Services for Richard Harold Hopkins of Anniston will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory.
Mr. Hopkins died Thursday at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

Melton
WEDOWEE
Services for Ray Melton, 70, of Wedowee will be today at 1 p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Grooms officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowdon, Ga. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mr. Melton died Thursday at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Phillips Melton of Wedowee; two daughters, Kim Traylor of Birmingham and Shawn Mitchell of Roanoke; a brother, James Melton of Wedowee, four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Yates, Rusty Sanders, Johnny Sanders, W.C. Pate, Chip Cofield and David Cofield.
Mr. Melton was a lifelong resident of Randolph County and the son of William Riley and Mable McLeroy Melton. He had been employed at Handley Mills and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church.

Roberts
OXFORD
Graveside services for Maebell P. Roberts, 86, of Oxford will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston with Talladega Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends 5-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roberts died Thursday at Beverly Health Care Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Margie Cole of Piedmont; a son, Jerald Roberts of Oxford; a sister, Susie Cottle of Oxford; two brothers, James Mashburn of Ohatchee and Gaines Mashburn of Enterprise, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Mrs. Roberts was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was retired from Mary Brandon Nursing Home in Oxford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Roberts.

Services for Donna Kay Swafford, 50, of Anniston will be today at 11 a.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory with Dr. Rick Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Ashland City Cemetery in Ashland.
Mrs. Swafford died Thursday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her former husband, Ronald Swafford of Anniston; a daughter, Ashley Swafford Belden of Anniston; her mother, Magalene Hallman of Anniston; a brother, Paul Hallman of Anniston; three sisters, Tracy McNeal and Peggy Baldwin, both of Anniston, and Barbara Thomas of Georgia; and two grandchildren, Gavis Belden and Cody Belden.
Pallbearers will be Brad Hallman, Jason Barrett, Chris Hallman, Gary Wilkinson, Alan Thomas, Shawn Hallman, Gary McNeal and Jeff Gross.
Mrs. Swafford was a native of Clay County and had lived in Anniston most of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Hallman, and a brother, Steve Hallman.

Services for Leola C. Brooks, 84, of Anniston, will be Tuesday at noon at the Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory Chapel with Rev. David Gilmore officiating. Burial will be at Edgemont Cemetery. Family will receive friends 10a.m.-noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brooks died Saturday at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter Margaret Moss; a brother, W.A. Collier; a sister, Myrtle Hill; and a grandson Mickey Benadum.
Pallbearers will be Bill Hinds, Roger Borders and Richard Nickelson.
Mrs. Brooks attended Hillcrest Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Red Brooks.

Services for Louise G. Cummings, 90, of Jacksonville, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father Bill Lucas officiating. The body will be at a rosary mass Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Cummings died Saturday at Jacksonville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Dick Martin of Jacksonville; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Cummings of Wytheville, Va.; a sister, Marguerite North of Elmira, N.Y.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Martin, Charles Cummings Jr., Troy Barnes, Eric Link, Andrew Tair and Clayton Cox.
Mrs. Cummings, a resident of Jacksonville for the past 15 years, was a native of Elmira, N.Y. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and a Dominican Tertiary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leo T. Cummings; a granddaughter, Mary Beth Martin; a grandson, Timothy Cummings; two sisters, Gladys Newell and Barbara Besanceney and a niece, Babs Besanceney.

Mrs. Hopkins died Sunday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Ruger of Piedmont; two sons, Walter Angles of Piedmont and Billy Hopkins of Jacksonville; two brothers, Jessie Parris and Alton Parris, both of Anniston; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hopkins was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hopkins; parents, George and Gertrude Parris; and son, Morris Angles.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Crestwood Funeral Home. The body will lie at the church one hour prior to service on Tuesday.
Mrs. Howard died Saturday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include six children, Roy (Reba) Howard Jr. of Owensboro, Ky., Dalphinee Busbee of Leeds, Shelby Read of Glencoe, Bobby (Miriam) Howard of Lebanon, Ore., Billy (Helen) Howard of Lincoln, and Betty Quinn of Wellington; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Bolin of Glencoe and Toy Heath of Pickens; two brothers, Achaia (Martha) Heath of Glencoe and James (Sedalia) Heath of Ohatchee; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Chaihan Korn and Dr. Ed Thompson and grandsons.
Mrs. Howard was a member of Heath Baptist Church.

Mrs. Logan died Saturday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph E. Logan of Wellington; a daughter, Sandra Brewer of Louisville, Ky.; two sons, Ralph E. Logan Jr., of Jacksonville and Christopher Logan of Wellington; her mother, Lola Garrett of Louisville, Ky.; four sisters, Betty Lashely, Temple Scott, Roberta Ksendzuk and Brenda Barson, all of Louisville, Ky.; a brother, James Holmer of Louisville, Ky.; and two grandchildren, Jesse Allen Wright and Taylor Ray Logan.
Pallbearers will be Don Morgan, A.J. Morgan, Bart Stovall, Tim Newton, Michael Reaves and Kenneth McCrelles.
Mrs. Logan was a native of Louisville, Ky. and a resident of Calhoun County for the past 16 years.
