Williams
Services for Dain Kamper Williams, 85, of Anniston will be today at 2 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church with Rev. Mark Fitzhugh officiating. A memorial service will also be today at 10 a.m. at Canterbury United Methodist Church Chapel in Birmingham with Rev. Sam Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Oxford Memorial Gardens with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends 1:30 p.m. until service time in the King Parlor of Grace Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Williams died Saturday at Mt. Royal Towers.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Niena Williams Goodwin and James Franklin Goodwin of Birmingham and Nancy Williams Hollingsworth and Lawrence Hugh Hollingsworth of Middletown, R.I.; five grandchildren, Kathryn Goodwin Byrd, Julie Goodwin, Jennifer Goodwin Schmidt, Mary Dain Hollingsworth and Ann Holllingsworth; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be William C. Byrd, John Nathan Schmidt, G. Coke Williams, Jr., James Chiles Williams, Fred W. Williams, Jr. and James T. Potter.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Meridian, Miss., and had lived in Anniston most of her life. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Grace Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Johnson Williams Jr.
Memorials can be made to Grace Episcopal Church or a favorite charity.

Hicks
CHICAGO
Services for Cassie Hicks, 69, of Chicago, formerly of Wedowee, will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Stephen's Mission United Methodist Church in Wedowee. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Clark Memorial Funeral Service and Evans Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Ms. Hicks died Nov. 20 at Trinity Hospital in Chicago.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Mary Hicks and Nellie Hicks, both of Chicago; two brothers, Robert Wright Jr. of Gadsden and John Wright and his wife, Bernice, of Wedowee; three sisters, Bernice Harris of Gadsden, Eva Glenn of Bowdon, Ga., and Ida Jessie Bell Wright of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Hicks was a native of Wedowee and had lived in Chicago since the 1940's. She worked in the lodging industry as a hotel manager and later went on to acquire and manage other rental properties. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ida Bell Kimble Wright; two brothers, Otis Wright and Sylvester Wright; and a sister, Fannie Mae Knight.

Hollis
WINTER GARDEN, Fla.
Graveside services for Mattie Hollis, 87, of Winter Garden, formerly of Pell City, will be Friday at 3 p.m. at St. Clair Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Parker officiating and Kilgroe Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service time at the funeral home in Pell City.
Mrs. Hollis died Tuesday.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Merrell of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Weaver; a son, Rodney C. Hollis of Winter Garden; a brother, Robert W. Brown of Winter Garden, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hollis was a longtime resident of Pell City and was retired from the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by her husband, Carless Hollis.

Services for Ina Althea James, 82, of Oxford will be today at 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. James died Monday at Beverly Health Care Center.
Survivors include a daughter and two sons-in-law, Patsy and Verner B. Boyd of Birmingham and James Richeson of Pittsburgh; a sister, Anne Precise of Mesa, Ariz.; two special friends, Wayne and Merl Green of Oxford, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. James was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. James, and a daughter, Joan Richeson.

Services for Minnie Bell Magouirk, 85, of Oxford will be today at 1 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in Anniston with Rev. Kelly Lee officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens.
Mrs. Magouirk died Monday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, James H.E. Goss of Oxford; three brothers, Woodrow Clonts, Hoke Clonts and John Clonts, all of Rome, Ga.; three sisters, Orvelee Pearson of Thomasville, Ga., Edna Graveley of Rome and Geneva Graham of Anniston; seven grandchildren, Rhonda Jean Parks, James Lynn Goss, Melissa Kay Blunier, James W. Goss, Vanessa Gay Pierce, Timothy Michael Goss and Thomas M. Goss, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Magouirk was a member of Liberty Full Gospel Church and was retired from Adelaide Mills.

Mrs. McGatha died Monday at Jacksonville Hospital.
Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Harold and Mildred Bangs and Benny Bangs, all of Piedmont, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Westbrooks, Randall Bangs, Mac McCurdy III, Ken Lee, Jeffery Rollins and Chris Curvin.
Mrs. McGatha was a native of and had lived in the Piedmont area most of her life. She was retired from SCT Yarn and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McGatha; and her parents, Bill and Naomi Lee Bangs.

Services for Nancy Sheffield Parker, 47, of Piedmont will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with Revs. Jimmy Robinson and Jay Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parker died Monday at Jacksonville Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Parker of Piedmont; two daughters, Binky Parker of Piedmont and Misty Jackson of Fort Payne; her mother, Margaret Hill of Bellview, Fla.; her grandmother, Frances E. Head of Dallas, Ga.; three sisters, Micky Meyerhoffer and Jeannie Queen, both of Conyers, Ga. and Della Burge of Piedmont; three brothers, Bobby Goswick Jr. of Tennessee, Danny Goswick of Conyers and Chris Goswick of Centre; and five grandchildren, David Smith, Jessica Smith, Josh Jackson, Tashia Parker and Heather Parker.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Hairrell, Carl Hairrell, Phillip Jackson, Tony Parker, Lloyd Queen, Nathan Johnson, Derek Parker and Lee Burge. Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar Dobbins, Greg Queen, Anthony Queen and Josh Seabolt.
Mrs. Parker was a native of Georgia and had lived in Piedmont 23 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Ray.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha Morris of Heflin; four grandchildren, Jimmy Prater, Barry Morris, DeeGee Barker and Taska Martin; four stepgrandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Prater was a lifelong resident of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Prater, and a son, James Prater.
