DAVISTON — Funeral service for Jonathan Avery Buchanan, 28, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove C.M.E. Church with the Rev. Winfred McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Buchanan died Oct. 2.
He is survived by one son, Cadony DeAndre Edwards of New Site; one daughter, Ariel Simone Buchanan of Alexander City; his mother, Mary J. Buchanan of Daviston; two sisters, Vickie Thomas of Daviston and Debra Slaughter Riley of Bronx, N.Y.; one god sister, Jessica Buchanan of Daviston; and several nieces, aunts and uncles.

FAYETTEVILLE — Graveside service for infant Carrie Alayna Limbaugh will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Fayetteville Cemetery
with David Mann officiating.
The infant died Oct. 4 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham.
She is survived by her parents, Colby and Jessica Mann of Fayetteville; one brother, Hunter Limbaugh of Fayetteville; grandparents, Tonua and Roland Webster, Tracy and Gary Smith and Preston Limbaugh of Sylacauga; aunts, Crystal Webster and Michelle Mann and husband Lee of Sylacauga and Cindy Stovall and husband Bill of Jackson, Tenn.; one uncle, Mark Limbaugh of Sylacauga; cousins, Dustin and Jacob Mann of Sylacauga and Carley Stovall of Jackson, Tenn.

DONALD O. BAIN
CROPWELL — Funeral service for Donald O. Bain, 79, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Messer and the Rev. Sherry Reynolds officiating.
Mr. Bain died Oct. 5. He was a native of Pell City, served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 and was a member of the Navy Scouts and Raiders Group in the U.S. Navy, which is now the U.S. Navy Seals. He was in one of the first Navy classes to serve in the Navy Scouts and Raiders Group. He was a member of the Atlanta Textile Club and the Los Angeles Textile Club. His entire career was in textile sales. He started his career with Avondale Mills in Sylacauga and retired in 1985 from Greenwood Mills with 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Bain.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Sue Huston Bain; three daughters, Susan Dean Bain of Lawrenceville, Ga., Robin Huston Foster and husband Dennis of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Amy Flint Murphy of Vinings, Ga.; one brother, Bob Bain and wife Shirley of Sylacauga; two sisters, Lurlin Truitt and husband Reeves of Pell City and Laura Rooker of Pell City; sister-in-law, Jean Bain of Pell City; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, P.O. Box 859, Selma, Ala., 36702-0859.
Members of Verona Perry Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

OXFORD — Graveside service for James Junior Brown, 61, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery
with the Rev. Jerry Johnston officiating.
Mr. Brown died Oct. 6 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, James Elbert Brown, and mother, Flora Clodine Brown.
He is survived by two daughters, Sarbra Clay and husband Jon of Anniston and Monica Brown of Oxford; four sons, Tim Brown and wife Michelle of Oxford, Eddie Ward of Ocala, Fla., James Shane Brown of Oxford and Joey Brown of Oxford; and five grandchildren, Britany Rowan, Terri Anne Brown, Blake Bell, Heather Clay and Barkley Brown.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the 911 fund.

Mrs. Boswell died Oct. 6. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Boswell, and her parents, Thomas and Isabell Etress.
She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Drake of Collins, Mo.; one brother, Paul Etress of Sylacauga; five sisters, Odessa Thornton, Lois Thornton, Estelle Staten, Bettie Mizzell and Carlene Caldwell of Sylacauga; and one grandson, C.L. Drake of Collins, Mo.

Mrs. Cater died Oct. 5.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Cater; two sons, Bo Cater and Tim Cater; one sister, Judy Waggoner; three grandchildren and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.

TALLADEGA — Graveside service for Virginia Elouise Hopkins Cates, 75, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville with the Rev. Glenn Hopkins officiating.
Mrs. Cates died Oct. 5. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Pell City, was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Della Mae Jacobs Daughtery and John Asa Hopkins, and her grandson, Christopher Brent Parker.
She is survived by her husband, J.D. Cates; daughter, Jeanna Cates Parker of Talladega; grandson and wife, Larry Jay and Kim Parker of Talladega; three great-grandsons, Toby Brent Parker, Dalton Jay Parker and Andrew Thomas of Talladega; five sisters, Christine Jones of Mobile, Wilhelmina Blake of Chattanooga, Tenn., Gladys Pfeiffer of Oklahoma, Barbbette VonHalle of Edgewater, Fla., and Delores Faye Hopkins of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, A.J. Hopkins of Fultondale and Billy Hopkins of Pell City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Slaughter, Ross Goolsby, Billy F. Hopkins, Larry J. Parker, Andrew Thomas and Ronald Gilbret.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeanna Parker, Kenny Slaughter and Myrna Martin.
