma Grace Powell, Sara Beth Powell, Jack Wesley Powell and Dylan Thomas Bentley; sister: Ella (Richard) Moye, Malino, Fla.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband Erbie Clark; parents: Richard and Alice Monk; brothers: Daniel and Cliffor Monk, sisters: Peggy Lambeth & Mattie Lou Parker, children: Thomas Lamar Clark and Darlene Clark Powell.
William J. Cantrell
William J. Cantrell, born August 13, 1948, died on Tuesday, April 8, 2008.
A celebration honoring his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12 at Midway Baptist Church in Midway.
The family will receive friends following the service. He is survived by his children, Kelly Cantrell (John Robert) Colley, Shane (Lindsey) Cantrell and Dakota Cantrell, and his grandchildren, Dalton Harper, Pierce Harper and John-Walker Colley.
In lieu of flowers, indoor or outdoor plants would be appreciated.
Helen H. Rogers McGough
Helen Hortense Rogers McGough, 92, a resident of Rutledge, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 at Union Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Moses officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. McGough was preceded in death by her husband, Earl D. McGough; a son, Jesse Ray McGough; grandson, Chris Franks; parents, Laxie and Zella Daniel Rogers, and two brothers, Dane Rogers and Jesse Rogers.
Survivors include: two daughters, Edna Sauls of Highland Home and Syble (Vernon) Franks of Rutledge; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Oma Dell Bowden. Active pallbearers were Timmy Franks, Andrew Smith, Ethan Smith, Ray Mcgough, Parrish Furr and Frank Bowden.
James Raymond Callen
James Raymond Callen, a resident of Fort Deposit, died on Friday, April 11, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 13th, with the Rev. Eric Jackson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
Interment will follow at Ruple-Davis Cemetery in Minter.

Mr. Callen was preceded in death by his parents Jack Crum Callen, Sr. and Marianne Gibson Callen.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Davis; daughter Elizabeth Callen of Montgomery; sister, Beth Callen (Allen) Woodard of Andalusia; brothers, Jack (Jeanne) Callen, Jr. of Greenville, Scott (Kindal) Callen of Lowndesboro, Malcolm (Rebecca) Callen of Fort Deposit; six nieces and eight nephews.

Wilbur Earl Thompson
Wilbur Earl Thompson, 78, of Huntsville passed away Monday at his home with his family at his side.
Mr. Thompson graduated from Greenville, AL, High School in 1948. He was a Korean War veteran having served 5 years in the Air Force as part of their Mobile Training Group. He received his degree from Troy State University. His first job after graduation was with NACA at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. He later transferred to the Space Task Group that was the forerunner of the Johnson Research Center in Houston. In 1960 he transferred to Huntsville and began a long career with NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center, retiring in 1988.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Illene Dexter Thompson of Huntsville; his mother, Lura Haire Thompson of Montgomery; two children, son, Larry Thompson, and daughter, Alicia Fanning and her husband, Michael; four grandchildren, Bartlett and Dexter Thompson and Anna and Rachel Fanning, all of Huntsville; brother, Malcolm Thompson and his wife, Jean, of Greenville; sisters, Betty Cardinale and husband, Frank, of Greenville and Carolyn Gibbs of Montgomery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:30 on Wednesday, April 9th at Trinity United Methodist Church at 607 Airport Road followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Lung Association of Alabama or Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund or to a charity of your choice.
Evelyn Ferriestine Gibson
Evelyn Ferriestine Gibson, 83 of Fort Deposit, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008.
Church services were held Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Antioch East Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ronnie Boulware officiating. Burial will follow in Moriah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
Visitation was held Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gibson is preceded in death by six brothers.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by husband, Milton M. Gibson of Ft. Deposit; son, Ronald (Peggy) Gibson of Ft. Deposit; daughters, Mary Dianne (Lionel) Lowe of Lumberton, Miss., Ella Carrol Groebner of Ft. Deposit, Angelia Margaret (Kerry) Lunsford of Acworth, Ga; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Stella (Gaston) Cowart of Greenville.
