CEDAR BLUFF
Services for David Anthony Helm, 41, of Cedar Bluff will be Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home in Centre with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Helm died Sunday at his home.
Survivors include a daughter, Brittany Helms of Cedar Bluff; a son, Michael Helm of Cedar Bluff; and his parents, Linda McKinney of Louisville, Ky. and David W. Helm of Hokes Bluff.
Honorary pallbearers will be all personal friends.
Mr. Helm was a native of California and a Navy veteran.

Johnson
TUSKEGEE
Memorial services for Lifus Johnson Jr., 67, of Tuskegee, formerly of Anniston, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Tuskegee University Chapel with Rev. Ray Copeland officiating and Peoples Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Johnson died Sunday in Tuskegee.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, LaTanya and Fred Quarles of Virginia Beach, Va. and Lynn Talley Jackson of Anniston; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary and Lisa Johnson of Danville, Ky. and Victor Johnson of Orlando, Fla. a surrogate mother, Dessie Lee Travis of Brewton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marva and Alonzo Pettus of Waynesboro, Va., Mary Sutton of Detroit and Nettie and Jackie Barton of Brewton; a brother, Alfred E. Johnson of Atlanta; a special friend, Bernice Wilson of Tuskegee and Huntsville; and seven grandchildren.
He was a former teacher in the Thankful community and had been a Tuskegee City Councilman.

Services for Karen Jordan, 39, of Centre will be announced by Perry Funeral Home.
Miss Jordan died Tuesday in Gadsden.

Littrell
Services for Esther Littrell, 90, of Anniston will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Brownfield Funeral Home in Brownfield, Texas with Rev. Michael W. Hasha officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-6 tonight at Brown and Kughn Memory Chapel and two hours prior to service time Monday at the funeral home in Texas.
Mrs. Littrell died Monday in Anniston.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Louise Galyean of Anniston and Cleo Miller of Mosier, Ore.; a son, Leo Littrell of Levelland, Texas; a sister, Bettie Hansard of Brownfield; a brother, Willie Blair of Meadow, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Littrell was a native of Logan, W. Va., and had lived in west Texas most of her life. She had lived in Anniston the past year and a half and was a member of Golden Springs Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Manuel
WEAVER
Services for Dorothy Bonds “Dot” Manuel, 64, of Weaver will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory with Rev. Tim Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Manuel died Wednesday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, John Manuel of Weaver; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna Bonds Williams and Joseph Williams of Jacksonville and Barbara Manuel of Weaver; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Joleen Manuel of Coos Bay, Ore.; two brothers, Milton J. Harris and Jerry W. Harris, both of Anniston; five grandchildren, Ashleigh Manuel, Bryan Manuel, Alexa Manuel, Marissa Manuel and Shaina Manuel; three nieces and two nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Harris and Milton Harris Jr.
Mrs. Manuel was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Moose. She was retired from Food Services at Fort McClellan after 24 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Bernice Harris.

HEFLIN
Services for infant Dorothy Elizabeth Prestridge of Heflin will be today at 2 p.m. at Ai Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Leggett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends noon to 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The infant died Monday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her parents, Wayne Prestridge and Jennifer Cornelia Prestridge of Heflin; and her grandparents, Horace McMahan, Jackie Prestridge and Marcella Prestridge, all of Heflin.
The infant was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Jo McMahan.

Worley

Graveside services for Hazel N. Worley, 91, of Talladega will be today at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Lee Ann Scarborough officiating and Usrey Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Worley died Tuesday at her home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hubbard of Talladega; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Worley was native of Maryland, had lived most of her life in Tampa, Fla., and had lived in Talladega 10 years. She had been a registered nurse.

Mrs. Blackburn died Wednesday at her home.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Keith of Talladega and Peggy Browning of Guild, Tenn.; a son, Larry Blackburn of Oxford; three sisters, Mae Banta of Denham Springs, La., Billie Nagel of McGehee, Ark. and Bonnie Waldrup of Heber Springs, Ark.; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Cooper, Gary Cooper, Randy Martin, Gregory Keith, Barry Keith, Michael Keith and Jason Myrick. Honorary pallbearers will be David Yates, great-grandsons and nephews.
Mrs. Blackburn was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Talladega 60 years. She was retired from Palm Beach Company after 37 years of service and had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 40 years. She was a former member of the Allie Turner Sunday School Class and the Ladies Circle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cub Blackburn, and a grandchild, Merry Beth Holden.

Graveside services for Gladys Lorraine Holloway Colley, 69, of Anniston will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Edgemont Cemetery with Rev. James King officiating and Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends 5-7 tonight at the funeral home.
Ms. Colley died Wednesday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include three sisters, Ruth Laney of Anniston, Naomi Dickey of Eastaboga and Evelyn Manoff of Baltimore, Md.
Mr. Colley was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of the Fountain of Life Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Parker and Nora Holloway; a son, Robert Clifton; and a brother, Frank Edward Holloway.

Davis
HEFLIN
Services for Rev. Raymond Clarence Davis, 80, of Heflin will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Dryden Funeral Home with T.J. Morgan, Eugene Robinson, Earl Davis and Chris Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis died Thursday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Davis of Heflin; two sisters Faye Davis and Sue Davis, both of Heflin; a brother, Harold Davis of Heflin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Benefield, Tony Waddell, Doyle Benefield, Garfield Daniel, Bill Tucker and Tim Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
Mr. Davis was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County and had worked in maintenance. He was a member of Old Hopewell Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II and the
Korean War.
