Private memorial services for William Gary Carroll, 53, of Jasper will be held with Miller Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Carroll died Wednesday at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.
Survivors include a daughter, Shonda Maraget of Alabaster; a brother, Mark Edward Carroll of Jasper; and a sister, Debby Mullinax of Coldwater.
Mr. Carroll was a longtime resident of Anniston. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward Carroll and Flora Beal Carroll; and an aunt, Rhoda Beal.

Fox
NORWOOD, N.C.
Services for Mary Alice Starkey Fox, 76, of Norwood will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Memorial Baptist Church in Norwood with Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Edwards Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fox died Thursday at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Nathan W. Fox; a son and his wife, George N. and Anita Fox of Goldsboro, N.C.; a daughter and her husband, Anne Fox Cooper and Charles M. Cooper of Albemarle, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Charles Vernon Starkey Jr. of New Orleans; a cousin, Lucille Henderson Williamson of Centre; four grandchildren, Joshua Cooper, Jeremy Cooper, David Cooper and Anna Cooper, and two nieces.
Mrs. Fox was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Charles Vernon and Nettie Cabot Matthews Starkey. She was a graduate of the University of Montevallo and Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and had done graduate work at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Norwood, where she taught the Rejoicing Adult Women Sunday School Class.

Headrick
PIEDMONT
Services for Michael Lane Headrick, 25, of Piedmont will be today at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Anniston with Don Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Headrick died Wednesday at his home.
Survivors include his parents, Phillip and Diane M. Flowers of Piedmont and Thomas E. Headrick of Wellington; a brother, Chris Headrick of Piedmont; his grandparents, James and Martha Lee Mills of Anniston and Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Headrick of Wellington; his stepgrandmother, Berlin Flowers of Pleasant Valley; and his great-grandmother, Inez Avans Brown of Wellington.
Pallbearers will be members of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity of Jacksonville State University.
Mr. Headrick was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was employed by Honeywell and a graduate of Jacksonville High School. He was a student at Jacksonville State University and a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Headrick.

Services for Charles Fred Lewis, 70, of Talladega will be today at 10 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home with Rev. Granville Gauldin officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Lewis died Wednesday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lewis of Talladega; a son, Barry D. Lewis of Austell, Ga.; two sisters, Patty Ritch and Barbara Gallahar, both of Talladega; four brothers, Bob Lewis and Don Lewis, both of Talladega, Richard Lewis of Prattville and Warren Lewis of Beaumont, Texas; and two grandchildren, Brian Lewis and Mark Lewis.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mr. Lewis was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and was retired from Neal Rodgers Textile Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Ceylon Lewis.

Services for Orbie A. Garner, 79, of Heflin, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with Revs. Kenneth Forsyth, Bobby Garner and Phillip Morris officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
Mr. Garner died Saturday at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Jerri Garner of Heflin; three daughters, Deborah Duhon of Heflin, Brenda Dingler of Anniston, and Terri Hanners of Wedowee; two sons, Rev. Bobby Garner of Muscadine and Wayne Coggins of Anniston; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robby Benefield, Wayne Coggins, Kenneth Duhon, Frank Hagan, Delmar Hanners and Randal Skinner.
Mr. Garner was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a retired carpenter. He was a deacon of Heflin Baptist Church.

Mr. Gay died Saturday in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Gay of Heflin; two daughters, Roxanne Dobbs of Breman, Ga., and Robin Serfass of Longview, Texas; two sons, Stephen Gay of Woodland, and Edward Gay Jr. of Ranburne; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Gay was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County and a member of Ai Baptist Church.

Burial will be in the Pentecost United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight 7-9 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home in Langley, S.C. The body will be at the church one hour prior to services.
Mrs. Jackson died Saturday.
Survivors include a son, Rev. David P. Phillips of Weaver; two daughters, two daughters, Sarah A. Smith of Gloverville, S.C., and Mary E. Smith of North Augusta, S.C.; six grandchildren, Lee David Phillips, Monica Miller, Angela Miner, Sabrina Smith, Amy Phillips and Mandy Phillips; and four great-grandchildren, Michael Miner, Brandon Miner, Justin Miller and Kristen Miller.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Harrison, Al Norris, Cebie Adams, Randy Hunter, Alan Miner, Charles Posey and Alvin Phillips.
Mrs. Jackson was a native of Warrenville, and was a member of Little Horse Creek Baptist Church. She owned and operated Helen's Beauty Shop for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierce E. Freeman and Lizzie Blackmon Freeman Gibson; a sister, Ethel Freeman and a brother Mack E. Freeman.
