Pamela Tucker, 63, a resident of Eclectic, passed away Oct. 17, 2012. She was born April 25, 1949.
She is survived by her companion, Diane Dudley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James C. Dudley (Judy), Robin Dudley (Janice), Linda Dudley and James B. Dudley; and special friends, Tom and Margaret Adams, Gail Mancil and Jo Ann Woodfin.

Esther Gunter Allen
Esther Gunter Allen, 94, a 14-year resident of Wetumpka, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home in her hometown of Chattanooga, Tenn., followed by her funeral service. Interment will be held Oct. 22 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery
in Fort Payne.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Phyllis M. (Jim) Cowart of Wetumpka; son, Dr. Richard W. Gunter of Carlsbad, Calif.; granddaughters, Donna (Doyle) Bingham of Wetumpka, Shari Stewart of Chula Vista, Calif., DeDe (Chad) Edwards of Holtville; great granddaughters Meri Bingham, Heather Witherington, Sara Edwards; great grandsons, William Stewart, Robert Stewart; one stepson, daughter-in-law, step son-in-law, five step granddaughters and their spouces and children.
John William Sedam
John William Sedam, 78, a resident of Titus, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with retired Col. Frank Estes officiating and Ellison Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Sedam is survived by his wife of 33 years June Sedam of Titus; stepson Kip Vann of Dadeville; stepdaughter Vanise Vann (Wayne) Jones Eunice of New Mexico; two sisters Evelyn Marshall of Greencastle, Ind., and Alice Dillman of Daytona Beach, Fla.
Mr. Sedam was preceded in death by his son Jeff and his daughter Connie.
Visitation will be noon until 1 p.m. Feb. 3 at Ellison Funeral Home.

Mr. Sedam served as a captain in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and the Vietname War.
He was also a chiropractor and a former employee of Ellison Funeral Home.
Benny Wayne Summerlin
Mr. Benny Wayne Summerlin, 77, a resident of Wetumpka, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 4 at Coosa River Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mr. Summerlin in survived by his wife of 53 years, Shelley Summerlin, daughters, Kim (Tony) Cardwell, Angie McCormick, brother, Billy Payne (Liz) Summerlin, grandchildren, Carmen (Matt) Nixon, Zachariadh (Shannon) McCormick, Jonah Cardwell, Summer McCormick, Jessica (Charlie) Lanier, great grandchildren, Carlie and Jaxon Lanier, Lucy McCormick and Skye Sellers.
Pallbearers will be Joe Bryant, Jonah Caldwell, Zac McCormick, Matt Nixon, Charlie Lanier and Randy Lanier.
Mr. Summerlin will lie in state one hour prior to service time at Coosa River Primitive Baptist Church.
Gloria McKeen
Gloria McKeen, 67, a resident of Tallassee, passed away August 18, 2011.
She was born February 25, 1944. Visitation was Sunday, August 21, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Linville Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Chapel at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. John Gieger officiating. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Melton; son, Timothy William Bunn; sisters, Joyce Bell, Shirley Ponder, Mary Ann Cantrell, Syble Nolin, Dit Ford and Bobbie Hamby; brother, James Hamby; and grandson, Michael Melton.
Robert Dervin Douglas
Mr. Robert Dervin Douglas, 81, a resident of Montgomery, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Equality United Methodist Church Cemetery
with Pastor Ron Beckham officiating and Ellison Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Douglas is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Jesse D. and Linda Douglas of Montgomery; sister-in-law Louise Douglas of Kerrville, Texas, nieces and nephews Jonathan, Christina, Caton, Casidee, Piper, Jane, Stacey, Faith, Bonnie, Auburn, Teresa, Donald, Linda, Lois, Phillip and Douglas along with other numerous great nieces and great nephews.
There will not be a visitation at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
Sheila Sue Kittrell Hunt
Sheila Sue Kittrell Hunt, a resident of Wetumpka passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the age of 75.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. June 30 at Gassett Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. July 1 at First United Methodist Church of Wetumpka with the Rev. Kevin Kelly and the Rev. Walter Albritton officiating.
She will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church in Wesley Hall. Interment will follow at Pine View Memorial Gardens with Gassett Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hunt is survived by her husband, the Rev. Albert R. Hunt Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Angelia H. and Aubrey Bush of Wetumpka; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony A. and Patricia Hunt of Phenix City; brother and sister-in-law, Robert H. and Patricia Kittrell of Tuscon, Ariz.; four grandchildren: Skylar (Josh) Walker, Jessie Moore, Dylan Hunt, and Logan Hunt and great grandchild, Nathan Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Addie Sue Kittrell.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Tilley, John Stuart Tilley, Edward Tatum, Jim Rushing, Robert Brown, and David Barnes.
Honorary pallbearers are the ministers of the Alabama-West Florida Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Laura Frances Smith
PRATTVILLE — Laura Frances Smith, 85, a resident of Prattville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011.
Funeral Services were held at noon Oct. 21 at the chapel of Prattville Memorial with the Rev. Stan Holt officiating. Burial followed in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.
Mrs. Smith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carl Smith; and one daughter, Carole Ford.
She is survived by three sons, James Till, Freddie Till and Billy Till; five daughters, Rose Kyliavas, Barbara Atwell, Millie Ballard, Bonnie Smith and Laura Ann Till; 21 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers were Johnny Ford, John Schofield, Eddie Brazeale, Gene Pugh, Bruce Johnson and Tiv Johnson.
The family received friends at Prattville Memorial from 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 21.
