Clara Mae DeFoor, 85, of Phil Campbell, Ala. passed away March 3, 2010 at Russellville Hospital.
She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 12 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Olen Burcham officiating. Burial will be in Edgar's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
She is survived by children, Brenda Stovall McCulloch and husband, Ronnie, of Russellville, Steve DeFoor and wife, Alice, of Russellville, David DeFoor and wife, Roxann, of Moulton; daughter-in-law, Pam DeFoor, of Red Bay;
sisters-in-law, Loree Strickland, of Gainesville, Fla.; Nan DeFoor, of Colquitt, Ga.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by husband, John B. DeFoor; and son, John B. DeFoor, Jr.

James Theron Taylor, 83, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010. He was born April 17, 1926. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Phil Campbell. He retired from U.S. Steel in 1985 and returned to his hometown of Phil Campbell to pursue his love of farming.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Dr. Jim Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery
in the Dime Community.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Pallbearers are Wesley Davis, Daniel Davis, Travis Defoor, Jr., Wayne Hamby, Mickey Holdbrooks, Bill Scott and Joe Shelton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stonewall and Vista Taylor; siblings, Willowdean Hudson, Imogene Taylor; two infant sons, James Leon and Terry Wayne Taylor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susie Cagle Taylor; three daughters, Bobbie White and husband, Robert, Bonnie Davis and husband, Tim, and Diane Bradley and husband, Eric, all of Pleasant Grove, Ala.; siblings, Mitchell Taylor and wife, Gail, of Harpersville, Ala., Louise Hamby, of Haleyville, Ala.; two grandsons, Wesley Davis and wife, Valerie, and Daniel Davis; one granddaughter, Rachel Bradley; one great-grandson, Taylor Davis; step-daughter, Fancy Holdbrooks and husband, Mickey, and their son, Ryan; several nieces and nephews.

Veto Preston Baccus, 70, of Haleyville, Ala. passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at Lakeland Community Hospital. He was a Baptist.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Richard Crumpton officiating. Burial was in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by children, Carolyn Waid, Leisa Baccus, and David Baccus and his wife, Anita; sisters, Dottie Sherrill and Coreen Cox; grandchildren, Jonathan Hicks and wife, Andrea, Kassidi and Austin Waid, and Daylon and Devon Baccus; and great-grandchild, Morgan Hicks.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Levi Preston and Dora Berry Baccus; wife, Gwenell Baccus, son-in-law, Carey Waid; and sister, Mary Letson.

Amelia Ann Berrian, 69, of Phil Campbell passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Haleyville Healthcare and Rehab. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Phil Campbell.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Ricky Mann officiating. Burial was in Hines Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Berrian, Curby Swinney, Christopher Berrian, Mark Bates, Trampas Swinney and Brandon Clement.
She is survived by children, Rebecca Marie Taylor and husband, Joe, James William Berrian and wife, Gina, Sharon Evelyn Watson and husband, Mike, and Patricia Ann Swinney and husband, Trampas; grandchildren, Joanna Hulsey, James Berrian, Kimberly Berrian, Christopher Berrian, Curby Swinney and Evelyn Swinney; nephews and niece, Donnie Bates, Phil Bates, Mark Bates, Jennifer Hornsby and William Hornsby.

Ray Williams, 66, passed away at his home in Russellville on Thursday, March 4, 2010.
The visitation will be 12 - 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville.
The funeral will follow at 2 pm. in the chapel. Burial will be in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Johnny Richardson.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Green Williams; children, Kim Allen and husband, Johnny, Tammie Aycock and husband, John; the loves of his life - his grandchildren, Whitney Allen and husband, Zack, Lesli Allen, Sarah Aycock, John David Aycock; brothers, Jack Williams and wife, MaryAnn, Qunnice Williams and wife, Patsy; sister, Sue Poston and husband, Raymond; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ruth Williams; sister, Odessa Simpson; and brother, Quinton Williams.

Retired from Winn-Dixie
Services for Lora Dell Harworth will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Lewis May and Patsy Twiner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Harworth, 75, of Meridian, died Friday, May 17, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice of Marion. She was a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Larry James Harworth and his fiancee, Michelle Loewen, of Warren, Mich.; Sharon Louise McDonald and her fiance, Allen Wade, and Sandra Crawford and her husband, Brad, all of Meridian; a grandson, Bradley J. Crawford II; a brother, A. G. James of Morton; two sisters, Lyida Alice Burnham of Puckett; and Lillie Mae Burnham and her husband, Henry, of Fort Worth, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Swann Harworth.
The family requests memorials be made to New Covenant United Methodist Church and Guardian Angel Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Burnham, Ralph Burnham, Doug James, Travis Higginbotham, David Barr and Clennis Thompson.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
