Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Holt, age 71, of Walker Ford Rd., Flintville, TN, who died Friday, January 9, 2004 at the residence, will be held Monday, January 12, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Payne officiating.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Holt was a native of Cherokee County, AL, a seamstress for the Serbin & Lee Companies, and a member of the Rock Church of Jesus.
Survivors include her husband: Charles Baxter Holt of Flintville, TN; 2 daughters: Denese Honea of Flintville, TN, Tanya Holt of Fayetteville, TN; 3 sons: Rickey Holt of Fayetteville, TN, Ronnie Holt & Britt Holt both of Flintville, TN; 2 sisters: Minnin Brown of Fayetteville, TN, Louise Billions of New Market, AL; 4 brothers: Aaron McKin of Elora, TN, Ernie Lee McKin, Reed McKin, & Howard McKin all of Fayetteville, TN; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Mildred Malone
Mrs. Mildred Malone, age 89, of Hazel Green, AL, died Saturday, January 10, 2004.
Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her husband: Ed Malone.
Survivors include 1 son: William L. ‘Bill’ Malone; daughter-in-law: Elaine J. Malone; 3 grandchildren: Joseph Malone of Dickson, TN, Anna Maria West and Jeff Malone of Hazel Green, AL; 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Juanita Ables of Harms, TN, Ruby Corse of Canton, OH.
Mrs. Malone was a member of the Charity Missionary Baptist Church for 65 years.
Graveside services will be Monday, January 12, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Charity Cemetery with Dr. Warren Herring officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Charity Missionary Baptist Church General Fund, 1127 Charity Lane, Hazel Green, AL 35750.

He was an assembly line repairman for Amana, a veteran of the U.S. Army, a volunteer fireman for 16 years with the Lincoln County Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Hannah’s Gap Baptist Church.
