PELL CITY — Graveside service for James E. Glenn Jr., 76, will be Friday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m. in Sulphur Springs Cemetery
with the Rev. Al Rosenblum officiating.
Mr. Glenn died Feb. 8.
He is survived by his wife, Myrl Glenn; sons, Eddie Glenn, Greg Glenn, Davis Glenn and Don Glenn; daughters, Gail Mitchell, Daree McCay and Teresa Norman; sister, Mary Marr; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

LINEVILLE — John Hann Jr., 84, died Feb. 8 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Birmingham.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Sims Funeral Service.

RAGLAND — Funeral service for Herbert G. Liner, 75, will be Friday, Feb. 11, at noon at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Trussville with Brother Ford officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Liner died Feb. 8. He was retired from Jim Walter Resources with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janie Hawkins. He drove a school bus for Ragland schools for 10 years and retired.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Flora Liner of Ragland; daughters, Geneva Tillman of Riverside, Frances Young of Guntersville and Dawn Borden of Pinson; son, Herbert Liner Jr. of Springville; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Mary Dover Owen, 86, will be Thursday, Feb. 10, at 3 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with the Rev. David Lawrence and Ralph Gernigan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Owen died Feb. 8 at Sylacauga Health Care. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.
She is survived by brothers, James O. McGrady of Sycamore, Robert F. McGrady and wife Ann of Sycamore and Jimmy J. McGrady and wife Sue of Sycamore; sister, Gladys Liner of Sycamore; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie McGrady, Andy McGrady, Steve Cochran, Nelson Liner, Bob McGrady and Johnny Sims.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.

CROPWELL — Funeral service for JW Reynolds, 84, will be Friday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. James Blair and the Rev. David Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Valley Hill Memorial.
Mr. Reynolds died Feb. 8. He was a World War II veteran and retired with 38 years of service with Southern Railroad. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
He is survived by daughter, Terri R. Thornton (James); sister, Doris McCracken; grandchildren, Michael Kirk Thornton (Amy), Kimberly Rae Thornton and Kelli T. Staples (Shad); and great-grandchildren, Stephanie McKinnon, Lexie Thornton, Zack Thornton, Jesse Staples and Jenna Wade Staples.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

BIRMINGHAM — Funeral service for Juanita F. Snowden will be Friday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m. at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Snowden died Feb. 9. She was born May 19, 1927. She was a previous member of First Lutheran Church and was an active member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. "Nini" was loved by her own grandchildren and the Green Springs area children as well. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, James E. Snowden Sr.
She is survived by son, James Snowden Jr. of Sylacauga; daughter, Joan Bowman of Columbiana; three grandchildren; sisters, Violet Spencer and Martha King of Birmingham and Margaret Dunavant of Fulton, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Cecil Jackson Thornburg, 66, formerly of Clay County, will be Friday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at Anchor Holds Full Gospel Church in Millerville with the Revs. Tony and Donna Thornburg officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Thornburg died Feb. 8 at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga. He was a native of Fayetteville in Talladega County but had lived most of his life in Clay County. He was a graduate of Bibb Graves High School, was self-employed in janitorial services and was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Protestant Church.
He is survived by daughter, Pam Thornburg of Millerville; sons, Tony Thornburg of Millerville and Jeff Thornburg of Childersburg; sisters, Ercelle Laney of Hollins, Mildred Williams of New Site, Ruby Nell Hart of Charleston, Tenn., and Judy Williams and Janice Smith of Hollins; brother, Raymond Thornburg of Columbiana; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 until 8 p.m. Thursday and until 10 a.m. on Friday.
The body may be viewed at the church from 10:30 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Williamson died Feb. 8. He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Williamsom; brother, Jim Williamson; and sister, Joy Elders.
He is survived by his mother, Lilly Williamson; brothers, Newt Williamson, Pete Williamson and Pat Williamson; and sisters, Jerolyn Weaver and Regina Walker.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Hardy, Arlin Parsons, Terry Roe, W.C. Roe, David Lee and Jace Brascho.
