Services for Amzy Gamel Lee, 81, of Anniston will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Brown & Kughn Memory Chapel. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee died Sunday in Anniston.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Golden Springs Baptist Prayer Ministry or Library Fund at 500 Choccolocco Road, Anniston 36207. Donations can also be made to the Parker Memorial Renovation Fund, 1205 Quintard Ave., Anniston 36201.

Mays
ATLANTA
Services for Pearl Mays, 87, of Atlanta and formerly of Phenix City and Roanoke, will be today at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel in Roanoke with Rev. Cecil Halsey officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Mays died Saturday at Grady Hospital in Atlanta.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Norris of Norcross, Ga.; three sisters, Iva Folsom and Virginia Pike of Roanoke and Marjorie Schilef of Atlanta; two brothers, Glen Henry of Roanoke and Jimmy Henry of Valley; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Henry, Mike Estes, Steve Pike, Jerry Pike, Gary Pike and Nathan McClure.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Mays was born on Jan. 25, 1914, to Wyatt and Mollie Mitchum Henry. She was a member of West End Baptist Church in Atlanta and had been employed with Dorch Baking Company.

McKinzie
TALLADEGA
Services for James Horace McKinzie, 80, of Talladega were Sunday at 2 p.m. at Midway Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Bailey officiating. Burial was in Midway Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. McKinzie died Friday at Baptist Medical Center-Montclair.
Survivors include a son, David McKinzie of Talladega; a sister, Sadie Tipton of Talladega; a brother, William McKinzie of Talladega; a grandchild, a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jason Moreland, Wayne Bailey, Stephen Robinson, Travis Robinson and Michael Bailey.
Mr. McKinzie was a native of Talladega County and live most of his life in Talladega. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Dial.

Services for Elois Morris Moss, 86, of Oxford will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Revs. Burgess Austin and Billy Kitchens officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunny Eve Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moss died Saturday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include four daughters, Elva Jean Evans, Brenda Moss Hunter and Joan Moss Pritchett, all of Oxford, and Joyce Ann Laymon of Dearmanville; a son, Terry Wayne Moss of Austell, Ga.; three sisters, Annie Laura Haynes of Anniston, Lillian Houck of Adamsville and Mozell Dich of Eastaboga; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Pritchett, Jason Pritchett, Brian Moss, Todd Moles, Wendell Moles and Cole Ingram.
Mrs. Moss was a native of Cleburne County and a resident of Oxford for the past 55 years. She was a member of the Sunny Eve Baptist Church and a former member of the Oxford Senior Citizens program.

Services for Clyde Shew, 67, of Websters Chapel will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Crestwood Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Crestwood Funeral Home.
Mr. Shew died Saturday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include daughter Vera A. McGlaughn and her husband Phil of White Plains; son Clyde D. Shew and his wife Charlene of Hokes Bluff; brothers William Gerald Shew and his wife Judy, and Paul Stanley and his wife Judy; four grandchildren, Carmen Parris, Amy Loveless, Ross McGlaughn and Kendra Shew; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
Mr. Shew was a resident of Calhoun County for 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Nellie Shew; and brothers Billy, Eugene and Claude Shew.

Services for Clark Smith Sr., 52, of 500 5th Ave. S.E., formerly of Anniston, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Anniston Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Janice Blackmon officiating. The body will be at the chapel at 10 a.m.
Mr. Smith died Wednesday at his home.
Survivors include a daughter, Myseha Bell of Cleveland; four sons, Chris, Clee, Cannel and Clark Smith Jr., all of Cleveland; stepfather Wallace Elston of Anniston; two sisters, Anthia Smith of Jacksonville and Sojouner Knalls of Cleveland; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Smith was an Anniston native. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Eunice Smith Elston; and his father, Mr. Marion Smith.

Mrs. Stephens was a member of Geraldine First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Stanfield, second husband Robert Stephens, and two sons, Billy Stanfield and James Wendell Stanfield.

Mrs. Thrower died Sunday at Stringfellow Hospital.
Survivors include daughters Martha Thrower Penny of Blue Mountain and Joan Thrower Rollins of Heflin; grandchildren Danny Willingham, Wayne Willingham, Debbie Hayes, Jimmie Nabors, Cathy Nabors, Patricia Haynes, Henry Nabors and Wendy Terry; 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Terry, Danny Willingham, Jimmy Nabors, Bud Davidson, James Edward Thrower, Wayne Willingham and Freddie Turner.
Mrs. Thrower was retired from Blue Mountain Industries and a member of Blue Mountain Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey J. Thrower; a son, Billy Thrower; a daughter, Mary Frances Willingham; and a granddaughter, Charlotte Davis.

Dewberry
UNION CITY, Ga.
Services for Lawrence Dewberry, 85, of Union City, formerly of Lineville, will be today at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Braden Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service time at the church.
Mr. Dewberry died Thursday at Christian City Nursing Home in Fulton County, Ga.
Survivors include a sister, Mabel Thomas of Birmingham; a brother, Larcus B. Dewberry of Lineville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dewberry was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. He was a World War II Army veteran and had been employed by Higgins Manufacturing Co. for several years. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Stephens Dewberry.
