Graveside services for Daisy Harrison Usry, 85, of Gadsden will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Crestwood Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Stanton officiating and Collier-Butler Funeral Home of Gadsden in charge.
Mrs. Usry died Thursday at her home.
Survivors include her nephew, William Gunnels.
Mrs. Usry was a teacher in the Gadsden City School System for many years.

Howell
Services for Prentice Louise Howell, 81, of Anniston will be today at 3 p.m. at Brown and Kughn Memory Chapel with Rev. Danny Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Howell died Saturday.
Survivors include a sister, Matilda Ozella Edwards of Scottsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be J.C. Carter, Speedy Ball, Randy Doering, Steve Edwards, Boyd Edwards and Richard Brown.
Mrs. Howell was a native of Jackson County and a longtime resident of Calhoun County. She was a retired cosmetologist and a self-employed beautician. Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by a son, Harlan Howell.

Services for infant Patrick Chad Laws of Roanoke will be today at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Rush officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends until service time at the funeral home.
The infant died Monday at Hospice LaGrange.
Survivors include his parents, Kiley and Buffy Laws of Roanoke; grandparents, Gene Laws of Rock Mills and Elton and Becky Overton of Roanoke; great-grandparents, Wayne and Ismar Burke of Rock Mills and Louise Overton of Roanoke; and several aunts and uncles.
The infant was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Laws; and great-grandparents, William Overton, James and Tommie Ray Laws, and Lester and Pauline Harcrow.

Services for David Allen Peek, 41, of Leesburg will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home in Centre with Revs. Calvin Privette and Aaron Coffey officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Peek died Monday at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden.
Survivors include two sons, Brandon Peek of Gadsden and Matthew Peek of Virginia; a daughter, Hollie Peek of Centre; his parents, Frank and Jean Peek of Leesburg; a brother, Jeffery Peek of Gadsden; a sister, Hollie Francis of Leesburg; and grandmother, Juanita Horne of Gadsden.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Peek, Matthew Peek, Paul Harp, Jeffery Peek, Mark Womack and Scott Saint.
Mr. Peek was a native of California and a member of the Nazarene Church.

Services for James Edward Adams, 64, of Ohatchee will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory with Revs. Mike Trader and Whitt Hibbs officiating. Burial will be at Oak Bowery Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Adams died Sunday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a sister, Opal Hyatt of Ohatchee a sister-in-law, Laura Adams; and three nieces, Lillian Crim, Betty Bennett and Regina Adams.
Pallbearers will be Steve Crim, Brandon Hamilton, Danny Hamilton, Jesse Hamilton, Mile Alward, and Randy Humphries.
Mr. Adams was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was preceded in death by his brother, William C. Adams, a sister, Jean Adams, and his parents, Lillie Mae and Lee Adams.

Services for Virginia Earl Boggs Albright, 79, of Roanoke will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 tonight.
Mrs. Albright died Sunday at Traylor Nursing Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah A. Sutton and Pam Davidson, both of Tallassee; two sisters, Sammie Hall of Roanoke and Barbara Johnson of Topeka, Kansas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Albright was born to William Earl and Lennie Mae Harper Boggs. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rock Mills Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin B. Albright. The family is accepting flowers and requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Rd. N.E., Atlanta, GA 30329.

Services for William E. “Dick” Dickerson, 72, of Southhaven, Miss. will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel in Centre with Rev. Randy Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in Gnatville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight.
Mr. Dickerson died Saturday in Memphis, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Sanford Dickerson of Southhaven, two sons, Roger Dickerson of Southhaven and William E. Dickerson Jr. of Memphis; two daughters, Patricia Robinson and Theresa Brewer, both of Memphis; a brother, Ted Dickerson of Faulkner, Miss.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Gilley of Gnatville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry Highfield, Ryan Gilley, Jo Jo Odam, Bob Jones, Van Ledbetter, Jerald Wheeler and Jerry Gilley. Honorary pallbearers will be James Sanford, Larry Sanford, Jae Chung, Michael Farmer, Carlos Farmer, Kevin Farmer and Justin Teet.
A native of Mississippi, Mr. Dickerson was the son of the late William and Wanda Oliver Dickerson. He was retired from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. He was a Baptist.
