PAULETTE ANN HOOPER BOYD
ASHVILLE - Funeral services for Paulette Ann Hooper Boyd, 60, will be Saturday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at Usrey Chapel with the Rev. Edwin Talley officiating. Burial will be at Ashville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd died Thursday, June 30, in Pell City. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi; past matron of Martha Elizabeth Chapter 367 Eastern Star; she was very active in the musical program of St. Clair Baptist Association; she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chula Vista. She is survived by her daughter, Mauriann Warnix of Locust Fork; mother, Katherine Hooper Clements of Talladega; and grandchildren, Kayla and Dylan Warnix of Locust Fork. The family requests donations be made to Lakeside Hospice, P. O. Box 544, Pell City, Ala. 35125.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Davis, John Paul Davis, Scott Davis, A.K. Boatright, Richard Warnix and Brian Brewster. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

LINCOLN - Funeral services for Robert L. Massey, 70, will be Sunday, July 3, at 3 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Parker officiating. Burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery. Mr. Massey died Thursday, June 30, at BMC Montclair in Birmingham. He was a native of West Virginia and had lived in Talladega County since 1968; he was a retired oil company supervisor; he was also owner and operator of several convenience stores; he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Judy F. Massey of Lincoln; daughters, Robin Smith and Kimberil Harris both of Lincoln; sons, Charles Massey of West Virginia, Bryan Harris of Ashville and Wayne Harris of Lincoln; sisters, Peggy Lewis of Attalla and Delores Billups of Mt. Hope, W. Va.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Saturday, July 2, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Harris, Todd Harris, Chris Smith, Michael Smith, Shane Smith and Roy McCaig. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.

CULLMAN - Graveside services for Alpha S. Mathis, 74, will be Saturday, July 2, at 10 a.m. at North Macedonia Cemetery
in Vincent. Mr. Mathis died Thursday, June 30, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Mavelen Mathis of Cullman; son, Richard Mathis of Cullman; daughters, Sheryl Mathis of Nashville, Tenn. and Teresa Mathis of Cullman; sisters, Mayburn Limbaugh of Chicago, Ill., May Henderson of Birmingham, and Sarah Craft of Birmingham; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.

SYLACAUGA - Funeral services for Jeffrey L. Peterson, 33, will be Saturday, July 2, at 2 p.m. at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stacey Hill and Pastor Frederick Brown officiating. Burial will be at Sylacauga Cemetery.
Mr. Peterson died Sunday, June 26, at Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center in Sylacauga. He was a native of Talladega County; a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church; a graduate of B. B. Comer High School; and employed by Avondale Mills, Inc.
He is survived by son, JaCoby Bradford of Sycamore; mother, Annie B. Peterson of Sylacauga; sisters, Wendy Peterson and Latoya Peterson, both of Sylacauga; grandmother, Helen Peterson of Sylacauga. Friends will serve as pallbearers. Madden's Funeral Service will direct the service.

BOBBY GENE BICE
ASHVILLE - Bobby Gene Bice, 67, of Ashville died Monday, July 4, 2005, at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at Usrey chapel in Pell City on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Cool Springs Baptist in Ashville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8.
Mr. Bice was a Baptist minister for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife - Brenda Joyce Bice; 2 sons - David Wayne Bice and Darren (Sissy) Bice; 4 grandchildren - Bronson Manning, Hatie Bice, Braxton Bice and Lauren Bice.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
MARY FRANCIS COOPER
TALLADEGA - Graveside rites for Mary Francis Cooper, 82, of Talladega will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega with the Rev. Daniel Bentley officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cooper died July 2, 2005, at her home in Talladega.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, retired from Bemis Company and a member of Baptist faith.
Survivors include 2 nephews: Johnny and Mary Cooper of Talladega, Jerry and Carolyn Cooper of Talladega; 1 niece: Linda and Bobby Cockrell of Dalton, Illinois; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband: Curtis Cooper; 1 brother: D.F. Moxley and 1 sister: Mattie Lee Burrell.
Active pallbearers will be Johnny J. Cooper, Johnny J. Cooper II, Jerry G. Cooper, Jay G. Cooper, Joey Haynes and Glen Gaither.
Flowers will be accepted for the service.

ANNISTON - Funeral arrangements for Andrew "Tubb" Dye, 41, of Anniston will be announced by Anniston Funeral Service in Anniston, Ala.
Mr. Dye died Monday, July 7, 2005, at his residence in Anniston.

SYLACAUGA - Gerald Hobson Fowler, 56, of Sylacauga died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Clinch Memorial Hospital. He was born February 7, 1949.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Wanda Sue Fowler of Wetumpka, Alabama, Geraldean Brewer of Clanton, Alabama; 2 sons, Robert Earl Fowler of Prattville, Alabama, Danny Ray Fowler of Dothan, Alabama; Sister, Florence Fowler McDonald of Eclectic, Alabama; brother, Rev. Wayne Fowler of Sylacauga; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randy Allen, Tommy Allen, Nathan Carter, Frank Fowler, Jason Epperson, and Michael McDonald. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim McDonald.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 3005, at Radney-Smith Chapel in Sylacauga with the Rev. James Wesley officiating. Interment will be at Fayetteville Cemetery
in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Survivors include husband: James Hosey of Sylacauga; 3 sons: Kirby Hosey of Sylacauga, Ricky Hosey of Sylacauga and Danny Hosey of Sylacauga; 3 daughters: Kim Ricks of Sylacauga, LaQuetta Lightsey of Sylacauga and Danetta Hosey of Sylacauga; mother: Mary Ruth Conn of Sylacauga; 3 brothers: Howard Barnett of Sylacauga, Bobby Barnett of Sylacauga and Roger Barnett of Wedowee; 4 sisters: Esther Goswick of Sylacauga, Jeanette White of Sylacauga; Nina Murphy of Sylacauga and Hazel Ragsdale of Sylacauga; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pete Miles, Mickey Guy, Ken Hosey, Jim Braswell, Ray Welden and Gordan Varner.
Mrs. Hosey was preceded in death by her son: Johnny Dale Hosey.
