Mr. Billy Wayne Elders, 24, of Rainsville died Saturday, June 16, 2007, in Dutton.
Services were held Wednesday, June 20, from the Kerby Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jeff Watkins officiating. Burial followed in the Unity Cemetery
in Cedar Bluff.
Survivors include: father, John Wayne and Robbie Elders of Flat Rock; mother, Linda and Mark Bradshaw of Rainsville; brother, Jonathan Wade Elders of Rainsville; grandparents, Mavis Elders of Cedar Bluff and Leon and Willean Mitchell of Rainsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
WINFIELD, Herman Preston
WINFIELD, Herman Preston, age 74, a resident of Millbrook, AL, formerly of Cherry Street Montgomery, AL, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Liberty Baptist Church in Tallassee, AL, with Rev. Chris M. Erwin officiating. Interment followed at Liberty Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Winfield was a United States Army veteran. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth H. Winfield of Millbrook, AL; daughters Della Stollenwerck (David) of Millbrook, Sherry Yost (Mark) of Houston, TX, Lori Copenhaver (Stan) of Prattville, AL; son Ivy Lee McRee of Montgomery, AL, Brother James Winfield (Alice Faye) of Tallassee, AL; sisters Addie Loyce Norrell of Tallassee, AL, Annie Merle Mooney of Tallassee, AL, Imogene Winfield of Tallassee AL, Willodean Cooper (Jimmy) of Deatsville, AL; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews and cousins also surviving.

in Coosada, AL on Auburn Hill Dr. Visitation was Monday, February 26, 2007 at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery, AL from 5 PM until 7 PM. Warren was born in Montgomery, AL April 19, 1910, the son of Warren D. and Thera Clark Hall and grew up in Coosada, AL. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Elizabeth H. Hall. He is survived by a sister, Marion H. Taylor, Birmingham, AL formerly of Prattville, AL; a brother, Elmore C. Hall of Coosada, AL and an extended family of nephews and nieces joined by many friends. Warren was an active and tireless civic leader in the Coosada, Robinson Springs and Millbrook area for his entire life. He was a member of the Millbrook Men’s Club, the Kiwanis Club and a founding member of St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church. He was a student of both family and community history, a Brave’s baseball fan, a lover of theater and music and an ardent patriot to his country. Mr. Hall had a life well lived. STRUBY, Mildred B. a resident of Millbrook, Al. died on February 13, 2007 at Jackson's Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 2, 1922 in Somerset, PA., the daughter of Luther and Ada Wigley Bowman and she grew up in Somerset, Pa. A lyric soprano, she studied voice and opera at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, MD., in the 1940's, was a soprano soloist in numerous churches in the Baltimore area. She was a soloist in concerts in Maryland and Pennsylvania and sang in many dinner theaters in the Annapolis, MD. area. She continued her interest and activity in music throughout her life. She was the wife of Col. Ret. Joseph R. Struby, she was the devoted mother of three daughters, and was a highly supportive Air Force wife during her husband's military career for more than 30 years and was a past president of the Montgomery Retired Officers Wives Club. She was a member of St. Michael and All Angels' Episcopal Church in Millbrook, AL.. Before her illness, she was a longtime member of the Alter Guild, the choir and the Episcopal Church Women. She was active in numerous civic activities and historic preservations. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Col. Ret. Joseph R. Struby of Millbrook, Al., daughters Sarah B. Struby of Montgomery, AL. Dr. Ada Louise Struby of Hope Hull, AL., and Jo Anne Struby of Millbrook, AL., Brother in law and Sister in law Dr. and Mrs. Edward Burke of Bristol, TN., and an extended family of nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Henry Richard Hogan, 76, of Coosada, died with his family by his side Sunday, June 17.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 19, at 2 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.
Interment followed in Brookside Memorial Gardens in Millbrook.
Mr. Hogan was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church and Hampden Sidney Lodge #67 of Millbrook.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 y ears, Dovie Hogan of Coosada; son, Harold (Sandra) Hogan of Coosada; daughter Sheila Wright of Deatsville; grandchildren Adrienne , hal, Hannah, Jay and Josh; great-grandchildren Kelsie, Tyler, Haleigh, and Drew; sisters Pat (Bob) Pickett of Fitzpatrick, Louise Bozeman of Wetumpka Charlotte Smith of Millbrook, Nell (Richard) Myrick of Millbrook; numerous nieces and nephews.
