Mrs. Bice died Monday, Nov. 15, at Macon, Ga., Medical Center of Central Georgia, where she was a pharmacy technician. She was born Feb. 8, 1957, in Cullman to James H. and Nellie Bice.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and a niece, Sally Bice.
Survivors include a daughter, Ember Elizabeth Butler of Macon, Ga.; her father; a brother, Douglas (Lori) Bice of Cullman; and a niece, Magin Bice of Cullman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Autry Hancock
Funeral services for Autry Hancock, 61, of Bremen will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Moss-Service Chapel, Bill Cavendar and J.C. Graves officiating, with Burial in Persimmon Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Hancock died Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Woodland Medical Center. He was born Jan. 22, 1943, to Johnny and Cora Freeman Hancock. He was a plant manager and a member of South Cullman Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Harbison Hancock; two daughters, Machele (David) Ridenour of Hazel Green and Melissa (Thomas) Connally of Melbourne, Fla.; one brother, Ken (Joann) Hancock; two sisters, Vira (Robert) Baker and Judy (Julian) Swann; two grandsons, Johnny and Derek McClendon; and two step-grandchildren, Josh and Nichole Ridenour.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Mollie M. Holsinger

Geneva Nicholas White
Funeral services for Geneva Nicholas White, 76, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Moss-Service Chapel, the Rev. Gary Sartin officiating, with Burial in Valley Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. White died Monday, Nov. 15, at her home. She was born Sept. 20, 1928, to Floyd and Novia Speegle Nicholas. She was a farmer and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Felton White, and her parents.
Survivors include one son, Dwain White and Charlotte White; two sisters, Christine Nicholas Brown of Gardendale and Carolyn Nicholas Picker of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Jessica) White of Waynesville, N.C.; Julie (Barry) Schwaiger of Hampshire, Ill.; and Jennie (Greg) Weissend of Cullman; and four great-grandchildren, Walker, Georgia and Parx White and Charlie Schwaiger.
Visitation was Wednesday.
William Herman Abbott
William Herman Abbott, 81, of Decatur, formerly of Birmingham, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at his home.
He was born to William Roy Abbott and Ruth Reese Abbott on Aug. 31, 1923, in Cullman. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and former POW. He was retired from Merck and Company after 30 years of service, and 50 years as a licensed pharmacist. He was a member of Somerville Road Church of Christ.
Mr. Abbott was preceded in death by his son, William Richard Abbott, and is survived by his wife, Jewell Whisenant Abbott, of 61 years; a son, Steve Abbott and his wife, Kay Laxson Abbott of Decatur; two grandsons, Clint Abbott of Tuscaloosa and Blake Abbott of Decatur; and a sister, Betty Abbott Shaddix of Cullman.
The family will receive friends at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home in Decatur on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's with Gary Patton officiating.
Ellis Lock Simmons
Ellis Lock Simmons was born Oct. 6, 1947, in Maili Waynai, Hawaii. He died Nov. 17, 2004, in Cullman. He resided at 1207 County Road 700 in Cullman. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at his home.
Mr. Simmons was a United States Army veteran and a forklift operator.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolly Ann Yomes Rosin; her husband, Duane "Rosie" E. Rosin; his father, Clarence Lovell Simmons; one sister, Arden Kaleo Bolte; two brothers, Peter Silva and Charles Melear; and one son, Ellis Lock Simmons II.
Survivors include his brother-in-law, Michael Bolte; brother, Clarence J. Simmons and wife Debbie Simmons; sister, Kanani Simmons; sister, Maili Czwalina and her husband Walter Czwalina; sister, Tula Striffler; brother, John B. Rosin and his wife Amy Rosin; two sons, Kimo A. Simmons and James D. Simmons and his wife, Sindie Simmons; and four grandchildren, Jacob A. Simmons, Peyton M. Simmons, Ethan J. Simmons and Breckan M. "Maggie" Simmons.
Mary Kathleen White

Mrs. White died Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Baptist Medical Center Princeton. She was born March 31, 1928, to Albert and Exie Hunt Baty. She was a homemaker and the wife of Mr. E.T. White since Jan. 22, 1949. She was baptized early in life and continued to be a faithful servant of the Lord throughout her life. She was one of 12 brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Elvin T. White; three sons, Thomas A. (Maureen) White, James A. (Joyce) White and Gregory E. (Cindy) White; two daughters, Shirley K. (David) Day and Cindy R. (Scott) Joseph; three brothers, Howard Baty, Leon Baty and Malcolm Baty; three sisters, Emogene Wisner, Teresa Merle Baruch and Rebecca Way; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Opal Sarah Ballew
Funeral services for Opal Sarah Ballew, 74, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Pastor Malcolm Carter II officiating, with Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Mrs. Ballew died Thursday, Nov. 18. She was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Cullman. She worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George G. McEwen and Una Powell McEwen; her husband, Clyde Anniston Ballew; a brother, John P. McEwen; and a grandson, Kevin Butler.
Survivors include two sons, David (Kay) Ballew and Mark (Anita) Ballew of Vinemont; a daughter, Joyce Butler of Kissimmee, Fla.; a brother, Wesley McEwen of Cullman; a sister, Eran Pledger of Vinemont; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Mrs. Folsom died Thursday, Nov. 18 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 15, 1903, to Elias and Ophelia Haseltein Pouncey. She was a homemaker. She was active in First Baptist Church in Gadsden and in Cullman for many, many years, as a Sunday School teacher. She resided in Gadsden until about 15 years ago, before moving to Cullman to be near her son.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a son, Fred C. Folsom Sr. of Cullman; and a grandson, Fred C. (Traci) Folsom Jr. of Trussellville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Mr. Barber died Friday, Nov. 19, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 1, 1976, to Wilburn Lewis and Linda Gail Carlisle Barber. He was a heavy equipment operator for Hasting Construction.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, James Allen Barber; his grandmother, Dolly Bowen Barber; and his grandfathers, A.D. Barber and Joseph Eschol Carlisle.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Gail Barber of Cullman; his wife, Shelia Pilgrim Barber of Cullman; one son, Christian Michael Barber of Cullman; his grandmother, Dorothy Carlisle of Cullman; his step-grandmother, Ruby Barber of Cullman; one brother, Jeremy (Jamie) Barber of Cullman; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steve Briscoe; and a brother, Dois Sims.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev.
