COLDWATER
Services for Robert "Bob" White, 72, of Coldwater, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Cavender officiating. Burial will follow in Pinetucky Cemetery in Michville with Miller Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends tonight 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. White died Saturday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret White of Anniston; a daughter, Sheron Willis of Alex City; two stepsons, Alvin Don Payne of Heflin and Ronny Lynn Payne of Ranburne; five grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren; a great-stepgrandchild; and a sister, Ester Forrest of Houston, Texas.
Mr. White retired from Anniston Army Depot; and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Services for Lee Adkison, 27, of Piedmont, will be announced by Thompson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends tonight 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Adkison died Tuesday at his home.

SOUTH PITTSBURG, TENN.
Services for Rev. Floyd Earl Anderson, 69, of South Pittsburg, Tenn., formerly of Cedartown, Ga., will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Litesey Funeral Home with Revs. Harvey Brown and Alfred Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Aragon City Cemetery. The family will receive friends today 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rev. Anderson died Wednesday.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Anderson of South Pittsburg; three sons, Earl Anderson Jr. of Rockmart, Randy Anderson of Jacksonville and Terry Shores of Summerville, Ga.; one stepson, Richard Barnes of Jasper, Tenn.; two daughters, Vicki Polston of Rockmart and Kathy Grimes of Piedmont; one stepdaughter, Barbara Jones of South Pittsburg; one brother John Anderson of Jackson, Ga.; four sisters, Martha Pilgrim of Cedartown, Christine Hudgins of Stevens, Sara Chastain of LaGrange, Ga. and Pauline Pittman of Griffin, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Rev. Anderson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Brittain
Beulah G. Brittain, 95, of Anniston, died Nov. 30, at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors included two daughters, Janet Coleman Barker of Rancho Mirage, Calif. and Barbara Coleman Foster of Olathe, Kan.; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two great-great-granddaughters.
Mrs. Brittain was a longtime member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church and the Nackie Jirels Sunday School Class.

Services for Elizabeth Geraldine Prather (Owen) Brown, 69, of Jacksonville, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Carl Peevy officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Brown died Tuesday at her home.
Survivors include four daughters, Rebecca Owen Stinson, Tracy Owen, Melanie Brown, all of Jacksonville, and Kay Brown of Huntsville; one sister, Dorris Lee Prather Culbreth of Dothan; three grandchildren, Derek C. Raulerson, Justin L. Johnson and Natalie Raulerson; and one great-grandchild, Brooke Abigail Raulerson.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Reese Stinson, Derek Christian Raulerson, Earl Ray Slayton and Justin Larry Johnson.
Mrs. Brown was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of the Golden Belles of Fort McClellan, Ladies Auxiliary of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 4295, American Legion Post 57, Annie Forney Daughette Garden Club and VFW Post 924.

BOSTON, Mass.
Services for Myrtle Byears Davis, 82, of Boston, Mass., formerly of Ragland, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. E. D. Taylor, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery in Ragland with Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary in charge. The body will be at the church an hour before services.
Ms. Davis died Sunday at Faulkner Hospital in Boston.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Turner of San Diego, Dr. Betty Brantley of St. Louis, and Helen Cameron of Boston; a son, Rufus McGowan of Hampton, Va.; a sister, Geneva Higgins of Ragland; a brother, Beason Byears of Ragland; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be friends.
Ms. Davis was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church of Boston and a retired apartment complex co-manager. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Fannie Byers; and a daughter, Tommie Brock.

Mrs. Gray died Wednesday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include one son, David Gray of Oxford; two daughters, Donna Thompson and Wanda Cooper, both of Oxford; three sisters, Helen Heptinstall of Oxford, Betty Cater of White Plains and Ada Lou Stokes of Gadsden; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gray was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Oxford. She was employed for 30 years at Higginbotham Printing and five years with the State Employment Service.

Graveside services for Talmadge W. Hancock, 81, of Gadsden will be today at 1 p.m. at Ryan Creek Baptist cemetery with Rev. Carol Swan officiating and Mickelsen-McGee Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Hancock died Tuesday at McGuffy Nursing Home.
Survivors include four daughters, Myris Sauls of Covington, Ga., Gloria Wood and Kim Cromer, both of Piedmont and Nancy Browder of Rockrun; three sons, Randel Hancock of Sandrock, Ronald Hancock of Gadsden and Byron Hancock of Piedmont; four sisters, Mertie Ponder, Laura Williams, Volder Freeman and Ella Phillips; two brothers, Clarence Hancock and Alver Hancock; 19 grandchildren, Randy Hancock, Sam Hancock, Carolyn Hancock, Shelia Sauls, Shane Browder, Kevin Browder, Phillips Sauls, Brad Sauls, James Hancock, Amber Hancock, Drew Kirk, Savanha Kirk, Kirsta Grissom, Robyn Wood, Shaun Wood, Shena Cromer, Nicki Cromer, Andy Hancock and Bridgette Hulsey; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hancock was born and raised in Cullman and lived in the Piedmont area for the last 40 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a truck driver for 30 years.

Mr. Posey died Wednesday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Honea and Janice Thackery, both of Anniston; two sons, David Posey of Hamilton and Wilbur D. Posey of Titusville, Fla.; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Mr. Posey was a native of Panama City, Fla., and was a Baptist. He was also a World War II Army veteran and received two purple hearts. He retired from the Anniston Army Depot and owned Posey's Garage for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Caswell Posey.

Services for Orville "Chic" Ray, 84, of Piedmont, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with Revs. Hayward Clark and Rodney Ragsdale officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Ray died Tuesday at Piedmont Health Care Center.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Ray of Piedmont; three sons, Jimmy Ray of Piedmont and his wife, Sarah, Wayne Ray and his, wife, Jeanette, of Opelika, and Garry Ray and his wife, Diana, of Gadsden; a brother, Robert Ray of Hokes Bluff; six grandchildren, Brian Ray, Marc Ray, Carey Ray, Tressa Patty, Tanya Kitchens and Crystal Gail Ray; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brian Ray, Carey Ray, Steve Goss, Ted McDowell, Hubert Steed, Joe Gowens, Timmy Gowens and David Duhon. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Lozahatchee Masonic Lodge 97 F & AM, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Post 524, and the staff of Piedmont Health Care Center.
Mr. Ray was a native of Cherokee County and a resident of Piedmont most of his life. He was a member of the Piedmont Congregational Holiness Church; a World War II Army veteran, having served six years in the European Theater; a member of VFW Post 4263, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Post 524 and Lozahatchee Masonic Lodge 97 F & AM. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company of Gadsden with 34 years of service. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Glen Ray; his parents, Bill and Nelly Ray; and three sisters.
