Funeral services for Estelle Murchison Miller, 91, of Alexander City will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Curtis and Son North Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation was from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003.
Mrs. Miller died Monday, July 28, 2003, at Chapman Nursing Home. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Rockford for many years.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Miller; one daughter, Patricia Miller and one son, Moye Miller.
Pallbearers were James White, Matthew White, John Henry Miller, Wayne Pate, Bryan Murchison and Steven Pate.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Christine Helen Stovall
1929-2003
Funeral services for Christine Helen Stovall, 74, of Alexander City will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Ridge Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Mount Sinai Cemetery.
Mrs. Stovall died July 24, 2003, at her residence. She was born June 23, 1929, to James and Mae Fannie Blue.
She is survived by her husband, Willie J. Stovall of Alexander City; six children, Robbie McKinney and husband the Rev. Bobbie of Childersburg, Sharon Ann Tucker of Alexander City, Allison Kelley and husband Michael of Goodwater, Terrance N. Stovall and wife Toni of Montgomery, William Lurun Stovall and wife Tammy and Warren M. Stovall, all of Alexander City; two sisters, Lelia Norris and Eddie Kate Black, both of Alexander City; one brother Rueben Blue and wife Lily Mae of Alexander City; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Tolliver Crayton Walker Jr., 79, of Alexander City will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Radney Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. George Stewart and Garland Gamble will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Park. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2003.
Mr. Walker died Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. He was born Jan. 24, 1924, in Clay County to Tolliver Crayton Walker Sr. and Addie McMath Walker. He worked as a supervisor for Russell Corp. and was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Padgett Walker of Alexander City; two sons, James C. Walker and wife Elizabeth and Kenneth Walker and wife Faye, all of Alexander City; three grandchildren, Lynn Walker and wife Paula, Gary Walker and wife Tammy and Kellie Jordan and husband William, all of Alexander City; six great-grandchildren, Cole Walker, Ross Walker, Tiffani Walker, Madison Jordan, Deidra Baird and Ashton Baird, and one brother, James Lester Walker of Clay County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Thomas Fred Walker, and two sisters, Mary Ruth Bowen and Katie Vergie Walker.
The family will accept flowers or contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd.-Suite 1010, Rocksville, MD 20852.

Funeral services for Betty Moon, 59, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at Saint James A.M.E. Church. The Rev. Raymond Angel will officiate. Burial will follow at Macedonia Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Moon died July 30, 2003, at Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was born March 4, 1944, to John E. and Mary Leonard.
She is survived by four sons, John C. Moon, Sylvester L. Moon and wife Sandra, Orenthal J. Moon and wife Michelle, and Sherman Moon and wife Brenda, all of Goodwater; her parents, John E. and Mary L. Leonard of Goodwater; one stepson, Curtis Fuller and wife Claudette of Goodwater; five sisters, Margie Silmon of Sylacauga, Dorothy Allen and husband Nathaniel of Birmingham, Doris Allen and husband Melvin of Ratcliff, Ky., Winnie Childs and husband Louis of Goodwater and Mary L. Pasby and husband Thomas of Cochran, Ga.; three brothers, the Rev. John Leonard and wife Essie of Goodwater, Otis Leonard and wife Sherlene and James Leonard and wife Tracy, all of Kellyton; one brother-in-law, Marvin Moon and wife Essie of Goodwater; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Charlene Elizabeth Davis, 46, of New Site will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at Langley Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev David Moore will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003.
Mrs. Davis died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham. She was a member of Jackson's Gap Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Bob Davis of New Site; three daughters, Samantha Davis of Saint, Louis, Mo., Shre Dudgey of Florida, and Susanne Copeland; two sons, Kenneth Davis and Joseph Davis, both of Florida; four sisters, Constance Stanard of Ohio, Marie Louise Newberry of North Carolina, Patricia Burrell of New Hampshire and Jayne Burrell of South Carolina; two brothers, Joseph Burrell of Ohio and Peter Burrell of Massachusetts; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
