ELLA DEAN HESTER
MUNFORD - Funeral service for Mrs. Ella Dean Hester, 62, of Munford is at 2 p.m., Monday at Usrey Chapel in Talladega with Rev. Richard O’Connor officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega.
Mrs. Hester died Friday, May 27, at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham.
Mrs. Hester was a native of Clay County, but grew up in Talladega. She resided in Munford the past 18 years.
Mrs. Hester was a graduate of Talladega High School Class of 1960. She was a member of Eastaboga Baptist Church and Beta View Hills Church of Christ. She retired from the Social Security Administration in Talladega after 36 years of service.
Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence ED. Hester of Munford; one daughter, Deana (Phillip) Gaskin of Oxford; one son, Doug (Anita) Hester of Munford; four grandchildren, Gillian and Whitney Hester and Ariel and Thomas Gaskin; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Gavin Hester; two sisters, Edna Brown and Patricia Sewell both of Talladega.
Pallbearers are Tim Hester, Glen Brown, Patrick Sewell, Ray Sewell, Tim Hurtado, William Smith, Mike Hester, Mark Hester, Lynn Hester and Doug Hurtado.
Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct the service.
RITA JO HETHCOX
SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Rita Jo Hethcox, 35, is at 2 p.m. Sunday in Radney-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doris McCellan officiating. Burial will follow in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery
in Westover.
Miss Hethcox died Friday, May 27, at her residence in Sylacauga.
She is preceded in death by her father, W.L. Hethcox. She attended Sycamore Congregational Holiness Church.
She is survived by her mother, Jo Hethcox of Sylacauga; four sisters, Robbie Boyd of Vincent, Tammy Hethcox of Childersburg and Jill Stone of Sylacauga, Vinnie Hughes of Sylacauga; one brother, Gene Hethcox of Selma; three aunts, Geraldine Thomas of Lake Wells, Fla., Mary Hethcox of Chelsea, Jimmie Sue Overton of Westover; one uncle, Jackie Ray Kelley of Mobile; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Brandon Boyd, Billy Ray, Eugene Stone Jr., Alvin Lucas, Billy Fields, Terry Jones, Billy Boyd and Roy Fields.
Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Allen, Jimmy Ganey and Billy Skelton.
Visitation was held Saturday.

GEORGE HOLLAND JR.
TALLADEGA - Funeral service for Mr. George Holland Jr., 43, of Talladega is at 1 p.m., Monday in Kelly Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. L.L. Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Kelly Springs Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Holland died Wednesday, May 25, at his residence.
Mr. Holland was a graduate of Munford High School. He was a member of Kelly Springs Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, assistant superintendent of the Sunday school, a member of the male chorus and a layman of the church.
Mr. Holland retired from the Transportation Department of the state of Alabama.
He is survived by two sons, Brandon L. Holland and Marquentin J. Holland, both of Talladega; two sisters, Joyce Truss and Tammy Holland, both of Talladega; and one brother, Jackie R. Holland of Talladega.
Terry’s Metropolitan Mortuary of Talladega will direct the service.
VICTOR RUDD JR.
SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Mr. A. Victor Rudd Jr., 59, is at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5:30-9 p.m. Monday at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel.
Mr. Rudd died Saturday, May 28, at Brookwood Medical Center.
Mr. Rudd retired from Rebel Electronics. He was a member of Mignon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Rudd of Sylacauga; two sons, Michael Rudd and Bradley Rudd, both of Sylacauga; daughter, Hanna Rudd of Sylacauga; sister, Helen Scott of Sylacauga; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

SYLACAUGA - Graveside services for Mr. Robert L. Ballard, 55, Sylacauga, will be Saturday 1 p.m. from the Pine Grove Cemetery
with the Rev. Willie J. Oden. Mr. Ballard died Friday, May 27, at his residence. He is survived by his brother, Mr. James (Lillian) Ballard of Ellenwood, Ga.; step-father, James W. Ballard Sr., of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two uncles, Mr. Bobby (Sallye) Player of Birmingham and Mr. Theo Player of Sylacauga; two nieces, Yolanda Ballard and Tiffany Ballard; and great nephew Raphael James Ballard all of Ellenwood, Ga.
He was a member of St. Thomas United Methodist Church and a native of Talladega County. He was a U.S. Veteran and a graduate of East Highland High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta M. Ballard. Madden's Funeral Service will direct.
MARGARET L. ADAIR DAVIS
PELL CITY - Funeral services for Margaret L. Adair Davis, 64, will be Friday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Chapel with the Rev. Harold Donald and the Rev. Ken Maddox officiating. Burial will be in Harpersville Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs Davis died June 1. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney E. Davis; two brothers, Sonny Adair and Jimmy Adair; and her parents, W.D. and Bertha M. Reid Adair. She is survived by daughters, Regina Usrey, Jana Coker and Laurie Whitfield; sister, Laura Payne; brothers, Charlie Adair, Roy D. Adair, George M. Adair and Thomas Adair; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Payne, John McCormick, George W. Adair, Shawn Cox, Tony Teer, Jimmy Davis, Wayne Larimer, Matthew Coker, Rafe Johnston and Jeremy Glenn. Kilgroe Funeral Home Pell City will direct the service.

SYLACAUGA - Florence M. Gilbert, 83, died Wednesday, June 1, at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Curtis and Son Funeral Home.

LINCOLN - Funeral services for Pierce Eugene "Gene" Dulaney, 88, will be Saturday, June 4, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Chapel Talladega with the Rev. James Abernathy and the Rev. Freddie Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Plum Springs Cemetery
in Lincoln.
Mr. Dulaney died Thursday, June 2, at Citizens BMC. He was a native of Calhoun County and a lifelong resident of Lincoln. He was of Baptist Faith and was retired from Anniston Foundry. Also, he was retired from Calhoun Co. as a bus driver and a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Louise Dulaney of Lincoln; son, William Gordon (Rachel) Dulaney of Lincoln; daughter, Frances Dulaney (Travis) Hill; grandsons, Tommy Dulaney of Pell City, Jerry Dulaney of Ohatchee, William Ray Dulaney of Lincoln and Todd Gavin Hill of Lincoln; brothers, Howell L. Dulaney of Pell City and William Dulaney of Eastaboga; sisters, Margaret Barnhill of Oxford, Mary Christopher of Golden Springs, Mertle Morris of Jacksonville, Fla., and Eddie Mae Edwards of Anniston; four great grandsons and three great granddaughters.
Pallbearers will be Charles Dulaney, Jimmy Shears, Douglas Dulaney, Barron Dulaney, Ronald Dulaney and Ed Ramsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernest Hale, Alfred Tipton, Ray Allredge, Joe Hughes and George Clark. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. HAROLD STALLWORTH
CHILDERSBURG - Funeral services for Harold Stallworth, formerly of Selma, will be at Saturday, June 4, at 1 p.m. at the Enon Baptist Church in Childersburg, with the Rev. Calvin Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in the Lilly Rhoden Cemetery
in Childersburg.
Mr. Stallworth died at the Caraway Medical Center in Birmingham on May 26. He was employed by the city of Childersburg. He is survived by his wife Mildred Stallworth of Pittsburgh, Pa.; daughters, Carmen and Michelle Stallworth both of Pittsburgh, Pa.; son, Harold Stallworth, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sister Sally Pearl Smelley of Detroit, Mich.; brothers Ossie Lee Stallworth of Detroit, Mich., Vann Stallworth of Pittsburgh, Pa.; special aunt Cora Bradford of Childersburg; a special friend Cheryl Day of Childersburg; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The body may be viewed on Friday at the funeral home from noon until 9 p.m. The family will have family hour at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. on Friday. Community Funeral Home will direct the funeral.
NOLLIE MAE GOVER WAITES
PELL CITY - Services for Nollie Mae Gover Waites, 71 of 1202 17th Street South will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Blooming Light Baptist Church with Elder Donald Gover officiating. Burial will be in Robinson Chapel Cemetery. The body will be at the church for one hour prior to the service.
She died Saturday, May 28, at Brookwood Medical Center. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara J. Morton and Babbie Marie Waites; five sons, Ronnie Waites, Barry Waites, Jerome Waites, Dwight Waites and Charles LeKith Waites, all of Pell City; 21 grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Grandsons, Thaddous Waites, Randall Waites, JaMichael Waites, Brandon Waites, John Henry Pryor and Charles Pryor will serve as pallbearers. Sims Funeral Service will direct the service.
