Billy Richard Bryant, 46, of Boaz, died Monday, April 28, 2008, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Services are today, Thursday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at McRae Chapel in Boaz with Scott Bryant and James Perigo officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include his daughter, Haley Bryant, of Boaz; parents, Billy and Ann Bryant, of Boaz; and two granddaughters.
Helen Locklear
Helen Locklear, 79, of Albertville, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at her home.
Services were Wednesday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Martin and Harvey Taylor officiating. Burial followed at Mount Vernon Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Locklear; daughters, Kathy (Wallace) Howard, of White, Ga., and Rebecca “Becky” Holmes, of Albertville; son, David Locklear, of Albertville; sisters, Louise (Roy) Nelson, of Anniston, and Eloise (Bobby) Pledger, of Milledgeville, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

Lola Lee King, of Union Grove and formerly of Guntersville, died Monday, April 28, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital.
Services are today, Thursday, May 1, at 1 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with John Howard and Mike Glenn officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Grove First Baptist Church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby E. King; son, Barry Edward (Janet) King, of Chesterfield County, Va.; daughter, Tina (Ted) Monroe, of Arab; sister, Glenda Nicholson, of Kennesaw, Ga., stepbrother, Craig Turner; stepsister, Carolyn Lang; and five grandchildren.
Charles William Fleming
Charles William Fleming, 75, of Gadsden and formerly of Boaz, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced by McRae Funeral Home of Boaz.
He is survived by his son, Wallace Fleming; daughters, Angie Fleming and Cathy (Barry) Bottoms; four granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

Margaret Estelle Eubanks, 84, of Albertville, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Services were Tuesday, April 29, at 2 p.m. at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wilburn Dunn officiating. Burial followed at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara (Gordon) Smalley, Sarah (Joe) Fussell, Rhonda (Bobby) Anthony and Connie (Damon) Willoughby; daughter, Mary Hudgins; son, James (Sue) Johnston; and sister, Elsie Chaffin.

Donald Phillip “Donnie” Bryant, 28, of Albertville, died Monday, April 28, 2008, in Guntersville.
A memorial service is today, Thursday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at Carr’s Chapel-in-the-Pines in Guntersville with his grandfather, Philip Black, officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley Bryant; father, Don Bryant, of Anniston; mother, Catherine Black, of Albertville; sister, Destin Black, of Florida; father-in-law, David Whisenhunt, of Tennessee; and mother-in-law, Janie Whisenhunt, of Jacksonville.

James Ezra Amason Jr., 81, of Albertville, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at his home.
Graveside services were Friday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at the Union Grove No. 1 Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Alan Lang officiating and Adams Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Rhunell Amason; sons, Stephen Amason and James Richard Amason; brother, Charles Amason; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two favorite nieces.

Ralph Green, 83, of Midfield, died Thursday, May 1, 2008.
Masonic graveside services will be Tuesday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at Whiton Cemetery
with Brown Service West Chapel directing. Visitation will be Monday, May 5, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Hueytown.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Chamblee Green; daughter, Jackie Jones; son, Gary Green; sister, Elsie Jordon; brothers, Johnny Green and Hoyt Green; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

in DeKalb County.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Sonya and Hamza Tlemsani, of Gulf Breeze, and Ingrid Galloway, of Albertville; sister, Syble Hodges, of Albertville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

in the Hebron community.
Survivors include his wife, Corlis Copeland; stepdaughters, Cynthia Roden, of Huntsville, and Tracie Roden, of Boaz; sons, Allen D. Copeland, of Horton, and William Copeland, of Boaz; brother, Wayne Copeland, of Boaz; special daughter-in-law, Chrissa Copeland; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Henry “Doc” Gaskin, 86, of Boaz (Etowah County), died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Services were Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at Etowah Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Wayne White, Steven White and Chris Gaskin officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Richards Gaskin; son, Larry (Deborah) Gaskin; daughter, Sheila (Rickey) Haygood; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
