Waymon Woodrow Couch
Funeral services for Waymon Woodrow Couch, 84, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2003 at Hanceville Funeral Chapel, the Revs. Tom Hammons, Roger Short and Paul Campbell officiating, with Burial in Hopewell Cemetery.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Couch died Wednesday, May 28 at his residence. He was born March 11, 1919 in Hanceville to Francis Marion and Daisy Ann Whitehead Couch. He was a carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran serving in the 29th Infantry during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ruby Couch; and a brother, Clyde David (Flora Helen) Couch of Hanceville.
Pallbearers will be Roy Lee, Charles Millican, Anthony Couch, Gary Couch, Tracey Couch and Bobby Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Hanceville or to Hospice of Cullman County.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Euell Odith Riggs
Funeral services for Euell Odith Riggs, 86, of Vinemont will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Bruce Farr officiating, with Burial in Bell Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Riggs died Tuesday, May 27 at Woodland Village Health Care Center. He was born June 27, 1917 in Morgan County to William and Mattie Riggs. He was a supervisor for Foremost Dairies and a member of the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Grace Suite Riggs; two grandchildren, Kasey Austin and Germaine Austin; and a great-grandchild, Dalton Riggs.
Survivors include his wife, Lorena Roberts Riggs; two sons, I.Q. (Rosemary) Riggs of Cullman and Bill (Pat) Riggs of Georgia; a daughter, Dianne (Fred) Sanchez of Florida; a sister, Pauline "Polly" Whittle of Cullman; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Wednesday.
James Michael 'Mickey' Clem
Funeral services for James Michael "Mickey" Clem, 82, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2003 at Moss-Service Chapel, with Burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mr. Clem died Tuesday, May 27 at his residence. He was born May 12, 1921 to James Carmen and Earline Nabors Clem. He retired in 1986 as advertising manager for The Cullman Times.
He was preceded in death by his his parents; and his wife of 33 years, Bonnie Jones Clem.
Survivors include a son, James M. (Anne Moore) Clem Jr. of Huntsville; two daughters, Pat Clem (Emery) Kobor of Great Falls, Va., and Mary Clem of Austin, Texas; a sister, Ruth Binford of Wheaton, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Mary and Samantha Kobor of Great Falls, Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Cullman County, 402 4th Ave. N.E., Cullman, Ala. 35055.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Carl K. Morgan
Funeral services for Carl K. Morgan, 73, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003 at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Ray Lathem officiating, with Burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Morgan died Monday, May 26, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born July 12, 1929 to Fred Lee and Nellie Bewley Morgan. He was retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Carl K. Morgan Jr.; two brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Davis Morgan; a daughter, Terri (Thomas) Smith of Seymour, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Jacks Morgan of Brandon, Miss.; two sisters, Jean Lewis and Florine Berry of Hardin County, Ky.; two grandsons, Clark Smith, Kyle Morgan; and four granddaughters, Mallory Smith, Claire Kati Smith, Taylor Ann Morgan, Carly Morgan.
Visitation was Wednesday.
Alta Mae Baker

Mrs. Baker died Tuesday, May 27 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born in Texas on Aug. 17, 1912 to John Monroe and Minnie Graves Pearson. She was a homemaker and a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Baker; two grandsons, Byron Heatherly and Jonathan Davis; and her parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruth (Shirley) Heatherly, Carolyn (Blair) Davis and Laura (Al) Hitt; five grandchildren, Rowland Heatherly, Ann Mayo, Kelvin Heatherly, Chris Self and Jessica Davis; two stepgrandchildren, Tami and Angela Hitt; and seven great-grandchildren, Jamie Barnett, Melissa Mayo, Derek Heatherly, Brian Hollis, Kelsey Heatherly, Nick Heatherly and Jonathan McClusky.
Visitation was Wednesday.
Gary T. Byrd
Funeral services for Gary T. Byrd, 47, of Decatur will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2003 at First Bible Church in Decatur, with Burial in Hartselle Memory Gardens. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Larry D. Taylor
Graveside services for Larry D. Taylor, 47, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003 at Munford Cemetery, the Rev. Elton Rutherford officiating.

Mr. Taylor died Tuesday, May 27 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Talladega where he lived most of his life. He was a resident of Cullman for the past 11 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Cullman and was retired from the State of Alabama.
Survivors include two sons, Josh and Nathan Taylor, both of Cullman; a sister, Pamela Taylor of Riverside; and three brothers, Kenneth and Jeff Taylor, both of Munford, and Robert Taylor of Talladega.
Pallbearers will be Randy Whitten, Ricky Whitten, Jimmy Whitten, George Mitchell, Mike Glover, Chris Taylor and Jeremy Taylor.
Elizabeth Ann Whitesell
Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Whitesell, 7, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at First Baptist Church of Cullman, Dr. Ed Hayes officiating. A private family graveside service will follow.

Miss Whitesell died Sunday, May 25 at her residence. She was born June 19, 1995 to Rob and Tiffany Whitesell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cullman were she was a member of the Sunday School, Children's Worship, G.A.'s and Children's Choir. She was an active Girl Scout for three years. A straight-A student at West Point Elementary, Beth took dance classes at West Main Studios.
Survivors include her parents; one brother, Jonathan Whitesell; two sisters, Lillian and Madeline Whitesell; grandparents, Mary and Jerry Whitesell and Terrie and V.L. Whittier; great-grandmother, Tommie Jones; aunts and uncles, Tammy and Lucas Ortega, Lee Whittier, Gabrielle Danchick, Dan and Rachel Whitesell and Susan Whitesell; and her cousin, Alexa Whitesell.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Welch died Sunday, May 25 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 31, 1925 to Brian and Mabel Lucky Welch. He was the owner of Midway Auto Auction.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Carlyn G. Schlegel Welch; son, Randy J. Welch of Cullman; brother, Bryan Welch of Tazewell, Tenn; sister, Lois (Lloyd) Niswonger of Missouri; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Amy) Wallace, Matthew Welch and Tenneill (Matt) Manning; and one great-grandchild, Olivia Wallace.

Ethan Jack Allred

He died Thursday, May 22 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born Aug. 28, 2002.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ezra and Ethelene Allred.
Survivors include his parents, Tyra Allred and Matthew Kennamer, both of Cullman; two brothers, Levi Allred and Chakote Navarro, both of Cullman; and aunts and uncles, Janie Stanley, Billy Witcher, Rose Allred, Roger and Sharon Allred, Darlene Allred, Caprice (Jay) Wilson.
Ola Macon Chandler
Graveside services for Ola Macon Chandler, 91, of Cullman were held Thursday, May 22, 2003 at Fellowship Cemetery.

Mrs. Chandler died Wednesday, May 21 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born April 24, 1912 to William and Nora Rutherford Macon. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Walter Chandler.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Inez Macon; and her niece and caretaker, Frances McCurley and Mary Cousins.

Terry Paul Taylor
Memorial services for Terry Paul Taylor, 47, of Cullman will be announced at a later date by the funeral home.

Mr. Taylor died Saturday, June 14 in Daytona, Fla. He was born March 3, 1956 in Morgan County. He was a roofer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Taylor; and a brother, Robert Evon Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Reed of Holly Pond; three sons, Yancy (Allison) Taylor of Holly Pond, Randy Taylor and Willie Taylor; three daughters, Candance Taylor and Tara JoArron Taylor, both of Colorado, and Mandy Taylor of Michigan; his parents, Hubert and Jean Rusk of Cullman; two brothers, Ronald Taylor and Daniel Rusk of Cullman; a sister, Patricia Ann Taylor of Cullman; and five grandchildren.
Keith Johnson

Mr. Johnson died Thursday, June 19 at his residence. He was born Dec. 24, 1968 in Blount County.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. Johnson.
