Funeral services for Bertis W. Nail, 81, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Moss-Service Chapel, the Rev. Larry D. Brown officiating, with a Masonic graveside service at Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Nail died Tuesday, May 3 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born July 17, 1923, in Alabama to William A. and Callie Roberts Nail. He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Odell Nail; a daughter, Donna Boatright; a son, Larry C. (Cindy) Nail; a brother, J.C. Nail; two sisters, Genoy Perkins and Pearl Collier; and four granddaughters, Leann Boatright, Katie (Buchanan) Jackson, Leslie (Jeremy) Faulkner and Callie Nail.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
Nora Smith Williams
Funeral services for Nora Smith Williams, 96, of Cullman will be at noon Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Moss-Service Chapel, the Rev. Charles York officiating, with Burial in Center Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams died Monday, May 2 at Woodland Village Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 19, 1909, to Jim and Maudine Grimmet Smith of Cullman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marnise B. Williams; six sons, Jake, Eddie, Howard, Charles, Richard and M.B. Williams.
Survivors include a son, Rev. Bobby (Linda) Williams of Texas; four daughters, Nell (Garlan) Hood, Ruth Keevan, Willa Faulkner and Joyce Strickland, all of Cullman; three sisters, Bonnie Glover of California, Lillian (Horace) Waddell and Audia Russell, both of Birmingham; 26 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
David Lewis Ogles
Funeral services for David Lewis Ogles, 50, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Jason Murphree and Timmy Ogletree officiating, with Burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Ogles died Monday, May 2 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1955, in Jefferson County to Claudie L. and Dorothy Lowe Ogles. He was a mechanic with Charlie's Transmission.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Glenn Ogles; a daughter, Samantha Banks; three brothers, Neil Ogles, Eddie (Lynn) Ogles and Michael (Patty) Ogles; two sisters, Joyce (Don) Isabell and Phylis (Randy) Purser; two brothers-in-law, Rusty (Janell) Glenn and Joey Glenn; and a sister-in-law, Kathy (Bill) Parker.
Pallbearers will be Joey Glenn, Jerome McCurry, Stanley Thomas, Blake Parker, James Lowe, Zackary Glenn, Samuel Stratman and Bill Parker.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Graveside services for William "Asa" Vincent, 70, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at Fairview West Cemetery, the Rev. Marvin Bryan officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Vincent died Monday, May 2 in Hanceville. He was born in Garden City on Aug. 5, 1934, to Earnest and Jessie Skinner Vincent.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, William Daryl "John" Vincent; two brothers, Edward and Ronnie Vincent; and a sister, Doris Whatley.
Survivors include a wife, Dorothy Vincent of Hanceville; three daughters, Debbie (Mark) Briscoe and Laurie (Rodell) Knight, both of Hanceville, Donna (Frank) Yates of Cullman; a son, Joe (Kristi) Vincent of Hanceville; three brothers, Charles Vincent, Terry Vincent and Frank Vincent of Decatur; a sister, Betty Grantham; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Cofield died Tuesday, March 29 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 10, 1926, in Cullman to George A. and Viola Burnett Cofield. He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Andrew, Fred, Louis and Lee Cofield; a granddaughter, Catherine Cofield; and a sister-in-law, Ethel Cofield.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby L. Mrs. Wix died Tuesday, March 29, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born April 21, 1918, to Bascum and Mae Poovey Smith. She was a seamstress at Porter Mills for 30 years.
Mrs. Nix was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter G. Wix; a son, Rexie Wix; a brother, Willard Smith; and a sister, Jeanette Cupp.
Survivors include a son, Reggie (Glenda) Wix; a daughter, Barbara (Butch) Duke; a brother, Doice Smith; three grandchildren, Johnny Duke, Tina Duke Hardin and Jeff Wix; and six great-grandchildren

Mr. Smith died Sunday, March 27 at Marshall Medical Center North. He was born in Blount County. He graduated in 1960 from J.B. Pennington High School. He was in sales and construction. He was a member of Rock Springs Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doc Claude Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Putman Smith; four sons, Tim (Tina) Smith, Toby Smith, Dusty Baker and Ty Smith, all of Blountsville; two daughters, Kim (Roger) Carden of Huntsville and Jada Smith of Blountsville; four grandchildren; his mother, Marie Smith (Rudy) Rudloff of Blountsville; two brothers, Randy Smith and Sammy (Jennifer) Smith, both of Blountsville; and two sisters, Linda Vanzandt and Melba (Ralph) Hutchens of Blountsville.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hutchens, Les Vanzandt, John Brown, Chris Washburn, Clint Smith and Roger Carden.

Mrs. Moore died Monday, March 28 at her residence. She was born Sept. 15, 1960, in Cardon, Venezuela, to Julian and Etelvina Wilman. She was a member of Decatur Baptist Church.

Moore of Decatur; three sons, Ronald Andres Moore and Danial Esteban Moore of Decatur and Allan David Moore of Tuscaloosa; her parents, Julian and Etelvina Wilman of Punto-Fijo, Venezuela; a brother, Miguel Wilman of Decatur; and a sister, Norma Gardner of Danville.
