Lothrop
COLUMBUS, Ga.
Graveside services for Annie Bullard Gulsby Lothrop, 92, of Columbus, formerly of Talladega, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery with Rev. David Stewart officiating and McMillin Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Lothrop died Sunday at Columbus Hospice Care Center.
Survivors include two daughters-in-law, Mary Geraldine Gulsby of Columbus and Ida Gulsby of Talladega; five stepchildren, Dianne McAllen, Rosie Gabe, Laura Gabe, Robert Gabe and David Gabe; a sister-in-law, Vannie Ruth Bullard, five stepgrandchildren, a step-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lothrop was a native of Crenshaw County and had lived three years in Talladega before moving to Columbus.
She was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Johnson; her husbands, David Levi Gulsby and Albert F. Lothrop; two sons, Hugh Thomas Gulsby and James Wesley Gulsby; and two grandchildren, Tommy Gulsby and Jimmy Gulsby.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind Foundation Thomas Gulsby Fund or the First United Methodist Church of Talladega Jimmy Gulsby Scholarship Fund.

McClure
Services for Robert E. McClure, 72, of Anniston will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Bobby Owens and Ted Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. McClure died Monday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Smith McClure of Anniston; two sons and their wives, Gregory Wade and Wendy McClure of Eastaboga and Robert Bruce and Donna McClure of Pell City; a brother, James Duncan McClure of McDonough, Ga.; and three grandchildren, Morgan McClure, Ashleigh McClure and Matthew McClure.
Pallbearers will be Joe McCaroon, Crandell Holley, Doug McClure, Clay Mitcham, Paul Powell and James McClure.
Mr. McClure was a native of Clarksville, Tenn., and was retired from Anniston Army Depot after 30 years of service in the transportation department.
He served in the Navy and was a veteran of the Korean conflict and was a member of Coldwater United Methodist Church since 1975.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ellison McClure and Mattie McClure; and a sister, Druscilla McClure Duncan.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to Coldwater United Methodist Church.

Services for Angelica Morris, 19, of Talladega will be announced by Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary.
Ms. Morris died Sunday at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City.

Neff
Graveside services of Linda L. Neff, 47, of Anniston will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery with K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in charge.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Neff died Monday in Jacksonville.
Survivors include her life partner, Belinda K. Fordham of Anniston; a daughter, Jennifer Neff of Jacksonville; a son and his wife, Jeffrey and Regina Neff of Clarksville, Tenn.; a sister, Jean Fisher of Pflugerville, Texas; two brothers, Lee Lockhart of Middleburg, Va. and Denny Lockhart of Woodstock, Va.; four grandchildren, Mitchell Neff, Alex Lomax, Brandon Neff and Corey Neff, and a niece and six nephews.
Mrs. Neff had lived in Calhoun County 16 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Lockhart, and her mother, Leslie Cornell.

Simmons
TALLADEGA
Services for Cynthia Franklin Simmons, 41, of Talladega will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church with Revs. B.E. McKinney, Rickey McKinney and Henry McGhee officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary in charge.
The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mrs. Simmons died Wednesday at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham.
Survivors include a daughter, Aria Patrice Simmons of Talladega; a son, Kendrick Franklin of Talladega; a parent, Willie M. Rice of Talladega; two sisters, Patricia Franklin of Clarkston, Ga. and Mary Small of Bronx, N.Y.; three brothers, Elijah Small and Darryl Rice, both of Talladega and Gregory Franklin of Columbia, S.C., and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Menefield, Gregory Rice, Charles Brown, George Millender, Kejah Millender and Reuben Bolden.
Mrs. Simmons was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and was a former employee of Citizen's Baptist Medical Center.
She attended Talladega High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Simmons, and a sister, Sylvia F. Wallace.

Services for Juan Gabriel Alejandro Velazquez, 24, of Wedowee will be today at 2 p.m. at Dryden Funeral Home in Heflin.
Burial will be in Xoclan Cemetery in Merida, Mexico.
The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Velazquez died Sunday in Heflin.
Survivors include his wife, Isaura Mendez Juares of Merida; his father and mother, Leonel Alejandro Velazquez Sr. and Maria Velazquez Ramirez, both of Merida; a son, Joshue Gabriel Velazquez of Merida; a sister, Maria Isabel Velazquez of Merida; and three brothers, Leonel Alejandro Velazquez Jr., Luis Alejasquez Velazquez and Miguel Alejandro Velazquez, all of Wedowee.
Mr. Velazquez was a native of Aguadulce Veracruz, Mexico and had lived in Wedowee the past year.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
