LAURIE DIANE JOHNSON
LEEDS Funeral service for Laurie Diane Johnson, 61, will be Wednesday, March 23, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery
in Cropwell.
Mrs. Johnson died March 20. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Johnson; and parents, Tillie and L.D. Carpenter.
She is survived by sons, Jerry Kyle Johnson (Sharon), Edward Kevin Johnson, Raymond Kelly Johnson (Becky) and James Kenneth Johnson (Emily); parents, Al and Pat Vilensky; sisters, Jan Dimock, Elizabeth Morganbesser, Laney Haynes and Kathy Buser; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds will direct the service.
IRA H. KILLGORE
SYLACAUGA Graveside service for Ira H. Killgore, 83, will be Wednesday, March 23, at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery
with Pastor Jim Stanford officiating.
Mr. Killgore died March 20 at Bill Nichols Veterans Home. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Kilgore of Sylacauga; son, Jimmy Ray Kilgore and wife Glenda of Cragford; daughter, Gail Hodges and husband Bill of Birmingham; brother, Owen Killgore of Rainsville; sister, Nina Morris of Mellow Valley; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Presbyterian Church.

MATILEE TRUITT DOROUGH LUKER
Mrs. Matilee Truitt Dorough Luker, a lifelong resident of Pell City, passed away on March 19, 2005 at the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of Vida Bain and John W. Truitt of Eden, Alabama. Her maternal grandparents were Sarah Yates and Calvin Bain of Springville and Pell City. Her paternal grandparents were Tillulah Hindsman and Elijah Mullins Truitt of the early Eden community. Mrs. Luker is survived by her husband, Mr. Forrest D. Luker; children, Jane D. (Anthony) Bradley, Vicki D. (Randall) Harmon; stepchildren, Derrol (Mary) Luker and Suzanne L. (James) Clonts; grandchildren, Robert D. Skelton, Jennifer B. Caraway, Lyle Harmon, Anthony S. Bradley Jr., Brooke S. Hughes, Alton Holm Bradley, Heath Harmon, Dorian H. Rich, Samantha S. Bridgewater, Patrick Bradley, Maria B. Garzert, Darrol D. Luker, Alan Luker and their respective spouses. She is also survived by her sister, Louise Truitt Rich; and nephew, Dr. John S. Rich; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Luker was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Alton Dorough; and daughter, Judith D. Seals.
Mrs. Luker was a member of First Baptist Church in Pell City. She was active in local politics and was one of the first women in St. Clair County to be elected to a public office. Mrs. Luker served one term as Circuit Clerk of St. Clair County, worked for many years as Probate Clerk of St. Clair County and was an Industrial Consultant for the Alabama State Employment Agency. She served as president of the Retired State Employees Association of St. Clair County. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Pell City Friends of the Library.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 22, at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City with the Rev. A.L. Courtney and Father Van Forman conducting the service. The interment will be held at Valley Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert D. Skelton, Lyle Harmon, Heath Harmon, Anthony Shepherd Bradley Jr. and Patrick Bradley.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Pell City, St. Simons Episcopal Church of Pell City or Pell City Friends of the Library.

MOODY Funeral service for Joseph Henry Mitchell, 56, will be Tuesday, March 22, at 1 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in Midway Memory Gardens in Talladega.
Mr. Mitchell died March 19.
He is survived by daughter, Kelly Marie Mitchell; son, Joseph Henry Mitchell Jr.; sisters, Barbara Goss, Emma Lou Mitchell and Margie Gallahare; and grandchildren, Autumn and Christian Bass.

SYLACAUGA Mollie B. Owens died March 21 at Sylacauga Health Care Center.

TALLADEGA Funeral service for Myrtle H. Rollins, 89, will be Tuesday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Harris Hand officiating. Burial will be in Crumleys Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Rollins died March 20 at Talladega Health Care. She was a native of Cleburne County and was a member of Munford Church of God.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy Rollins (Jane) of Talladega, Charles Rollins (Rosemary) of Munford and Waymon Rollins (Rhonda) of Oxford; five sisters; four brothers; 10 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Rollins, Bengie Rollins, Jason Rollins, David Irvin, Blake Rollins and John Trickett.
Honorary pallbearer will be Sgt. James R. Rollins.
Miller Funeral Home will direct the service.

LEEDS Funeral service for Harold David Talley, 63, will be Thursday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in Forest Crest Cemetery.
Mr. Talley died March 18.
He is survived by wife, Carol Talley; sons, Beau Talley and Kirk Talley; daughter, Jennifer Webster; brothers, John Hugh Talley and Larry Talley; sisters, Peggy Turner and Judy Labram; and grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel, Caroline, Parker, Jacob, Claire and Emma.

RODGER DALE ISBELL
TALLADEGA - Funeral service for Rodger Dale Isbell, 55, will be Saturday, March 26, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Talladega with Dr. Ronnie Cheatwood and the Rev. David Holcombe officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Isbell died March 24 at University Hospital in Birmingham. He was a native of Clay County and lived in Talladega County for the past 17 years. He served in the U.S. Navy. He retired after 25 years as State the Revenue Examiner. After retirement, he was a licensed contractor and partner with J.I. Enterprise. He was an avid bowler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Isbell; and brother, Albert Sonny Isbell. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Isbell of Talladega; mother, Elsie Isbell of Delta; son, Kevin Isbell and wife Carie Isbell of Talladega; daughter, Deanna Cotney and husband Rickie of Lineville; sisters, Janice Argo and Patricia Heron of Pell City and Cheryl "Sherry" McGatha and husband Dexter of Delta; grandchildren, Lea Isbell and Samantha Cotney; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Ray Jowers, Vernon Jowers, Eric Webber, Mark McDowell, Steve McDowell and Todd Heron. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Jowers, Bud Webber, Dennis Bearden, Sam Gibson, Steve McNair, Richard Gulledge, David White, Gary Moses, Anthony Munroe, Tommy Sheppard, Scotty Sheppard, Billy Turner, Sam Willingham and Gary Vance. SYLACAUGA - Graveside service for Lorine Grace Lamberth, 90, will be Monday, March 28, at 3:30 p.m. in Smyrna Baptist Cemetery
in Goodwater with the Rev. Jimmy Abrams officiating. Mrs. Lamberth died March 25 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Willard Lamberth. She was a member of Mignon Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Eugene Cruise of Sylacauga; two brothers, J.W. Queen of Kellyton and J.C. Queen of Cullman; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donald Cruise, James Griffith, Danny Queen, Brandon McDonald, Brian Griffith and Bobby Griffith. The family will receive friends Monday from noon until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga will direct the service.

BIRMINGHAM - A funeral mass for Dorothy G. Spencer, 83, of Birmingham, will be Monday, March 28, at noon at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Sylacauga with Father Richard Spencer officiating. The wake will be at 11 a.m. at the church. Mrs. Spencer died Thursday, March 24, in Birmingham.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Spencer of Birmingham; four sons, three of whom are in the ministry, the Rev. Jim Spencer and wife Jean of Plano, Texas, Father Rick Spencer of Oakland, Md., Bill Spencer and wife Elaine of Lancaster, Pa., and Father Robert Spencer of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; daughter, Peggy Fetyko and husband Joe of Birmingham; seven grandchildren, Steven James Spencer, Patricia Spencer Kunkle, Jeanette Spencer Hirsh, Jessica Leigh Fetyko, Joey Spencer Fetyko, Derek Peter Spencer and Neil James Spencer; great-grandchild, Ryan Matthew Adams; and five other great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Vanhandle Kessler of Appleton, Wi., and Joan Vanhandle Sommerville of Zion, Ill. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Vanhandle; and a sister, Kay Witmer Vanhandle.
She served as a cryptographer in the U.S. Marine Corps and held the rank of Sergeant. She was an active supporter of scouting activities, Troops 117 and 27. She was a member and past president of St. Jude's Ladies Guild, member of parish council and Sylacauga Little League Auxiliary.
