ANNIE BAKER
SYLACAUGA Funeral service for Annie "Penny" Baker, 44, will be Monday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. at Kingston Baptist Church in Alpine with the Rev. Robert Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Baker died Feb. 3 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham. She was a member of Kingston Baptist Church and was employed by Hardees in Childersburg.
She is survived by her mother, Addie Morris of Sylacauga; four daughters, Nephaterie Baker and Laqretia Baker of Childersburg, Crystal Baker and Shenekia Baker of Birmingham; three grandchildren, Keenon Baker, Kayla Baker and Leterrian Powell of Childersburg; two sisters, Thelma Duncan of Talladega and Jacquelyn Oden of Sylacauga; and three brothers, John D. Morris Jr. and Henry Morris of Columbus, Ohio, and Albert Morris of Childersburg.
Pallbearers will be Chris Twyman, William Duncan, Jason Whetstone, Joe Duncan, Ricky Duncan and John Duncan.
Flower bearers will be employees of Hardees and friends of the family.
The family will receive friends Sunday from noon until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Community Funeral home will direct the service.
KELLIE MAEBELL LONGMILE
SYLACAUGA Funeral service for Kellie Maebell Longmile, 94, of Sylacauga will be Monday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. at Marietta Baptist Church in Goodwater with the Rev. Jesse Mays officiating. Burial will be in Marietta Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Longmile died Feb. 2 at her residence. A native of Coosa County, she was a member of Marietta Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Longmile.
She is survived by three daughters, Kelly McKenzie of Goodwater, Levelma Wilson and husband, Theotis, of Childersburg and Deloise Long and husband, Joe, of Sylacauga; five sisters, Mabel Gaddis and Annie L. Moon, both of Goodwater, Madark Bradford of Detroit, Teresa Smith of Springfield, Ohio, and Annie Ruth Robinson of Flint, Mich.; five brothers, Pollard Strong, Thurston Strong and Ralph Strong, all of Goodwater, and Rufus Strong and Denver Strong, both of Flint, Mich.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews and sons-in-law.
Madden Funeral Services in Sylacauga will direct the service.
JACK TALMADGE BLACKERBY
LINCOLN Private service will be held for Jack Talmadge Blackerby, 76, of Lincoln.
He died Friday, Feb. 4, at his residence.
Mr. Blackerby was preceded in death by his parents, John and Onzell Blackerby; three sisters, Catherine Sellers, Josephine Sellers and Peggy Gurley; and two brothers, Tommy Blackerby and Leon Blackerby.
He is survived by four daughters, Judy Murray of Griffin, Ga., Linda Head of Hampton, Ga., Anita Conkle of Hampton, Ga., and Debbie Crowe of Dallas, Ga.; two sons, Jeffrey Blackerby of Acworth, Ga., and Brian W. Blackerby of Dallas, Ga.; two brothers, Huey Blackerby of Piedmont and William Blackerby of Lincoln; and his caretaker, Zella Forbus of Lincoln.
MILDRED BUSSEY SMITH CAZALAS
TALLADEGA Funeral service for Mildred Bussey Smith Cazalas, 84, of Talladega will be Monday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega with the Rev. Rick Cato officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Cazalas died Feb. 5,at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Munford, was a Baptist by faith, and was owner and operator of Mildreds Beauty Shop.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; one daughter, Patricia Fay Matson; two sons, Edgar Ray Spencer and wife, Jean, of Munford and James Clinton Spencer and wife, Shirley of Sycamore; two sisters, Gay Langley of Munford and Gwendolyn Woodard of Talladega; four brothers, Howard Bussey, Dan Bussey and Gerald Bussey, all of Talladega, and Carol Smith of Carrolton, Ga.; 10 grandchildren, Roger Smelley, Randy Smelley, Wayne Popham, Richard Popham, Beth Pruitt, Kim Clark, Tony Spencer, Phyllis Hubbard, Rhonda Sanders, Stefanie Knight; 15 great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tony Spencer, Roger Smelley, Randy Smelley, Richard Popham, Walt Sanders and Jimmy Knight. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

JAMES OWEN IVEY
SYLACAUGA Funeral service for James Owen Ivey, 84, of Sylacauga will be Sunday, Feb. 6, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Keith Pugh and Dr. Bill Dean officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
in Sylacauga.
Mr. Ivey died Feb. 4 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.
He was an active member of the Claude Sawyer Sunday School class at First Baptist Church, and a veteran of World War II where he served in the Army Medical Corp in the Mediterranean Theatre.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 14 years, Nell Burns Ivey, and his brothers, Doc Ivey, Monk Ivey and Bill Ivey.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lois Horton Ivey; three sons, Dr. Mike Ivey and wife, Dee, of Sylacauga, Sam Ivey and wife, Gail of Melbourne, Fla., and Tim Ivey and wife, Debbie of Lexington, N.C.; brother, Ted Ivey of Sylacauga; four grandsons, Jason Ivey, Jarrod Ivey, Jason Duke and Joshua Ivey; four granddaughters, Janna Ivey, Nonnie Baill, Tanaya Day and Jessica Schumacher; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Matt Baill, Jeremy Day, Joshua Ivey, Jeremy Schumacher, Jason Ivey, Jason Duke and Virgil Williams.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

TALLADEGA Funeral service for Mae Lois Mitchell, 69, will be Sunday, Feb. 6, at 2:30 p.m. at Midway Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harvey Bowlin Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell died Feb. 5 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega.
She was preceded in death by her son, Willis Mitchell and her daughter, Janet Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Mitchell; two sons, Johnnie Mitchell and Sidney Mitchell, both of Talladega; two daughters, Sheila Hendon of Lineville and Patricia Moore of Talladega; six grandchildren, April McCain, JoAnn Mitchell, Melissa McGougin, Adam Moore, Randy Moore and Cameron Pate; six great-grandchildren, Shanan McCain, Kimberly McCain, Trinity Reeves, Amber Reeves, Jeremiah McGougin and Dustin Moore.

SYLCAUGA Funeral service for Joyce C. Ricks, 69, of Sylacauga will be Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tony McGrady officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Methodist Cemetery.
Mrs. Ricks was born Jan. 29, 1936, and died Saturday, Feb. 5, in Sylacauga.
She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Anthony Ricks.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Ricks of Sylacauga; three sons, William David Ricks and wife, Fay, Donald Ricks, and Dale Ricks and wife, Kendra, all of Sylacauga; two daughters, Pamela Grice and husband, Greg, of Sylacauga and Angie Gregory and husband, Chris, of Columbiana; four brothers, Harold David Collier, Kermit Gaston Collier and Alva Gene Collier, all of Sylacauga, and Donald Browning Collier of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kyle Cotton, Anna Ricks and Anthony Ricks, all of Sylacauga, and Connie Vandiver of Childersburg; and three great-grandchildren, Pamela Weldon, Christopher Weldon and Jessie Vandiver, all of Childersburg.
