Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Phillips died April 8 in Crestview, Fla. She was a native and resident of Talladega for most of her life. She had lived in Florida since 1963. She was a member of Cinco Baptist Church in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. She was a former employee of Citizens Hospital in Talladega. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Phillips; daughter, Sara Vincent; and son, Dilmus Phillips. She is survived by two daughters, LaMurl Dyson of Talladega and Kathleen Bowman of Crestview, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Anne Haynes Riggins, 92, will be Monday, April 11, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with Brother Mike Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Riggins died April 8 at Coosa Valley Nursing Home. She was a member of Broadway Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, William Riggins. She retired from Avondale Mills with 40 years of service. She was a very devoted church member and mother. She is survived by two sons, William Marion Riggins and wife Rita of Memphis, Tenn., and Gerald Haynes Riggins and wife Lynn of Brierfield; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Drummonds; one son, Otis Drummonds; and one daughter, Doris Elise Drummonds. She is survived by one daughter, J.D. He was a Baptist by faith. He was retired from Talladega County Road Department and was a former employee of John Ray Trucking. He is survived by his wife, Opal L. Phillips of Eastaboga; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Chuck Gober of Eastaboga and Robin and Ronnie Winton of Eastaboga; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Clara Johnson of Lincoln, Elizabeth Dulaney of Lincoln, Harriett Willis of Oxford and Linda Henry of Oxford.

in Sylacauga. Mr. Farr died April 14 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was employed with Thompson Motors of Oak Grove. Mr. Farr was involved in various civic activities in the Sylacauga area and was a past co-chairman of the Sylacauga Planning Commission. A lifelong train enthusiast, Mr. Farr was active in the Heart of Dixie Railroad Club of Calera and was a past member of the Board of Directors.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ruth Farr of Sylacauga; son, Charlie F. "Chuck" Farr of Virginia Beach, Va.; brother, Douglas Farr of Dade City, Fla.; sister, Jean Holmes of Montgomery; three grandchildren, James Farr of Virginia Beach, Va., Victoria Farr of Fairfax, Va., and Katherine Farr of Hanover, N.H.

Calvin Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Lilly Rhoden Cemetery. Mr. Porter died April 10 at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a former member of Enon Baptist Church and an active member of Saint Paul Baptist Church in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a graduate of Phyllis Wheatley High School. He retired from the Department of Public Works of New York City.
He was preceded in death by his son, Victor Porter. He is survived by his wife, Betty Porter; and son, Douglas Porter, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; his parents, Albert and Annie B. Porter of Childersburg; one brother, Albert Porter Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Rebecca Shepard and Gladys and Carolyn Yowe, all of Childersburg and Mildred Kidd of Vincent; one grandchild; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
