Elizabeth Talia Ferro Hubbard, 91, of Wilton, died Jan. 12, 2000. She was a member of Montevallo First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Lois H. Lucas of Montevallo; a son, Ted W. Hubbard of Jonesboro, Ark.; a sister, Nita Carter of Town Creek; a brother, R.B. Taliaferro of Milton, Fla.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 15 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Bart Kingsley and Tom Hammett presiding. Burial was in Montevallo City Cemetery, Rockco Funeral Home directing.
LILY BETH COUCH HYDE

Lily Beth Couch Hyde, 82, of Semionole, Fla., died Jan. 9, 2000.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James F. Hyde.
She is survived by her sisters, Pauline C. Merriam of Birmingham and Nell C. Young of Tallahassee, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Lillian Steele Grant of Hoover and Flora Cochran of Anderson, S.C.; a brother, Zaba Frank Couch of Blue Mountain Beach, Fla.; nephews, Roy Young III of Orlando, Fla., Frank Couch III of Umitilla, Fla., David Couch of Grandisle, Fla., Bruce Steele of Birmingham, Randy Cochran of Memphis, Tenn., and David Cochran of Florida; nieces, Susan Young of Billings, Mont., and Judy Murphy of Slidell, La.; great nieces, Joanna Couch and Libby Grace Couch, both of Grand Isle, Fla.; grand nephews, Joshua Couch and Elijah Couch, both of Grand Isle, Fla.; and numerous family friends and loved ones.
Services were held in Florida, Charter Funeral Home Directing.
MORGAN "GLOVER" LOVEJOY

Morgan "Glover" Lovejoy, 85, of Wilton, died Jan. 12, 2000. He was a coal miner for 25 years and worked for Blue Circle for 10 years. He also was a member of Wilton Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Mitchie Lucas of Montevallo and Phyllis Frederick of Montevallo; a son, James Morgan "Jimmy" Lovejoy of Randolph; four sisters, Annie Lumpkin of Centreville, Sarah Cochran of Centreville, Clarke Hosmer of Midfield and Evelyn Williamson of Midfield; a brother, Freddie Lovejoy of Aldrich; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Jan. 13 at Six Mile Cemetery, Dennis Draper presiding. Rockco Funeral Home directed the services.
ALLEN WALKER SIDES
Member of Providence Baptist Church
Allen Walker Sides, 63, of Jemison, died Jan. 10, 2000. He was a salesman for Mims Marine in Jemison and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Montevallo. Sides graduated from Woodlawn High School.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Julia Hardy Sides, and his father, Floyd Sides.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Blair Sides of Jemison; a daughter, Elizabeth S. Rickey and her husband, Terry, of Helena; two sons, Blair Sides and his wife, Kathryn, of Brierfield, and Allen Scott Sides and his wife, Ginny, of Pell City; a sister, Rebecca Lowery of Jemison; four grandchildren, Terry Wayne Rickey Jr., Hannah Elizabeth Rickey, Jared Edwards and Jessica Michelle Rickey; two nieces; three nephews; and a host of friends.
Services were held Jan. 13 at Rockco Funeral Home chapel in Montevallo.
Burial was in Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, Rockco Funeral Home directing.
CHARLES THOMAS WALLACE JR.

Charles Thomas Wallace Jr., 78, of Pelham, died Jan. 10, 2000.
He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a member of Alabaster First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by Ernest Wallace.
He is survived by his sisters, Mrs. Paul G. Lee of Lavonia, Ga., and Mrs. M.F. Burgess Sr. of Birmingham; a brother, William E. Wallace of Pelham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 12 at Rockco Funeral Home chapel, Wayne Crumpton and Bennie Peacock presiding.
Burial was in Montevallo Cemetery, Rockco Funeral Home directing the services.
ELINOR PETERS WOOLLEY

Elinor Peters Woolley, of Montevallo, died Jan. 14, 2000. She was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge No. 70 and was a member of Montevallo First Baptist Church.A life-time resident of Aldrich, she attended Montevallo High School and was married to Roy Willis Woolley for 60 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Jones and husband, Alex, of Hoover and Cathy Gideon of husband, Jim, of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, Roy Dayle Woolley of Aldrich; a brother, Willard Farington Peters of Hueytown; and three grandsons, John, Ben and David Gideon.
Graveside services were held Jan. 17 at Montevallo Cemetery, Rev. John Mount officiating.
Rockco Funeral Home directed the services.

Edward L. Blackerby, 89, of Wilsonville, died Jan. 21, 2000.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Blackerby; a brother, Alfonze Blackerby; and a sister, Edna Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Blackerby of Wilsonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Elsie Jones and J.V. Jones of Shelby; a son, Randy Blackerby of Wilsonville; five brothers, U.V. Blackerby, Rusan Blackerby, J.W. Blackerby, Roland Blackerby and George Blackerby; a sister, Mildred Daise of Wilsonville; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services were held Jan. 22 at Bolton Chapel, Rev. Terry Linhome officiating. Burial was in Pinelawn Cemetery, Bolton-Brown Service directing.

George "Sonny" Bowling, 69, of Childersburg, died Jan. 7, 2000, at Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center.
He is survived by four sisters, Marie Bowling of Childersburg, Chalice Sherill of Childersburg, Adelia Kaestner of Sylacauga and Katie Taylor of Alabaster; four brothers, J. Bruce Bowling of Childersburg, John Bowling of Childersburg, Henry Bowling of Childersburg and Frank Bowling of Childersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 10 at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, Rev. Jerry Taylor and Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Burial was in Greenhill Memorial Cemetery, Curtin and Son Funeral Home directing.

Ethel Roman Cochran, 87, of Pea Ridge, died Jan. 18, 2000. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and was a member of the Pea Ridge Senior Citizens group.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert J. "Son" Cochran.
She is survived by four daughters, Lynn Waller of Adger, Billie Steadmon of Decatur, Nancy Cochran of Pelham and Susan McCoy of Palmer, Ak.; four sons, William Edward Cochran of Montevallo, Jack Wilbert Cochran of Pea Ridge, Donald Douglas Cochran of Brierfield and Jerry Leon Cochran of Montevallo; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 20 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Albert Pickett officiating. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery, Rockco Funeral Home directing.
