FAYETTEVILLE — Funeral service for Willie Rudolph Collier, 62, will be Saturday, May 17, at 1 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Timothy Green officiating. Interment will be in Talladega Springs Cemetery. Mr. Collier passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Laura Collier. He held the position of pastor for many years. He was a faithful servant to Christ our Lord and a soldier until the very end of this life. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Elsie Collier of Fayetteville; daughter, Crystal Wetlesen and husband Steve of Sylacauga; grandson, Isaiah Wetlesen; five brothers and one sister. ALPINE — Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jo Duncan Garrett, 49, will be Saturday, May 17, at 2 p.m. at Africa Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Ashley, the Rev. Keith Lawson, the Rev. Isaac Richardson and the Rev. Develkio Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Africa Baptist Church Cemetery, Talladega. Mrs. Garrett will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to service. Mrs. Garret died Friday, May 9, 2008 at her residence. She was a 1978 graduate of the Winterboro High School, worked in the Talladega County School System for 15 years, and a member of Africa Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, step-mother, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Garrett of Alpine; daughter, Katrina Garrett of Huntsville; special nephew, Rondarius Cook of Oxford; father, Ernest Duncan of Winterboro; brothers, William (Thelma) Duncan, Matthew (Brendalyn) Duncan all of Talladega and Alfonza (Gail) Duncan of Mt. Hollis; step-brother, David (Essie) Garret of Alpine; sisters, Louise (Ralph) Morris, Mary (John D.) McKenzie, Annie (Michael) Harmon all of Talladega and Agnes (Robert) Barber of Sycamore; and step-sisters, Tabitha Armstrong of Sycamore and Fannie (Thomas) Twymon of Talladega. Mrs. Lamberth passed away May 14, 2008 at Russell Medical Center. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Cunard and husband Sam of Hanover; son, Tommy E. Lamberth and wife Wilma of Freeport, Fla.; sister, Sarah Parker of Garland, Texas; close friend/roommate, Felsie Patterson of Goodwater; three grandchildren, Angie Varner of Stewartville, Geri Brown and husband Phillip of Equality and Jennifer Lucas of Sylacauga; three great grandchildren, Kyle and Trey Brown and Olivia Lucas; five step-grandchildren; and close friend, Debbie Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lamberth. She was a homemaker, wife and grandmother and a resident of the Goodwater Nursing Home. Visitation will be Friday, May 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the North Chapel.

Mrs. Mosley will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to service. Mrs. Mosley died Friday, May 9, 2008, at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. She was educated in Talladega County School System, retired inspector with 20 years of service from Brian Toggs Inc., and member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Munford, where she served as trustee, usher, missionary society, president of red circle and kitchen committee. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and three brothers. She is survived by her husband, William L. Mosley of Munford; sons, Joe D. (Yvonne) Mosley, William (Gail) Mosley, Clifford M. Mosley and Shannon (Megan) Mosley all of Munford; daughters, Linda M. (Earl) Moss, Valerie (Stephen) Harris, Shirley A. TALLADEGA — Funeral services for Mrs. Adelle S. Jacks, 86, will be Saturday, June 14, 2008, 11 a.m., at Usrey Chapel with Mr. Ronnie L. Hurst officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Jacks died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Stringfellow Hospital, Anniston, Ala. She was a native of Clay County and lived in Talladega most of her life. She was retired from the textile industry. Mrs. Jacks was a member of the Church of Christ in Talladega, where she taught Sunday School Class for four and five year olds for twenty-five years. Mrs. Jacks is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Lisa Jacks, of Talladega; granddaughters, Lori Jacks of Talladega and Lindsay Jacks of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Jacks.

Carman III of Montana; one sister, Sherry Gage of Mt. Grove, MO; and one grandchild. Mr. Carman was a native of Mt. Grove, MO, and former resident of Talladega.
