Usry
ALEXANDRIA
Graveside services for Orville Eugene Usry, 79, of Alexandria, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jack Causey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Mr. Usry died Wednesday at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Lou Usry of Alexandria; a daughter, Carolyn Bush and her husband, William, of Gadsden; a son, Eddie Usey and his wife, Wendy, of Oxford; six grandchildren, DeAnna and David Raney of Decatur, Ga., Debra and Brian Porter of Greenville, S.C., Clay and Donna Spurlin of Wellington, Scott and Tina Usry of Anniston, Mark Usry of Auburn, and Allison and Stephen Bailey of Wellington; a brother, Ralph Usry and his wife, Anne, of Wilkesboro, N.C.; 10 great-grandchildren, Danille Devine, Emily Porter, Lori Porter, Josh Porter, Drew Spurlin, Caleb Usry, Madison Usry, Logan Bailey, Dylan Bailey, Nathan Bailey; and two nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and William G. Martin.
Mr. Usry was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was retired from CSX Railroad after 47 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Air Force. He was a graduate of Alexandria High School and a member of First United Methodist Church of Anniston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olin E. and Lois H. Usry.

Services for Earl G. Bradsher, 70, of Roanoke will be announced by Quattlebaum Funeral Home.
Mr. Bradsher died Friday at Randolph Medical Center in Roanoke.

Callahan
Graveside services for Mary Peoples Callahan, 74, of Anniston will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Anniston Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tom Orms officiating and Anniston Memorial Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends 6-8 Saturday night at the funeral home.
Mrs. Callahan died Thursday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Mrs. Callahan was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was retired from Martin's and Wakefield's.

Curry
Services for Vincent H. Curry, 55, of 1613 McDaniel St. will be 2 p.m. today at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Q.P. Woods officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. The body will be at the church an hour before the service.
Mr. Curry died Saturday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Wilson Curry; three sons, Reginald D. Curry, Michael L. Curry and Anthony Q. Curry; one parent, Ernestine Curry, and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be representatives of the United States Army.
Mr. Curry was an Army veteran and was retired from Anniston Army Depot.

JACKSONVILLE
Services for Ruth Ford, 80, of Jacksonville will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Jacksonville Church of God with the Rev. Earl Vinson officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. (EST) today at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ga., and 6-8 tonight (CST) at Miller Funeral Home in Oxford.
Mrs. Ford died Friday.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Weldon of Buford, Ga.; a son, Ronnie Ford of Jacksonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Earl Vinson of Alabaster, Rita and Charlie Steward of Jacksonville; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Jacona Ford of Burlington, N.C.; Horace and Linda Ford of Shaprsburg, Ga., Dennis and Faye Ford of Sugar Land, Texas, and Thomas and Donna Ford of Carrollton, Ga.; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband, Horace James Ford.

Services for Charlie Will French, 90, of Wedowee will be today at 2 p.m. at Ava United Methodist Church with Revs. Warren Wilder and Mike Samuels officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the church one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. French died Friday at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Lee Beck French of Wedowee; a daughter, Pat Benefield of Wedowee; a son, Nick French of Opelika; four sisters, Dorothy Sears of Atlanta, Martha Kate McManus of Fairburn, Ga., Myrtie Butler of Bowdon, Ga., and Mevolene Brown of Wedowee; two grandchildren, Alyson Poillucci of Daphne and Bryant Heard of Wedowee.
Pallbearers will be friends.
A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mr. French was the son of Charles Augustus and Eva Kirby French. He was an Army veteran of World War II, had been self-employed as a carpenter and farmer and was a member of Ava United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Doug French.

Mrs. Perry died Friday in a Birmingham hospital.

Mrs. Perry was a native of Carbon Hill and was a retired textile worker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ethel Stricklin McGinnis III.

Services for Billy Ray Smith, 69, of Lincoln will be today at 11 a.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory with Rev. Fred Boone officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Smith died Wednesday at the VA hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Smith of Lincoln; a daughter, Cynthia Darlene Browning of Anniston; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Lorene Naylor of Hartselle; two sons, Billy Ray Smith Jr. of Anniston and Jeffery Harold Smith of Anniston; five stepsons, Kenny Dale Trapp of Moody, James Aaron Holmes of North Carolina, Jay Cee Holmes of Mobile, Jimmy Joe Holmes of North Carolina and Johnny Dewayne Holmes of Florida; two brothers, George Olin Smith of Lineville and Claude Gale Smith of Heflin; a sister, Elsie Clyde Barnette of Anniston; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Browning, Craig Smith, Ray Push, Timothy Browning, Paul Browning and Kevin Rhule.
Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Parker, Steven Parker, Tommy Norman, Matt Burt, Carl Trapp and Silk Trapp.
Mr. Smith was a resident of Anniston most of his life and had lived in Lincoln for the past 11 years. He was an Army veteran of the
Korean War.
