Ramey
PELL CITY
Services for Donald Edwin Ramey, 46, of Pell City, formerly of Jefferson County, will be today at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Pell City with Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Ramey died Thursday in Birmingham.
Survivors include a daughter, Tamika Ramey of Center Point; a son, Michael Ramey of Pell City; his mother, Jessie B. Ramey of Center Point; two sisters and their husbands, Tawanah and Larry Cagle of Center Point and Sylvia and Daryl Jones of Pinson; two brothers, John Ramey of Tennessee and Robert Ramey of Remlap; and a special friend, Donna Adams of Pell City.
Pallbearers will be Doug Rowan, Michael Adams, Timothy Davis and Grant McLaughlin.
Mr. Ramey was a native of Jefferson County, where he lived most of his life, and had lived in Pell City since 1987. He had served in the Marine Corps.

Services for Charles Sparks, 76, of Jacksonville will be announced by K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory.
Mr. Sparks died Friday at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Stephens
WADLEY
Services for Thelma Parrish Stephens, 85, of Wadley will be today at 11 a.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Home in Roanoke with Rev. Richard Richie officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens died Thursday at Randolph Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Wheeler of Wadley; a son, Ronald Stephens of Wadley; a sister, Margaret Gradante of Dothan; two grandchildren, Stephen Wheeler and April Richardson, and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Wheeler, Raymond Abercrombie, Wayne Stephens, Wesley Smith, Teryl Stone and John Robert Miller.
Mrs. Stephens was a lifelong resident of the Randolph County area and was the daughter of L.B. and Florence Hanson Parrish. She was a homemaker and a member of Abanda Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Stephens.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road N.E., Atlanta, GA 30329.

Services for Mary Hartline Todd, 54, of Gaylesville will be today at 1 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Revs. Steve Bishop and Sanford Deberry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Perry Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mrs. Todd died Thursday at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Todd; a daughter, Beth Todd of Gaylesville; six brothers and their wives, Robert and Judy Hartline, James and Kathy Hartline, Leroy and Glenda Hartline, and Johnny and Karen Hartline, all of Gaylesville, David and Pat Hartline of Lyerly, Ga. and Tommy and Pam Hartline of Valley Head; five sisters and their husbands, Vester and Junior McCullough, LaVon and J.B. Gentry, Sandra and Glen Wilbanks and Carolyn and Donald Payne, all of Gaylesville and Rachel and Danny Chamblee of Lyerly, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Todd was a Cherokee County native and was the daughter of the late Rob and Maude Townsend Hartline. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was office manager for Todd Contracting Company.

HEFLIN
Services for George Wilson Cook, 86, of Heflin will be today at 3 p.m. at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ralph Cook and T.J Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Cook died Friday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Cook, Willie Mae Cook and Bernice Cook, all of Heflin; a brother-in-law, Bill Barber of Littleton, Colo., and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cook, Alan Whitley, Phillip Whitley, Lex Brown, Brad Edwards and Ken Minter.
Mr. Cook was a native of Cleburne County, where he lived most of his life. He was a civil engineer, an Air Force veteran and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lelia Jacob Cook; his mother, Ann Cook; and his father, former probate judge Grady W. Cook.

Services for Naomi Smith Ford, 95, of Talladega will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Usrey Chapel with Rev. John Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-9 p.m.at the funeral home
Ms. Ford died Saturday at her residence.
Survivors include her daughter, Mildred Ford of Talladega; four sons, John D. Ford Sr. of Panama City, Fla., James D. Ford of Cedar Bluff, William L. Ford of Talladega and Charles Leslie Hayes of Gadsden; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Mike Gallahare, Robert Butterworth, Bob Simpson, Eric Burrage, Shaw Gaines, Wade Gordon, John D. Ford Jr., Jim L. Ford, John F. Ford and Gene Raymond Butterworth.
Ms. Ford was a native of Carrollton, Ga. and lived most of her life in Talladega. She attended Central Baptist Church and was a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Talladega. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank F. Ford Sr.; two sons, Frank F. Ford Jr. and Bobby L. "Buddy" Ford Sr.; two grandsons, Bobby L. Ford Jr. and James D. "Jimbo" Ford Jr.; two daughters, Fredricka Ford and Sarah D. Ford.

Services for William May Henderson, 83, of Gaylesville will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford DeBerry officiating. Burial will be at Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6-8 p.m. The body will remain at the funeral home through the service.
Mr. Henderson died Saturday at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Gussie Henderson of Gaylesville; a daughter, Peggy Connell and her husband, Bobby, of Gaylesville; three grandchildren, Todd Connell and his wife, Angie, Valerie Connell and Sherry Connell; three great-grandchildren, Elisha Connell, Tiffany Connell and Brandon Connell; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Billy Black, Jack Black, Ted Elrod, Larry Graham, Billy Carman and Jason Bullard.
Mr. Henderson was a native of Cherokee County and was a retired security guard. He was the son of the late Charlie and Martha Stephens Henderson.

Mr. Holt died Wednesday at his residence.
Survivors include his son and his wife, Kerry and Shanna Holt of Anniston and two grandchildren, Daniel Holt and Caroline Holt of Anniston.
Mr. Holt was a native of Cherokee County and had lived in Calhoun County since 1965. He was an Army veteran and was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Prior Holt and Beatrice Holt.
