DONNY WAYNE MIZZELL
SYLACAUGA Funeral service for Donny Wayne Cotton Mizzell, 44, will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with the Rev. Tom McGrady officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Mizzell died Oct. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Mizzell of Sylacauga; his mother, Billie Mizzell of Sylacauga; one son, Josh Mizzell of Sylacauga; two stepsons, Charles Moore of Sylacauga and Matthew Moore of Sylacauga; two daughters, Tisha Mizzell Payne of Sylacauga and Kym Lathem of Talladega; two stepdaughters, Angela Trucks of Childersburg and Jeanne Allen of Sylacauga; one sister, Judy Hollingsworth of Sylacauga; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shane Hollingsworth, Caleb Payne, Thomas Lathem, Tony Hawthorne, James Mizzell and Charles Moore.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
DOYLE LADON SMITH
CHILDERSBURG Graveside service for Doyle LaDon Smith, 54, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Greenhill Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Smith died Oct. 1 at his residence. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of Childersburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Iva Smith of Childersburg; aunts and uncles, Bud and Lilli Randolph, Edna Willingham, Shirley Cain, and Mell Smith; cousins, Kim Puckett, Kay Foss, Kathy Blanchard, Phillip Burleson, Vicki Franks, Gayla Powell, Terry Willingham, Barry Burleson, Pam Willingham, Debra Smith, Mark Smith and Greg Smith.

SYLACAUGA Eugene Young, 68, of Comet Lane, died Oct. 2 at his residence.

TALLADEGA Funeral service for Frieda Montonio Lawson, 28, of 1241 Hayes Road, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Alpine with the Rev. George Armstrong Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Ms. Lawson died Oct. 2 at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston. She attended Munford High School and Talladega High School. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Louise Lawson.
She is survived by one son, Monquise Malik Lawson of Talladega; her father, George Keller of Vincent; one sister, Olivia Whitson of Talladega; one brother, Jeff Lawson of Sylacauga; and her special friend, Charles Jackson of Anniston.
Pallbearers will be Andre Lawson, Michael Lawson, Anthony Lawson, Randy Lawson, Columbus Lawson, Tyrone Lawson, Lee Lawson, Wallace Lawson and Jaye Guyton Jr.
Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the service.

LINCOLN Funeral service for Angela (Ray) Smith, of 875 Colvin Road, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Mark Church of God in Christ with Elder Timothy Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Sept. 27 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
She is survived by one daughter, Ann Pearson of Lincoln; three sons, James Wills and Bobbie Smith of Lincoln and Harvey Smith of Oxford; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.

CHILDERSBURG Funeral service for Easterine G. Wilson, 77, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at A.D. Prayer House in Childersburg with Bishop David L. Norwood officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
in Sylacauga.
Mrs. Wilson died Sept. 28 at Coosa Valley BMC.
She is survived by two daughters, Julia Faye Chaney and Felicia Morrissehe of Sylacauga; two sons, Bobbie G. Wilson of Huntsville and Henry Garrett of South Carolina; one sister, Thelma Hawkins of Waukegan, Ill.; one brother, Joe Lewis Garrett of Detroit, Mich.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.
The body may be viewed Friday from noon until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers and flowerbearers.

Paul Daniel, a friend of Bill W's, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at the VA Hospital in Birmingham.
He is survived by his loving wife, Constance and three fine children, Amy, Marian and Randolph. His beloved adopted children Coccoa, Tommy and Pepita will miss him much also.
A funeral service was held for Mr. Daniel on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 10 W. Walnut St., Sylacauga. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery
on Talladega Highway.

ASHVILLE Funeral service for Lillian Wisner Parker, 83, was Wednesday 2 p.m. at Lemley Funeral Chapel in Oneonta with the Rev. Jackie Bentley officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker died Sept. 29. She lived in Springville most of her life, was a member of St. Clair County Care-Givers and was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Davies and a son, George Thomas Davies.
She is survived by two brothers, Gene Wisner of Boaz and Stanley Wisner of California; three sisters, Lois Bobo of Georgia, Myrtle Bliss of New York and Faye Gilbreath of Rainsville; and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Mike Sullivan, Jody Riddle, Billy Joe Stephens, James Wisner, Kevin Green, Steve Barksdales, Mark Golden and Ronnie Wisner.
Lemley Funeral Chapel in Oneonta directed the service.
BILL ROBERTS
LINCOLN Graveside service for Bill Roberts, 87, was Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lincoln City Cemetery
with the Rev. Lowell Ledbetter officiating.
Mr. Roberts died Sept. 30 at Citizens BMC. He was a native and lifelong resident of Lincoln, was a member and deacon of Lincoln Baptist Church. He was a long time postmaster in Lincoln, was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred J. Roberts and a daughter, Margaret Gene Caton. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was a member of the Advisory Board of First National Bank of Talladega.
He is survived by one granddaughter, Ashley Caton of Jemison; one son-in-law, Wayne Caton of Jemison; and several nieces and nephews.
Deacons of Lincoln Baptist Church served as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lincoln Baptist Church.
Usrey Funeral Home directed the service.

PORTLAND, Ore. Funeral service for Eddie C. Thomas, 63, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at First A.M.E. Zion Church in Portland, Ore.
Mr. Thomas died Sept. 26. He was formerly of Sylacauga. He was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber and was a Master Mason of St. James Masonic Lodge in Portland, Ore.
He is survived by his wife, Artchla F. Thomas; his mother, Virginia Carter; daughters, April Thomas, Antonette Brown, Kim Green and Cherie Huntley; sons, David Thomas, Dwayne Looney, Stanley Norris, Cedric Dew and Cedric Looney; stepchildren, Vanessa Davis, Cassandra James, Althea Sails, Leedessa Colbert, Bernadette Thatcher and Anette Thatcher; brothers, Eddie B. Thomas, Robert L. Carter and Roosevelt Carter; sisters, Virginia Averitte, Mary A. Carter and Pearlie McKenzie; 28 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

NETTIE ELLA TALLEY DAVIS TRAMMELL
RAGLAND Funeral service for Nettie Ella Talley Davis Trammell, 80, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Edwin Talley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery
in Shoal Creek Valley.
Mrs. Trammell died Oct. 3. She was born in Ashville, lived in Ragland most of her life and was a member of Family Assembly of God in Ragland. She was preceded in death by a son, Willie Edward Davis.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Bishop and Corlas Davis of Decatur and Mary Jane Mitchell of Morris; one son, the Rev. Levernon Davis of Pell City; five sisters, Gaynell Jackson and Lucile Bishop of Ashville, Edna Clem of Pell City, Bertha Newton of Springville and Betty Sue Bigelow of Miami, Fla.; one brother, Carl Talley of Ragland; nine grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
