Funeral services for Delbert W. "Dobie" Hart, 73, of Hayden were Friday, March 5, 2004, at Messmer-Goodwin Funeral Home, Earnest McKinnon officiating, with Burial in Elvester Cemetery.

Mr. Hart died Wednesday, March 3.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Hart; two sons, David (Linda) Hart and Jan Elder (Debra) Hart; a granddaughter, Kate Elder-Hart; and three grandsons, Robert Heath Hart, Robert William Hart and Kevin Michael Hart, all of Hayden.

Funeral services for Mildred E. Stinson Jones, 79, of Falkville will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Mt. View Baptist Church, the Revs. Jesse Estes and Harvey Reynolds officiating, with Burial in Cook Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Jones died Thursday, March 4, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born April 5, 1924, in Morgan County to Harvey and Flossie Lindsey Stinson. She was a member of the Mt. View Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Don Rabe (Donna) Jones and Charles Arnold Jones, both of Falkville; a daughter, Linda Gail (O.D.) Holmes of Decatur; two brothers, Bud Stinson of Eva and Ed Stinson of Decatur; two sisters, Jeanette Digman of Cullman and Shirley Stinson of Falkville; four granddaughters, Jessica (Chip) Williams, Danielle (Josh) Hayes, Jada Jones and Brittney Jones; two grandsons, Kyle Jones and Bryan Holmes; and a great-granddaughter, Jayla Marian Hayes.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Richard Dale McAnally
Memorial arrangements for Richard Dale McAnally, 25, of Cullman are incomplete and will be announced at a later date by the funeral home.

Mr. McAnally died Friday, March 5, 2004, at his residence. He was born June 23, 1978, in Cullman to Wendell Holt and Melody Bennett. He was disabled.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carnell Bolding and "Turk" Bolding.
Survivors include his father, Wendell Holt; his mother, Melody Bennett of Cullman; one brother, Timothy McAnally of Cullman; and one sister, Misti Holt of West Point.
Edward F. Heitmueller
Funeral services for Edward F. Heitmueller, 90, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2004, at St. John's Church, the Revs. Bob Kurtz, John Richter and Jim Walker officiating, with Burial in Cullman City Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Heitmueller died Saturday, March 6, at his residence. He was born Jan. 22, 1914, in Alabama to Edd and Eda Warnke Heitmueller. He was a farmer and a life-long member of St. John's Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arnice Rascoe Heitmueller.
Survivors include one niece, Jane Rascoe Moody; and two nephews, Elwyn Rascoe and Ray (Jane-Ann) Heitmueller.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John's Church.

Funeral services for Arlon Wayne Lankford, 66, of Hayden, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2004, at Moss-Service Chapel, with Burial in Livingston Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Lankford died Saturday, March, 6, at his residence. He was born Sept. 27, 1937, to William Bascom and Geneva Lankford. He was a construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Geneva Lankford of Hanceville; two sons, Bascom Wayne Lankford Jr. of Garden City and Jon Wade Lankford of Warrior; two daughters, Lisa Denise Krebs of Huntsville and Retonda Ann Keeton of Warrior; one sister, Frances Delene Lankford of Hanceville; and six grandchildren, Brandy Lankford, Valarie Parsons, Nicholas Keeton, Austin Lankford, Dakota Krebs and Kobie Lankford.

Mrs. Parker died Friday, March 5, at the Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born April 3, 1915, in Harrelson County, Ga., to Joseph Samuel and Kate Payton Whitton. She worked for many years beside her husband on the family farm and later as a sales clerk in a local clothing store. She was an accomplished homemaker, cook and quilt maker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Leldon Parker; four brothers, Hoyt Whitton, Leonard Whitton, Roger Whitton and Ross Whitton; and one sister, Janet W. Lokey.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry L. (Pat) Parker of Sheffield and Samuel D. (Betty) Parker of Cullman; two sisters, Hazel W. Wisener of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jadia W. Freeman of Alexander City; two grandsons, Scott D. Parker of Decatur and Stephen D. (Annette) Parker of Cullman; and a special friend, Clara Rider of Hanceville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Travis Edward Quick
Funeral services for Travis Edward Quick, 62, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Hanceville Funeral Chapel, Elder Chewena Kabanja and Pastor David Holton officiating, with Burial in Fairview West Cemetery.

Mr. Quick died Sunday, March 7, in Birmingham. He was born in Cullman County on Jan. 25, 1942, to Julus and Una Edwards Quick. He was retired and had worked 26 years as supervisor of maintenance at UAB Hospital. He was a lifetime member of Cullman Seventh Day Adventist.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Turner Quick of Dodge City; a daughter, Sherry (Terry) Mattox of Hanceville; a sister, Thelma Weaver of Cullman; two grandsons, Jared and Steven Mattox, both of Hanceville.
Visitation was Monday.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Clyde Smith Sr.; and his grandparents, H.C. and Mildred Burdette.
Survivors include his parents, Melvin C. Smith Jr. and Jennie Smith, both of Hanceville; a sister, Amy (Keith) Brown of Hanceville; a brother, Rob (Stefanie) McAlpine of Vinemont; his grandmother, Martha Smith of Hanceville; a nephew, Ethan McAlpine of Vinemont; and a niece, Savannah McAlpine of Vinemont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Harris; a son, Michael Harris; and a daughter, Carol Kamback.
Survivors include a grandson, Michael Kamback; a son-in-law, Greg Kamback, both of Huntsville; a brother, A.W. "Jack" Johnston of Columbiana; a sister, Opal Pruett of Cullman; and a nephew, John Pruett of Huntsville.

Mrs. Griffith died Saturday, March 6, at Marshall Medical Center North-Guntersville. She was born in Blount County to Reuben and Cena Daily Bowerman. She was a homemaker and a member of Austin Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Billy Joe Bowerman; and a grandchild, Christopher Earl.
Survivors include her husband, Tallie Griffin of Blountsville; a daughter, Reba (Phillip) Earl of Blountsville; a sister, Ethelene Adcock of Hayden; two grandchildren, Melissa (Michael) Glass and Mary (Chris) Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Katlyn Glass and Kallie Smith.
Pallbearers were Johnny Rutherford, Jerry Rutherford, Michael Glass, Chris Smith, Rickey Bowerman, Shorty Head, Wilburn Beavers and Monte Bowerman.

Herbert Lester 'Hub' Hollaway
Funeral services for Herbert Lester "Hub" Hollaway, 81, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Abbott Cletus Meagher and Father John O'Donnell officiating, with Burial in the Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Hollaway died Tuesday, March 9, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Randolph County to Willis P. and Flonie Harmon Holloway. He was retired from General Motors Corp. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Herman Hollaway.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Woerz Hollaway of Cullman; three sisters, Omie Bailey, Norma Bittinger and Jean (Curtis) Driver, all of Cullman; two nephews; two nieces; five great-nephews; four great-nieces; and one great-great-niece.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ralph Basch Christmas Fund at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Billy Bailey, Ben Harrison, Ross Harrison, Nathan Basch, Jared Basch and Trent Basch.
