LARRY FRANKLIN PRUITT
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Larry Franklin Pruitt, 57, will be Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. at the Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dustin Brock officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Pruitt died Dec. 25 in Talladega.
He was a a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and a retired truck driver. He is a former employee of Kimberly Clark Corporation and a farmer. He served in the U.S. Army as a Spec. 5 and was a member of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce H. Pruitt of Talladega; two sons, Brian Scott Pruitt and Jason Brent Pruitt of Talladega; his mother, Elizabeth E. Pruitt of Vincent; a sister, Judy Whatley of Pell City; three brothers, Ricky Pruitt of Graysville, AL.; Stanley Pruitt of Vincent, AL.; and Paul Wayne Pruitt of Ft. Worth, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Pruitt.
Active pallbearers will be Bobby Holmes, Corey Holmes, Chip Pruitt, Ronnie McGrady, Chris McGrady and David Challender.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Dan Holmes, Charles Hawkins, Ken Carter and Ed Whatley.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home.

SYLVAN SPRINGS — Funeral services for Thomas Larry Robertson, 53, will be Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 12 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Roberson died Friday, Dec. 23, at Brookwood Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Robertson of Sylvan Springs, three daughters, Dawn Giddens and husband Trinity of Wetumpka, Tammy Brackwell and husband Dennis of Sylvan Springs, and Terri Koch and husband Glenn of Douglasville, GA; two sons, Jacob Robertson of Florence and Matthew Robertson and wife Sabrina of Jacksonville, NC, five grandchildren, Toby, Julie, Alex, Shelby and Taylor; his parents, James and Lela Faye Robertson of Childersburg; his brother Dale Robertson and wife Idalene of Childersburg; his sister, Debra Wells and husband Walter of Childersburg; his K-9 companions Pepe and Suzie; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Mary Selvia of Miamisburg, OH.
Pallbearers will be Chris Robertson, Brian Thornton, Glenn Thornton, Alex McCoy, Dennis Brackwell and Mitchell Stephens.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 27, from 10 to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel will direct the services.

ASHVILLE — Funeral service for John W. Rogers, 86, will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. at Usrey Chapel with Dr. James Sampley officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial Garden.
Mr. Rogers died Dec. 24 at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia Rogers; a daughter, Ellen (Mike) Tims, Pell City; a son, Jerry W. (Rhonda) Rogers, Ashville; a sister, Christine Gailey, Gadsden; a brother, Joe (Ann) Rogers, North Carolina; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Active Pallbearers will be Tim Swindall, Rodney Free, Justin Rogers, Josh Wyatt, Doyle Stevens and Jack Everett.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Charlie St. John, 92, formerly of Ragland, will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Ford and the Rev. Ed Talley officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. St. John died Dec. 21 in Tyler, Texas.
He is survived by a daughter, Gloria Nell Gray (Wilmer) of Mabank, Texas; a sister, Thelma Pardue of Pell City; a brother, Earl St. John of Cook Springs; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Dec. 27 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.

CROPWELL — Mr. James David "Partner" Townsend, 79, of Cropwell, Alabama passed away December 24, 2005 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Vance with the Rev. Gordon Lee and the Rev. Ronnie Thompson officiating. He will lie in state at the church for 1 hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Townsend attended school in Bibb County. He was a U.S. Marine Corp World War II veteran, serving in the South Pacific for four and a half years. He was a faithful member of Coosa Valley Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother Gerald (Juanita) Townsend of Cropwell; by 6 sisters, Larette (Robert) Gable of Somerville, Nell (Ray) Short of Vance, Faye Crowe of Tuscaloosa, Helen Burnette of Tuscaloosa, Hazel (Ray) Meacham of West Blockton, and Rhonda Crowe of Tuscaloosa; by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Gary Townsend, Craig Short, Ronnie Gallant, Bruce Cleveland, Duane Deerman, and Wayne Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Isbell, Andy Worthington, Glen Grady, Allen Grady, Greg Crowe, Ken Crowe, Kyle Crowe, Chris Short, Clyde Dailey, Allen Armstrong, Danny Isbell, Jr., Johnny Isbell, and Jeff Thompson, and Larry Layfield.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

GOODWATER — Mr. John J. Trammell, 95, died Saturday, December 24, at Goodwater Health Care.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Maysel Earline Trott, 65, will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Grice officiating. Burial will be in Standpipe Cemetery
in Birmingham, Ala.
Mrs. Trott died Dec. 21 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair.
She loved singing gospel music and was a teacher of gospel at the Hands for Jesus Ministries. The family will accept flowers or suggests contributions to Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 501 Morris Ave., Sylacauga, AL., 35150.
She is survived by a daughter, Jamie M. Trott of Sylacauga; five brothers, S.A. "Buddy" Trott of Shelby County; Boyce L. Trott Sr. of Shelby County; Raymond Trott of Shelby County; Quille Trott of Dadeville; and Jimmy Trott of Pell City; two grandchildren, Christy Franklin of Shelby County and Stacia Bailey of Sylacauga; one great-grandchild, Parker Franklin of Shelby County; her Most Special Friend, Ernest Moore of Sylacauga; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Dec. 28 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

in Alpine, Alabama.
Mrs. Woods died December 25 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.
She is survived by one brother, Thomas Leggon Taylor of Rome, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.
