Services for James Ross "Buz" Payne III, 54, of Lincoln will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Eureka Methodist Church in Lincoln. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in Anniston.

Barclay
TALLADEGA
Services for Alferto "Alveno Rodney" Barclay, 36, of Talladega will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Freewill Church of God in Christ in Lincoln with Bishop J.W. Wren officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery with Sims Funeral Service in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mr. Barclay died Thursday at Cooper Green Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Barclay of Talladega; two daughters, Shawn Keyla Barclay and Russia C. Barclay, both of Talladega; two sisters, Brenda Hunley of Talladega and Gwenevere Douthard of Nashville, Tenn.; four brothers, Tenzie Lee Barclay of Nashville, Nathaniel Barclay of Birmingham and Charles Barclay and Reginald Barclay, both of Anniston, two grandchildren, three aunts and seven uncles.
Mr. Barclay was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ruthie B. Barclay; and a sister, Edith Barclay.

Services for Gertrude Frances Blankenship, 75, of Anniston will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Hillside Baptist Church with Revs. Donald Hamilton and Bill Green officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Blankenship died Monday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Ryan McFarlane and his wife, Karen, Robbie McFarlane and his wife, Debra, and Raven McFarlane, all of Anniston; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Smith, Gerald Hamilton, Horace McMichael, Wayne Turley, Floy Martin and Eric Gravitt.
Mrs. Blankenship attended Hillside Baptist Church and was retired from Higginbotham Printing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blankenship, and a daughter, Thelma Lee McFarlane.

ASHLAND
Services for Ray Douglas Hanner, 55, of Ashland will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church with Revs. Wayne Adams and Clarence Wood officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services. The family will receive friends 5-9 tonight and until one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Hanner died Sunday at his home.
Survivors include a daughter, Kristi Foster of Lineville; a son, Kennan Hanner of Lineville; three brothers, Roland Hanner of Ashland, Herbert Hanner of Talladega and Leroy Hanner of Cragford; and two grandchildren, Austin Hanner and Maddie Foster.
Pallbearers will be Randy Gidley, Greg Gidley, Jeffery Gidley, Chris Smith, Rodney West, Lee Johnson, Mike Hanner and Bruce Patterson.
Mr. Hanner was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was a former police chief in Wadley and had served in the Ashland police force. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nonnie Horn Hanner and Oscar Hanner; a sister, Polly Gidley; and a brother, Opal Hanner.

Services for Vernice I. Haskew, 72, of Weaver will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Anniston with Rev. Bill Snow officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Haskew died Monday at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Haskew of Weaver; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry Wood of Oxford and David and Diane Moss of Birmingham; four sisters, Irene Silas and Edna Wymer, both of Anniston, Betty Herring of Oxford and Bobbie Hearn of Daytona, Fla.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hearn, Adam Johnson, Harold Burgess, Richard Phillips, Daniel Swindall and Donnie Herring.
Mrs. Haskew was a native of Talladega and had lived in Calhoun County most of her life. She was a housewife and a member of Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Hospice of East Alabama.

Services for Adelle C. McWilliams, 76, of Montgomery will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Revs. Michael Sigler and Jim Dannelly officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. McWilliams died Monday at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery.
Survivors include her husband, Robert "R.L." L. McWilliams of Montgomery; two daughters and their husbands, Kathy and Joe Birdnow of Montgomery and Sandra D. and Kevin Arthur of Dadeville; a son and his wife, Johnny L. and Debbie McWilliams of Dadeville; a sister, Marietta Grace of Talladega; a brother, Lloyd R. Craft of Anniston; and two grandchildren, Nanci Williamson and her husband, Brett Williamson, and Robert Norris.
Pallbearers will be Burk Wyatt, Jerry McWilliams, Mike McWilliams, Arthur McWilliams, Greg McWilliams, Phil McWilliams, Tim Williams, Terry Grace and Frank Craft.
Mrs. McWilliams was a native of Leeds and had lived in Indianapolis, Ind. most of her life. She had lived in Montgomery since 1983 and was a member of Alders Gate United Methodist Church in Montgomery. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raiford Craft and Onnie Leon Craft.

Services for Todd Lamar Megginson, 35, of Talladega will be today at 1 p.m. at Heflin Baptist Church with Revs. Horace Merrill, W.E. Jones Jr. and Phillip Morris officiating. Burial will be in Heflin City Cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Megginson died Sunday in Cleburne County.
Survivors include his father, William Lamar Megginson Jr. of Alabaster; his mother, Linda Megginson of Talladega; a brother and his wife, Matthew G. and Heather Megginson of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandparents, Ruby Kent of Heflin and Bessie Megginson and W.L. Megginson Sr., both of Mobile; and his financee, Barbara Schultz of Talladega.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Kent, Darren Kent, Kent Cosper, Michael Norton, Eric Parker, Larry Hazel, Jack "Bo" Cook, Reece Champion and Darrin Christian.
Mr. Megginson was a native of Alabama and a member of Heflin Baptist Church. He was a 1984 graduate of Cleburne County High School and was a laborer.

Mrs. Miller died Tuesday at Jacksonville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Regina Miller Perry and Dan Perry of Jacksonville; two sons and their wives, Doyle V. and Lynn Miller and Shelby D. and Barbara Miller, all of Alexandria; a sister, Elsie Haynes Maxwell of Saks; five grandchildren, Tommy G. Miller, Dennis N. Miller, Jeff Miller, Brian Miller and John Perry, and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Perry, Jeff Miller, Dennis Miller, Matt Miller, Donald Miller and Brent Fair.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the Matron's Sunday School Class, the Zioners Senior Citizens and the Alexandria Chapter of the Eastern Star.
