Funeral services for Margaret Jane Reese, 77, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Chuck Canterbury officiating, with Burial in Holly Pond Cemetery.

Mrs. Reese died Wednesday, Oct. 15 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 11, 1926 in Cullman County to Henry Horton and Mary Lois Knight Dial. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Guy R. Reese.
Survivors include a son, David Reese of Holly Pond; two brothers, James (Margie) Dial of Garden City and Jerry (Marilyn) Dial of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; and a sister, Betty Jo Boone of Laurel Hill, Fla.
Visitation was Friday.
Bernice Arlene Kilpatrick

Mrs. Kilpatrick died Friday, Oct. 17 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 10, 1925 in Franklin County to Henry and Venia Scott Renfrow. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, James Otis Kilpatrick of Cullman; two sons, Earl (Keely) Kilpatrick of Fultondale and Randy Kilpatrick of Cullman; a daughter, Joyce (Jerry) Merritt of Montgomery; a brother, Charles Renfrow of Opelika; two sisters, Margaret Reeves of Red Bay and Harriett Myers of Riverdale, Mass.; and eight grandchildren, Michael Shane Kilpatrick, April Merritt, Peyton Merritt, Heather Floyd, Amy Kilpatrick, Zachary Kilpatrick, Brooks Gayton and Mallory Gayton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Willie B. Stallings
Funeral services for Willie B. Stallings, 86, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, the Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating, with Burial in Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Stallings died Thursday, Oct. 16 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 15, 1916 in Jackson, Tenn. to Yancey and Sarah Johnson Stallings. He was a retired lineman for Cullman Electric Co-Op and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dale Stallings; a daughter, Faye McManus; a brother, Lenord Stallings; eight brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Thurolene Stallings; a son, David Stallings; a daughter, Peggy (Sandy) McManus; a sister, Ila Jones, all of Cullman; six grandchildren, Roger (Sharon) McManus, Joe McManus, Paula (David) Douglas, Tim (Lisa) McManus, Stacey (Todd) Gammon and Kirk Stallings; and eight great-grandchildren, Karli, Drew and Josey Gammon, Zach and Micah Douglas, Taylor, Caidyn and Kenley McManus.
Visitation was Friday.
Carmel 'Cam' Matthew Nunnelley

Mr. Nunnelley died Friday, Oct. 17 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born July 30, 1920 in Morgan County to Newman and Nellie Giles Nunnelley. He was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Annie Mae Nunnelley; four brothers, Homer, Barney, Dewey and Chalmer Nunnelley; and three sisters, Lois Cobbs, Phoebe Strong and Prudie Cobbs.
Survivors include two sons, Robert A. (Margie) Nunnelley of Prattville and David R. Nunnelley of Tennessee; three daughters, Carolyn F. (Thomas) Mullenix of Hartwell, Ga., Celia H. Nunnelley of Cullman and Joan G. (Michael) Powell of Montgomery; seven grandchildren, Andrew (Lisha) Mullenix, Emily Mullenix, Jason (Laura) Nunnelley, Micheal Nunnelley, Renee Nunnelley, Matthew Nunnelley and Ben Nunnelley; and two great-grandchildren, Victoria Nunnelley and Alexandria Nunnelley.

Lonnie Huston Stephens
Funeral services for Lonnie Huston Stephens, 82, of Michigan are at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003 at Cross Roads Baptist Church, Hucky Blackwood officiating, with Burial in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Stephens died Friday, Oct. 17 at Alteirra Nursing Home in Michigan. He was born in Alabama on Dec. 21, 1920 to Lonnie and Sina Horton Stephens. He was a production worker for Ford Motor Company and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin Stephens of Nothville, Mich. and Alvin Stephens of Cullman; a sister, Pauline James of Cullman; and two grandchildren, Michael Stephens and Natilie Stephens.
Visitation is 4 to 5 p.m. today.

Survivors include her husband, J.C. Vogel of Walter; a stepdaughter, Janee (Eric) Hogan of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Alex and Chloe Hogan; a niece, Carol D. Horn of Nashville, Tenn.; nephew, Steve R. Dunkin of Louisville, Ky.; great-nieces and -nephew, Jennifer Horn, Karin Dunkin, Bradley Dunkin; and great-great-niece and -nephew, Catherine and Alessio.

Survivors include two sons, Neal Wayne (Pam) Berry and Dale Bruce (Angela) Berry; and four grandchildren, Rebecca Diane Berry, Emily Marie Berry, Brian Lamar Ward and Brent Joel Ward.

Mr. White died Monday, Oct. 20 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1922 in Cullman County to David and Lula Alvis White. He was a member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Blackwood White; and a brother, Othell White.
Survivors include a son, Tim (Donna) White of Holly Pond; two brothers, Burtis White and Milton (Barbara) White, both of West Point; two sisters, Zenith Neal of Morris and Mavis Austin of Mobile; and two grandchildren, Trent White of Holly Pond and Josh (Nikki) White of Forsythe, Ga.

James A. 'Roso' Shaffer

Mr. Shaffer died Sunday, Oct. 19 at his residence. He was born April 14, 1947 in Hartselle to Welch and Bernice "Polly" Gillespie Shaffer. He was a 1966 graduate of Morgan County High School and he attended Calhoun Community College. He previously worked for Cerro Wire and Jax Mold.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Garrett Shaffer; a sister, Charlotte (Ricky) McAbee of Hartselle; a brother, Mike (Mary) Shaffer of Cullman; three stepchildren, Jason Brannon, Jan Brannon and Evan Humerick; an aunt, Edith Borden of Decatur; two nephews, Allen Vinson and Eric Shaffer; and a stepgranddaughter, Morgan Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, P.O. Box 2745, Decatur, Ala. 35602.

Ottis M. Blevins
Graveside services for Ottis M. Blevins, 77, of Guntersville were Monday, Oct. 20, 2003 at Brookwood Cemetery in Arab, Perry Allbritten officiating.

Mr. Blevins died Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Floyd Fann State Veterans Administration Nursing Home in Huntsville. He was born Jan. 14, 1926 in Cullman County to Lee and Gladys Baker Blevins. He was retired from Tennessee-Valley Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Ruth Blevins, who died June 6, 1995.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip Blevins of Guntersville and Steve Blevins of New Market; three grandchildren, Amber Bickford, Jordan Blevins and Clint Blevins; a great-grandchild, Whitley Bickford; three brothers, Lamar Blevins of Birmingham, Bobby Blevins and Archie Blevins, both of Cullman; and two sisters, Shirley Blevins of Birmingham and Lillian Guyton of Missouri.
